I'm not sure if they are actually called "shadow blocks" but they have something to do with projects that somehow run without any code. Also, what happens if you drag a block below a collaped stack? I think an indication of collapsing would work |

It simply prevents the block from being drawn.
Since hidden bricks cannot be connected to, you cannot place a brick underneath a folded brick. I’m planning to make it possible to do so. |

I had no idea Blockly could be collapsed by default. |

It might be easier now that Scratch follows upstream Blockly much more closely. |

make it so that there is an arrow on the event blocks like when flag clicked etc. and when you click the arrow it hides all the blocks under it to save space
