us.

Glenveagh doesn’t.

It simply exists, quietly and confidently, as it has for centuries.

This week’s journey takes us into the heart of one of Ireland’s last great wild places. A valley shaped by granite, water, wind and time, where birch trees whisper, mountains keep their own rhythm, and Lough Veagh reflects a sky that never stays the same for long.

There are no great queens waiting here.

No giants.

No ancient battles.

Instead, Glenveagh offers something different.

It reminds us that wilderness has never been empty. In Irish tradition, these places were alive with presence, inspiration and possibility.

As I wrote this piece, I found myself returning to one thought again and again:

Perhaps peace isn’t something we create. Perhaps it is something we notice once we stop carrying quite so much.

I hope this journey gives you a few quiet moments to slow down, look up, and remember that there is a part of you, just like this valley, that has never needed to be perfected.

Only remembered.

Go raibh maith agat
<div
