A round of fixes to keep journeybot running smoothly.

A fresh layout for journey details Journey details now sit on one card led by your destination, with the weather beside the map and your activities included. Tap any temperature to switch between °C and °F. One search for journeys and templates Search has its own tab and finds journeys and packing templates together. Settings moved to the top right of the journeys list, and a new Active & Upcoming filter remembers the one you picked last time. Smarter packing lists Smart packing lists now cover everyday essentials and the key items for your weather and activities. Extra large widget on iPad and iPhone The upcoming journey widget now comes in an extra large size. On iPad it shows more of your trips at once, and on iPhone with iOS 27 it fills a whole Home Screen page. While you're away, every size leads with the trip you're on and counts down to its end. Fresh copies of gallery templates You can now add a clean copy of a gallery template you've already changed. Duplicates get a number at the end of their name.

Reminders for your trip Add your own reminders to a journey: check-in times, a booking to confirm, anything you'd rather not carry in your head. Give one a time and journeybot notifies you. On iOS 27 you can just ask Siri, and the more you do, the better it gets at knowing where they belong. Apple Private Cloud Compute for smart lists Smart packing lists are now generated privately on your device by default, offline and with no limits. Switch to Apple Private Cloud Compute in Settings when you want stronger suggestions. Every category also comes back properly filled in, so there's less left for you to add yourself. Also in this release Choose which activity-linked templates to include before generating, see which journey details shape your smart packing list, and on iOS 27, create a Genmoji in one tap right from the icon picker.

Performance improvements Opening a journey and scrolling through its details is quicker now. journeybot loads what it needs up front instead of looking it up again and again, so the app stays responsive while you browse and pack.

Check your iCloud sync status in Settings Settings now shows whether your journeys are syncing with iCloud. If syncing isn't available, journeybot tells you what to check, so you'll know right away if you're signed out or iCloud access is turned off. Separate backgrounds for Light and Dark modes Choose one background for Light mode and another for Dark mode: sunny by day, moodier at night. Switch between them in Settings. Dark mode uses your current background until you choose a new one.

Import a packing list you already have Paste a checklist from Notes, pick a file from Files or another app, or bring in a spreadsheet as CSV. journeybot groups the items into categories and lets you review everything before it's added, so you can drop what you don't need. Anything you'd already checked off arrives packed. Categories that match how you pack Add your own packing categories and manage them from a journey's packing list or from a template. Rename them, change the icon, merge, reorder, or delete. Touch and hold a category's header right in the list for the same options. Imported items go into the categories you already use instead of piling into new ones. Also in this release Your medications list now sorts alphabetically as it grows. Touch and hold a category's header to mark everything in it as packed. And picking a destination now opens transport selection right away, so it's easier to set the right one from the start.

Keep the screen on while you pack The packing list menu has a new Keep Screen Awake switch that stops the display from locking, so you can set your phone down between items without the screen going dark. It's off by default, and once you turn it on it applies to every journey's packing list.

A new tab bar puts Journeys, Templates, Profile, and Settings within one tap from anywhere in the app — navigation feels lighter and every section is instantly reachable. - Tab bar navigation — Your key sections now live in a persistent tab bar at the bottom. Moving between Journeys, Templates, Profile, and Settings is instant; the bar steps aside when you open a journey so the packing switcher has full room at the bottom. - All preset journey colours, free — Every colour in the palette is now available to everyone.
