A Few Words in Defense of Our Country - YouTube Music

For many years, I was amused by the signs along I-75 in Ohio that read, “REPORT DRUG ACTIVITY”. I thought it was quaint, like something Barnie Fife might use his own wages to put. up. It never occurred to me that I-75 is a major pipeline for the flow of drugs.

Now, in Ohio rest areas, both restrooms feature kits on the wall so that dying junkies can get another fix (courtesy of the taxpayer) so that he or she or it can go on to take narcotics for another day.

Just imagine how this nation has changed since the Eisenhower administration. The highest tax bracket was 95%, but we had a world-changing phenomenon.

Of course, nothing was properly maintained and now it is all falling apart. From Friday, September 25, through September 28, ALL of I-75 at Cincinnati will be closed as workers repair a bridge that looms over the highway.

We live in troubling times..

Despite the horrific war (that left many of my friends dead and many more damaged for life), we could count on ABC, CBS, and NBC to do their best to inform us regarding societal and political changes in the world. And it only took 30 minutes every weekday evening. We lived in a simpler world where newspapers and magazines (e.g. the NYT Times, WaPo, Sierra, Scientific American, Vanity Fair, TIME magazine, NEWSWEEK, Rolling Stone, etc.) seemed to be actual sources of information - and not Trump-hating Demo/Communist publications.

Of course, this was 35 years before NPR and PBS joined the ranks of the propagandists and started printing hate-filled articles condemning POTUS 45/47. He was simply another millionaire with opinions who was frequently a guest on the Howard Stern show.

And we had wonderful music, written and performed by actual humans. There were no boy bands.

But now, as we paddle around in the Behavioral Sink that has become the Western World’s society, nothing is clear and we can trust nothing that we read or hear. Waco, Ruby Ridge, the destruction of Yugoslavia by the Clinton administration had not been dreamed about.

Now, what passes for news on television can only be described as partisan propaganda and every night we are tortured by news of what might happen tomorrow or next week. With the exception of constantly being reminded of how stupid the youngest generations have become and how women that murder their children are heroes, it is all a waste of time.

Similarly, we can have no confidence that anything we read has not been created by AI or that the comments on the various hate-filled websites were written by humans. By the same token, we cannot believe that the equally hateful comments are posted by humans (and not bots).

Seriously, what is the point of reading things that simply enrage you and cause your adrenaline to overwhelm your mind and body?

And don’t get me started on Podcasts. What is it that has caused hundreds of seemingly rational and sane people to believe they are highly-skilled and informed journalists?

Yet, as an old man, I just discovered my mind has fallen off the track. Please allow me to return.

Substack is quickly joining Twitter (repackaged as X) as a forum for angry people to ventilate and spread their frustration and hatred to the world. If it wasn’t for TGIF (THE FREE PRESS’ one excellent addition to the cacophony), I wouldn’t read anything, here) and, although I am a paid subscriber to THE FREE PRESS, if I ever want to comment on an article I found stimulating, I am always prompted to enter a six-digit numerical code to proceed. As I am just now transitioning from Windows to a MacBook, this is an exercise in futility since each time I exit Substack to locate that email with the magic code, I am informed that the code has expired and I must return to email for another useless code. Admittedly, there are doubtless fixes to this personal problem; but, nonetheless, it reduces the value of Substack in my mind and I am anxiously waiting for November when my annual subscription to THE FREE PRESS expires and I will no longer feel my blood pressure rise when faced with another inevitable podcast - to be beaten over the head by egomaniacs compelled to empty their brains with hours of self-important chatter.

All that being said, I wish I could just subscribe to TGIF. I find that endlessly entertaining - unlike those dozens of Substack contributors who all republish the same articles about the same things, day after day, week after week, month after month.

We live in a Behavioral Sink where most of mankind seems to have lost their collective minds and have nothing better to do than to argue with robots and fascist loons. Maybe those legendary FEMA camps could be used to house the alcoholics, the drug addicts, and the purveyors of hatred that have taken over the Internet. I don’t care. I am dropping out of this insane digital world and I encourage everyone else to do the same.

Of course, once the horny old king’s wife had his child, Hagar and her child were exiled. Needless to say, most of these greenhouses were looted and destroyed almost immediately.

But what I find most interesting is that Hurricane Katrina hit the USA in September of 2005. There are no coincidences.

Most are aware of God’s judgment on the world when Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed with fire and brimstone. Most recall the story of Noah. Those who are not religious do not believe that God has the power to destroy evil. I disagree.

Ever since Madelyn Murray O’Hare convinced the Supreme Court to stop prayer in public schools, America has turned into a major shit hole. We lead the world in promoting perversion. Churches sit empty while spoiled, lazy, and stupid people waste their lives in the collection of money, property, and meaningless toys.

The USA, like most of the West, can no longer be considered Christian or even gives thought to spiritual matters. We may have forgotten God, but he’s not forgotten us.

In my mind, the only question worth asking is whether the USA will continue to support Israel or if it will fall in line with those billions who would love to see Israel destroyed.

Let’s consider the horror expressed by the mainstream media at learning that 17 American troops have been killed during the three month Iran/US war.

Where do I begin?

First of all, every death is a tragedy and every American soldier or sailor who volunteered to serve our nation, knowing that he or she could be making the ultimate sacrifice, is a hero.

While much of the fat and hairy American men parading around in dresses (even in the pristine environment of Marquette, Michigan) have few desires besides sodomy, alcohol, and drugs, those heroes killed in the past 93 days stand out as actual warriors - and not psychotic fools.

How many have been murdered in Chicago in 2026? The answer is 229.

In WW II, during the five-week Battle of the Bulge, 20,000 American soldiers were killed and 75,000 allied troops died.

In six months, during the battle for Stalingrad, 1,100,000 Russian soldiers were killed.

I would never discount the lives of that handful of patriots who have died in the effort to keep Islam at bay; but I can’t help but notice the contrast between wars and how some American cities have devolved into killing fields with MUCH MORE DEATH than we have seen in the Mideast.

Those constant reminders (at least from CBS 24/7news) make it appear that our soldiers are victims of an ill-advised and (apparently already) lost war against those Iranian fanatics.

Pray for our troops and pray that the US will soon be using Ukrainian drones to completely destroy the leadership and infrastructure of the world’s leading exporter of terror and murder.

Bits and pieces of Norah O’Donnell’s super-softball interview of the world’s most notorious abuser of a mentally challenged and helpless senior citizen have been broadcast on CBS News.

I’m sure that if anyone has the patience or interest in wasting time by watching Norah O’Donnell suck up to Joe Biden’s abusive and wildly ambitious bitch of a wife, he or she will be either angry or disappointed.

What was the most intrusive and best question that Norah asked Mrs. Biden? After the old hag said she had not noticed any change in Joe’s behavior, Norah asked, “Really"?” Talk about a probing interview in search of information!!!!!

If CBS is sincerely interested in convincing its viewers that Joe Biden was mentally competent, he should have been interviewed along with Jill.

He might have been able to answer which invisible people or ghosts he repeatedly tried to shake hands with whenever he was led onto a stage with a podium.

I’ll bet he could have explained the wisdom behind opening our southern border to every deadbeat, lunatic, and criminal on Earth.

Unless I am mistaken, most of these countries are enemies of the USA.

The so-called Fourth Turning is changing the entire world - not just America.

Like a patient with cancer in the lymph nodes, all the money in the world will not kill that cancer. Possibly it is time for Lebanon, Pakistan, and Somalia to cease to exist.

But an article on British television this morning caught my eyes and my ears.

Did you realize the 75% of British synagogues have been attacked in the past twelve months? Have you heard about the two Jews stabbed this morning in London? If a crime is committed in England by a white man, his ethnicity is always reported by Scotland Yard. If the criminal is black or Arab, his identity is hidden.

Manchester has been controlled by Muslims for twenty years. London has been controlled by Muslims for about fifteen. Weekly protests have been going on in London since the murders, kidnappings, rapes, and dismemberments by Hamas. “From the river to the sea” is often heard on the streets of London.

We all know the specific group that refuses to accept the values of the West and until someone has the courage to say it out loud, we will continue to be destroyed by this hateful political movement disguised as a religion.

At this moment, while we no longer have to embarrass ourselves by removing our shoes, belts, and contents of our pockets before boarding a passenger plane, we have a government shutdown that includes the non-payment of TSA workers. In fact, this is the second time in less than a year where politicians, by not showing up to work, have put TSA workers in a precarious situation. On one hand, they could work for free and destroy their lives and families. On the other hand, they have the power, like our elected representatives, to simply stay home for the same pay.

I know what I would do. In fact, it appears that a fair percentage of TSA workers have realized they are considered pawns by the Democrat/Socialist Party and they are choosing not to volunteer their services at airports. Is it simply to survive, or do these heroes want to spare Florida the embarrassment of Spring Break? I don’t care. I don’t fly. I think it is hilarious. Hilarious and wonderful if it entices congress to return to work.

Great job, TSA Workers! You have shown that people actually have some power in our bureaucratic hell hole. You have committed a great act of bravery in standing up to those who are paid to represent us and choose not to.

If air traffic is screwed up even more, if airports have to close, even our elected representatives might wake up to the damage they have done to America. Hopefully, the voters will remember Chuck Schumer and his fellow politicians who serve no one but themselves and the lobbyists that allow them to live like royalty while hard-working men and women are forced to work like actual slaves instead of wage-slaves.

Not surprisingly, the two propagandists performing on THE WEEKEND EDITION were beside themselves with hatred for President Trump and keen on saying every hateful thing that came to their demon-infested little minds.

They condemned the POTUS for announcing late last night that hostilities have finally begun to destroy the world’s largest terrorist sponsor. One of the fools seemed nearly in tears as he condemned President Trump for not consulting with the ilk of Ilhan Omar, Chuck Schumer, and Tlaib before stopping their favorite government from developing nuclear weapons to destroy Israel and to dominate the Mideast.

“I guess Trump feels he can do anything he wants,” sniffed his partner in treachery.

“Lots of Americans are going to be killed,” said the straight man.

“Trump lobbied for the Nobel Peace Prize, and now, this,” said either Moe or Curly Joe.

Of course, they neglected to mention that our President broadcast it far in advance that if the worthless negotiations failed to succeed, he would take action.

In other words, these moronic sad sacks (who happily get no more of my tax money), they condemned him for telling the truth and for his actions - which are more likely to bring a lasting peace to the Mideast than all the planeloads of cash that Obama gifted Iran with to complete their nuclear dream of destroying Israel and dominating all the other Muslim nations.

Happily, the Iranians are proving to be as stupid as National Public Radio in sending missiles willy-nilly throughout their surrounding countries and alienating the Muslim world as well as the civilized world.

While I was brought up by fanatical pacifists, I hope our actions today are just a preview of what the world will see in the next weeks. It is time to put the German blitz into perspective by dealing Iran with such a decisive blow that all their government buildings turn to dust along with all their leaders.

Much has changed since November. Now, the essays posted by THE FREE PRESS are anti-American, twisted and negligent in reporting facts, and basically useless. Consider the post yesterday where some sociologist attacked ICE and the Border Patrol for attempting to control the mobs of brainwashed fools clogging the streets, biting off fingers, vandalizing vehicles, and attacking Federal officers.

Today’s propaganda by Nellie Bowles is further evidence of the degradation of that website. Nellie found it convenient to join the hordes of leftists, communists, and plain stupid people who condemn law enforcement for doing what they are paid to do. Did she make any comment about Alex Pretti’s previous attack on the Feds? Did she mention that he kicked a taillight out of one of their vehicles? Did she notice that the videos clearly show he was carrying his gun in his waistband when he spat on and attacked the officers? No. Of course not.

Did she mention that Don Lemon has been arrested for his involvement by his fellow Marxists because he invaded and disrupted a church service in Minneapolis?

I apologize to all my readers for suggesting that THE FREE PRESS was an honest source of information.

Consider for a moment what the government shutdown is, why it exists, and what Chuck Schumer’s motivation for doing it is.

First of all, (and I will not write this as if I was writing for a child) consider what a Continuing Resolution is. It continues running the government at levels approved for last year.

This does not strike me as particularly controversial. And it should not be. In fact, the only reason Schumer shut the government down is because he knew that air traffic controllers, the military, law enforcement, and society-at-large would be hurt by the shutdown. He was counting on it lasting for a month so that the largest number of Americans would be hurt by it.

Had he not chosen to shut down the government, our elected representatives and Senators would have had a month, now, to debate insurance coverage for American citizens.

But Schumer, realizing that his party is on the verge of dissolution, went for the Hail Mary and decided it would be best to punish all Americans and hope for a crisis that would make Republicans look bad and put all of us in danger.

Interesting fact: Two nights ago, Bill Maher had Marjorie Taylor Green on his REAL TIME program and he agreed with virtually everything she said. Is John Fetterman the only hope for the Democrat Party? I think so. They have spread such a “big tent” that it is now filled with raging lunatics who all hate each other - just not as much as they hate Christianity, Judaism, and, of course, President Trump.

Maher compared the Democrat Party to Radio Shack and Sears.

It seems like a lifetime ago when Autopen Joe told the miners in New Hampshire that they could all find rewarding careers in “coding”.

Happily, the Army, the Navy, the Air Force, and Marines are now being trained in riot control. You can be certain that the brownshirts of Antifa and BLM are on high alert and prepared for more burning, killing, and looting.

Why am I writing this? I have no one else to talk to. Please don’t consider this condescension or an attempt to insult or diminish your value. It is simply a fact of life that humans are social animals and those of us physically unable to participate fully in communal activities are limited to expressing our thoughts in writing, in the hopes that someone will read them and find them thought-provoking.

Before launching into very brief summaries of the Mideast and the new restrictions issued by the Pentagon, I must mention one recent addition to our electronic lives and that is the proliferation of Podcasts. I am wild about Walter Kirn and I like Matt Taibbi (now that he is no longer making fun of Christians in Tennessee). Taibbi is a great example of a champion of the people and a great example of a free-thinker capable of re-appraising and changing his view of the world. As an aside, a friend used to always get me a subscription to ROLLING STONE for Christmas. About twenty years ago, I canceled that subscription after reading a particularly abrasive and hateful essay in that worthless rag.

I said that to say this: Why is it that so many people have taken to posting their meanderings on podcasts? The thoughtful ones include transcripts so that their victims can quickly read what has been verbalized and, in most cases, will not waste thirty minutes or more massaging some frustrated author’s ego. This is not to say that everyone who makes podcasts are narcissists; but I think that 99% of them are. And, just like my fellow Substackers who run into writer’s block and repeat “updated” junk they’ve posted years ago, they strike me as frustrated pawns in a world that has grown too fast and too confusing.

I’m sure I’m not the only one frustrated by the fact that so many Substack performers now have paywalls to prevent readers from commenting on their words of wisdom. Well, not to blow my own horn too loudly, I believe I am generous in my choice of charities and I don’t feel compelled to pay to voice my opinion. When I read an article on Substack that strikes me as especially interesting, I usually bump into a dropdown that informs me only Paying Subscribers can comment. Don’t get me going on msm.

Now that I’ve aired my personal grudges, I want to share my thoughts on current events. As my Substack is (and always will be) free, anyone can comment. I do not have thin skin and I am honestly interested in what others think.

How about that Mideast Peace, eh? It all seemed so perfect until we learned that Hamas has refused to release the bodies of 24 bodies of those Jews they tortured and murdered, despite the agreement. I was thrilled to hear President Trump say that if Hamas does not turn in its weapons, the US will take them away from them. And, of course, there is that video of Hamas murdering seven men in Gaza today. I think it is a shrewd strategy to cut the beggars’ rations in half until the gangsters learn to behave or die.

The other thing that I have on my mind today is the news about the Pentagon restricting access to much of the mainstream media. Yes, many are screaming about censorship and Soviet techniques; but think for a moment. How many of our military leaders are truly patriots? How many have been busted for selling secrets to China? How many in the media are actually propagandists with the ultimate goal of destroying the USA? I would go so far as to say that describes the majority of them.

Finally, am I the only one who has noticed how much better things are when the government is shut down? Possibly, Schumer’s shutdown should be permanent.

It is easy to appreciate the wisdom of C.G. Jung at a time like this. We all are good and we all are bad. It leads to confusion, indigestion, and violence.

This (as I’ve often promised int he past) may be my last Substack post. It is becoming too frustrating to see how evil has taken over the West (and particularly the USA). Morgan, his financier at the time, realized that he would make no money from free electricity and stopped funding the project.

It has been suggested that Tesla terminated the project because he feared that sending massive waves of electricity into space would rebound in the form of extremely violent storms and climate change.

Early last Saturday morning several diligent drunks in Cincinnati found it entertaining to watch a white man and a white woman beaten senseless by a black mob. According to the police, 99 videos of the incident were created, while only one person called 911.

Mayor Afteb Percival, who is black, insists there is no racial component in these assaults. NBC reported on it. ABC, CBS, CNN, MSNBC, NPR, and Public Television didn’t feel it was an interesting enough story to bother reporting on it.

I threw the coins this morning, the day after fourteen 30,000 bombs were dropped on Iranian nuclear sites. I asked the oracle (since we get nothing but lies and propaganda on television and in magazines) what the situation was in Israel today and what we might expect in the future.

My dear friend Bill Hughes once told me that any hexagram can be interpreted in any way. In fact, this is usually the case. Consider, however the gua I came up with this morning. My throw included three changing lines (#3, #5, #6).

The initial hexagram (Xian - Mutual influence) tells me that the USA and Israel worked together to create yesterday’s amazing success. What do the moving lines say? All three of the English summaries include (according to Alfred Huang’s translation) the phrase MUTUAL INFLUENCE.

Of course, nothing stays the same in this world besides congress, so here’s the new Hexagram, describing the future of the US/Iran war: Disturbingly, hexagram 23 (BO - Falling Away) seems to point to the dissolution of the resolve or partnerships of one side or another.

Of course, the Democrats are already calling for another impeachment of our President. Happily, most people (including Dems) are sick of the KKK Party and it may soon dissolve and leave us with an actual moderate government in place. But that has nothing to do with the I Ching; so I am stopping typing, now.

And then, there was that spooky procession as the House Democrats carried the order for Trumps impeachment trial in a holy box.

All I have to do is type the word “Spartacus” and everyone interested in politics knows which phony liar claimed that he actually WAS Spartacus.

There were the fake pictures of AOC at the border, Obama allowing the traitor Bergdahl’s father a Rose Garden Ceremony where the old man babbled in Farsi.

Finally, we have the spectacle of Senator Chris Van Hollan bursting into Kristi Noem’s press conference looking like nothing more than a coked-up deranged professional wrestler.

His apologists will say he identified himself as a Senator (only as he was pushed into the hallway). Ask yourself, “Is this proper identification?” The ghost of Yassar Arafat could come into a government meeting and say he was the reincarnated Marilyn Murray O’Hare and, nationwide, Democrats would be marveling at their Satanic powers and the miracles they can now claim for the Church of Eternal Worry and Fear.

In closing, I want to note that Chris Van Hollan was the attention-seeking goofball who went to El Salvadore for publicity and he was the one who aggressively invaded Kristi Noem’s meeting. I nominate him for the SPARTACUS TROPHY: two fake scandals that hit the media within two weeks. To say Chris is not an ambitious politician is like saying there is no difference between garden snakes and rattlers.

I will not say what that scoop is made of or what end of a horse it came from.

But.

While so many MAGA’s are going berserk and sensing that the 2nd Trump administration is faltering, consider the Maginot Line.

Why was France defeated so easily by Germany? They were mistakenly fighting an earlier war.

While ABC, CBS, CNN, MSNBC, NBC, NPR, and PBS are sharpening their tongues and trying to, as always, impeach the only good POTUS since Reagan, I would love to learn that Goldberg was intentionally fed misinformation that will mislead the CCP, Iran, and their allies, the American media.

Every literate person has read something that touches a chord within. There is a knowing, a comprehension that you have stumbled upon a universal truth and that somehow you have always been aware of it. All too often this understanding and recognition disappears within a few minutes. Even more often, we will read something that is on the edges of our understanding and intellect. We know we’ve read something profound and that the core of it is beyond our reach.

The latter has been my experience with Robert Thurman’s book THE JEWEL TREE OF TIBET. I’ve read it twice and each time I find myself tangled in the words and concepts. As a very average sort of American I am vaguely familiar with a lot of things and I enjoy telling myself that I understand some things. Never having lived in Tibet and never having been a Buddhist monk, I accept the fact that my understanding of Tibetan Buddhism is superficial and prejudiced.

A surprising footnote in any biography of Professor Thurman is the fact that he is the father of the actress Uma Thurman. This has nothing to do with today’s essay, but I threw it in to keep readers interested.

Returning closer to the topic, I recommend that anyone with an opportunity to listen to Robert Thurman speak should do so. The web of concepts and thoughts that he weaves in his book becomes transparent in a lecture. He turns 81 next year and he probably no longer travels with the Dalai Lama. Similarly, Tenzin Gyatsu, the 14th Dalai Lama, is now 87 and will probably never return to the USA. I was fortunate to see and hear them both at the University of Indiana in Bloomington many years ago and must take a moment to reflect on the aura, the sense of love and wisdom, displayed by the Dalai Lama. For those uninformed, it is tragic that the Chinese Communists kidnapped the Panchen Lama on May 17, 1995, making it unlikely there will ever be a 15th Dalai Lama and that Tibetan Buddhism will disappear just like the Babylonian worship of Marduk. But who is to say?

None of the above has anything to do with the Jewel Tree of Tibet. As I understand it, it is either Tibetan Buddhism or the chant Om Mani Padme Hum. Once again, I must confess my ignorance. If I am not far off the mark, Om Mani Padme Hum is a prayer that the worshipper’s heart and mind be one-directed and pure.

Most people in our world of technological wonders, distractions, and fears, find it hard to control the monkey mind and to focus on love and happiness. It is difficult to sense that golden ray that extends from the mind of God through the Sahasara, flows through our bodies and exits through our fingers and toes. It is nearly impossible to imagine that everything is mostly nothing and that waves of energy are constantly creating and becoming the universe we live in.

To live a joy filled life, it is necessary to not dwell on the evil that exists and to find the time to reflect on all that is good.
