Let a person type their own answer for each request field #2509
A user input request (userInputRequestSchema in packages/junior/src/chat/tools/runtime/user-input-request.ts) has one free-text note for the whole request (other). The note goes with the picked answers. A person cannot give a custom answer for one specific choice or multi_choice field. normalizeUserInputAnswer keeps only known option labels, so a typed value for a choice field is dropped.
With several fields, a person must explain in the note which field a custom answer is for. The model then has to map it back.
Prior art: BYK's opencode fork (BYK/opencode, branch byk/cumulative, packages/app/src/pages/session/composer/session-question-dock.tsx) has a "Type your own answer" option on each question. For multi-select, the typed text goes with the picked options.
Any change touches the answer schema, the dashboard form, the Slack modal (chat/slack/user-input.ts), and the model-facing answer format.
