The first step in birth chart interpretation, as we teach in our course, is to determine the most accurate zodiac system—Tropical or Sidereal—and house system.

In the case of Jon Ossoff, both zodiac systems produce some of the same planetary placements, including the Sun ☉ in Aquarius ♒, Jupiter ♃ in its own sign, Pisces ♓, and Mars ♂ in its own sign, Aries ♈.

However, the Moon ☽ is in Leo ♌ in the Sidereal zodiac (left), while it is in Virgo ♍ in the Tropical zodiac (right).

The Ascendant (ASC) is also different. In the Sidereal zodiac, it is in Libra ♎, with its ruler, Venus ♀, in Sagittarius ♐ in the 3rd house. In the Tropical zodiac, the Ascendant is in Scorpio ♏, ruled traditionally by Mars ♂, which is placed in the 6th house. In both case, Pluto is placed in 1st house.

According to his life experience, the Sidereal zodiac appears to be more accurate in his case for the following reasons:

• Diplomacy (Libra ♎): He studied diplomacy at Georgetown University.

• Journalism and communication: He developed an international investigative journalism business, producing documentaries for international news organisations. This is consistent with the Ascendant ruler, Venus ♀, being placed in the 3rd house.

The Moon ☽ in Leo ♌ also corresponds with the traditional astrological symbolism of political leadership, public visibility, authority, recognition and the desire to occupy a prominent position.

By comparison, the Moon ☽ in Virgo ♍ is more closely associated with analytical thinking, practical responsibilities, attention to detail, organisation and service.

Which House System?

Once we have determined the most accurate zodiac, we need to establish the appropriate house system. To do this, we compare the Whole Sign house system with the Placidus house system, examining which one corresponds more closely with the person's actual life experiences.

In both house systems, the Ascendant ruler, Venus ♀, is placed in the 3rd house of communication and journalism.

However, there are important differences. In the Whole Sign house system (left), the Sun ☉ is in the 5th house, while in Placidus (right), it moves into the 4th house. In the Whole Sign system, Jupiter ♃ and the North Node ☊ are instead placed in the 6th house.

Considering that the 5th house is associated with charisma and politics, the presence of Jupiter ♃ in its own sign of Pisces ♓, together with the North Node ☊, makes this house particularly prominent.

Therefore, in Jon Ossoff’s case, we consider the Placidus house system to offer a more convincing correspondence with his life experience.

The 10th house represents career, public reputation and status. In Jon Ossoff’s case, Jupiter ♃, Mars ♂, the Moon ☽ and the Lunar Node axis ☊☋ are aligned with the 10th house.

So, which birthdays and planetary cycles should you consider?

The Venus Synodic Return

Venus returns to approximately the same zodiacal position and the same relationship with the Sun every eight years. In the example above, these returns occur on November 4, 2029, and November 4, 2037.

These dates can therefore be considered “double birthdays.”

The Venus synodic cycle offers an opportunity to review your relationships, love life, finances, personal values, pleasures, and social connections. Pay particular attention to recurring themes and patterns in your life that emerge every eight years.

The Jupiter Return

These Jupiter birthdays occur approximately every 12 years. Each Jupiter Return marks the beginning of a new cycle of expansion, opportunities, beliefs, education, prosperity, and personal growth. Pay attention to how these themes develop and evolve throughout each 12-year cycle.

The Nodal Return

The Lunar Nodes return to their natal positions approximately every 18.6 years. Each Nodal Return marks the beginning of a new cycle of personal direction, ambitions, experiences, and karmic development. Pay attention to how your priorities, life direction, and sense of purpose evolve from one Nodal Return to the next.

The Progressed Moon Return

The Progressed Moon returns to its natal position approximately every 27–28 years, marking the beginning of a new cycle of emotional development, personal needs, family matters, and inner growth. In the world of astrology, it is crucial to distinguish between commercial astrology and investigative, research-based astrology.

Most astrology books you’ll find on Amazon belong to the first category: commercial astrology. They are written for a mass audience, designed to be accessible, entertaining, and visually appealing. Are You Really a Leo?

Another limitation of commercial astrology is its almost exclusive reliance on the Tropical zodiac and the position of the Sun at birth.

Why? Because people in the West have been taught since childhood that they are Leos, Virgos, Scorpios, or members of another zodiac sign. This concept has become deeply ingrained in popular culture. Challenging it would mean questioning one of the foundations on which commercial astrology is marketed and sold.

But you are not simply a Leo or a Virgo or a Capricorn.

We are a multitude of planets, each with its own placement, condition, and significance.

How Commercial Astrology Fuels Discrimination

Commercial astrology can cause real harm by reinforcing zodiac-based discrimination. It can encourage people to judge others based on zodiac signs associated with supposedly undesirable traits.

For example, Virgos are sometimes portrayed as “prickly” or difficult, making the sign less popular. Labeling someone a Virgo rather than a Libra may even affect their perceived desirability as a potential employee or romantic partner.

You hurt yourself by forming impressions of people based on commercial astrology stereotypes, and you hurt others by holding prejudices against them for something that may have nothing to do with who they really are.

Tropical or Sidereal Zodiac?

The birth chart can be interpreted through the Tropical and Sidereal zodiacs. For some individuals, the birth chart cast with the Tropical zodiac provides a more accurate interpretation; for others, the Sidereal zodiac offers a better fit.

In astrology, Jupiter is traditionally associated with expansion, prosperity, abundance, opportunities, wisdom, education, good fortune, and the ability to grow beyond our existing circumstances. It represents the areas of life in which we can expand our horizons, attract opportunities, develop our talents, and discover new possibilities.

Jupiter spends approximately one year in each zodiac sign. Consequently, every year brings a new Jupiter cycle, highlighting a different area of the zodiac and activating different parts of your birth chart.

But there is something important that is often overlooked: a Jupiter year does not produce the same results for everyone.

Even when Jupiter enters a sign traditionally considered fortunate, the opportunities it brings depend on the configuration of your individual birth chart. Two people can experience the same Jupiter transit and obtain remarkably different results. One might experience professional advancement, another financial opportunities, another a new relationship, while someone else might find opportunities for education, travel, or personal development.

To understand what a Jupiter year means for you, we need to investigate more than the zodiac sign Jupiter is visiting. We must examine the planets that Jupiter activates through its aspects, particularly the two trines.

Jupiter’s Twelve-Month Journey

Jupiter takes approximately 11.86 years to complete one revolution around the Sun. This means that it takes roughly twelve years to travel through all twelve zodiac signs, spending approximately one year in each.

Every time Jupiter enters a new sign, it begins a different chapter of expansion. It changes the astrological environment in which opportunities can emerge, and it activates different natal houses and planetary configurations.

This is why Jupiter’s annual transit should never be interpreted in isolation.

For example, Jupiter entering Leo does not automatically mean that everybody will experience a prosperous year in matters associated with Leo. The outcome depends on the natal planets in Leo, the house occupied by Leo, the condition of the Sun (Leo’s planetary ruler), and the aspects Jupiter forms with the other planets in your birth chart.

The same transit can therefore represent very different experiences.

However, there is one particular configuration that deserves special attention: Jupiter’s trines.

The Two Most Beneficial Trines of Jupiter

In traditional astrology, Jupiter is considered a natural benefic. Its symbolism is associated with growth, protection, generosity, prosperity, and favorable circumstances.

Among the major aspects, the trine is traditionally regarded as one of the most harmonious. It connects signs belonging to the same element and represents an easy flow of energy between the planets involved.

When investigating Jupiter’s annual transit, we should pay particular attention to the two signs that form trines with the sign Jupiter occupies.

These are always the 5th and 9th signs, counting inclusively from Jupiter’s current sign.

For example, Jupiter is currently traveling through Leo in the Tropical zodiac.

Starting with Leo itself:

• Leo is the 1st sign.

• Virgo is the 2nd sign.

• Libra is the 3rd sign.

• Scorpio is the 4th sign.

• Sagittarius is the 5th sign.

• Capricorn is the 6th sign.

• Aquarius is the 7th sign.

• Pisces is the 8th sign.

• Aries is the 9th sign.

Consequently, Jupiter in Leo forms sign-based trines with planets in Sagittarius and Aries.

These three signs belong to the Fire element. Their connection creates a harmonious triangular configuration through which the planets can cooperate more easily.

This is particularly important when the planets in Sagittarius and Aries are naturally benefic or have favorable conditions in your birth chart.

Why the Planets in Aries and Sagittarius Matter

Suppose you have natal Venus in Sagittarius and natal Jupiter is traveling through Leo.

Venus is traditionally considered a natural benefic, associated with relationships, affection, harmony, pleasure, material comforts, and financial resources.

Because Venus is in a trine relationship with transiting Jupiter, the two planets can cooperate harmoniously.

Depending on their natal house positions and rulerships, this combination might coincide with opportunities involving relationships, marriage, finances, business agreements, social connections, or personal enjoyment.

Now imagine that you have natal Jupiter in Aries.

When transiting Jupiter enters Leo, it forms a trine with your natal Jupiter. This is known as a Jupiter return by trine, or more precisely, a Jupiter trine Jupiter transit.

It can mark a period of renewed confidence, expansion, optimism, and opportunities to develop something that has already been growing in your life.

The exact manifestation depends on the houses involved and the condition of both planets.

The important principle is that the planets in the two trine signs tell us much more about the potential of a Jupiter year than the sign occupied by transiting Jupiter alone.

If you have well-placed natural benefics in Aries or Sagittarius, Jupiter’s passage through Leo can activate particularly supportive planetary combinations.

The flow of opportunities may feel relatively seamless because the planets involved have compatible significations and communicate through a harmonious aspect.

Natural Benefics and Malefics: Not All Trines Are Equal

Although the trine is traditionally considered a favorable aspect, we should not assume that every planet connected to Jupiter through a trine will produce the same results.

The nature and condition of the planets involved matter.

Venus and Jupiter are the two traditional natural benefics. When they form harmonious aspects, their significations can reinforce one another.

For example:

Venus in Sagittarius: Jupiter transiting Leo can activate opportunities involving relationships, financial resources, social life, pleasure, and material comforts.

Jupiter in Aries: The transit can bring renewed enthusiasm, confidence, education, travel opportunities, and expansion through the natal houses involved.

Mercury in Sagittarius: Jupiter can support learning, teaching, writing, communication, publishing, commerce, and intellectual development, depending on Mercury’s condition.

Sun in Aries: The transit can emphasize recognition, leadership, professional development, confidence, and the ability to pursue personal ambitions.

However, what happens when Saturn or Mars occupies one of the trine signs?

The interpretation becomes more complicated.

Saturn is associated with responsibilities, restrictions, discipline, delays, and long-term achievements. A trine between Jupiter and Saturn can help turn opportunities into something sustainable. Rather than simply receiving something, you may have to organize, structure, and develop it.

Mars represents action, ambition, competition, courage, and conflict. Its trine with Jupiter can provide the motivation to pursue opportunities, take calculated risks, and overcome obstacles. However, it can also encourage excessive confidence or overextension, depending on the condition of Mars.

Therefore, a trine does not automatically make every planetary combination beneficial. It describes the relationship between the planets, while their individual conditions determine how that relationship manifests.

The Importance of Your Natal Houses

Another essential part of the investigation is identifying the houses occupied by Jupiter and the planets it aspects.

The zodiac signs describe the qualities and characteristics of the planetary interaction. The houses indicate where these developments are more likely to manifest in your life.

For example, imagine Jupiter traveling through Leo in your 10th house, while natal Venus is in Sagittarius in your 2nd house.

This creates a trine between the 10th and 2nd houses.

The 10th house is associated with career, reputation, professional responsibilities, and public standing. The 2nd house concerns money, personal resources, possessions, and financial support.

Jupiter activating Venus through a trine could coincide with opportunities to improve your financial circumstances through professional development, recognition, or career advancement.

Now imagine that Venus is in Sagittarius in your 6th house instead.

The interpretation changes. Opportunities might emerge through employment, professional services, daily responsibilities, colleagues, or the development of practical skills.

The planets are the same, and Jupiter is still traveling through Leo. But the houses tell us that the opportunities may manifest through different circumstances.

This is why an accurate birth chart is indispensable.

What If You Have No Planets in the Two Trine Signs?

Does that mean you will not benefit from a Jupiter year?

Absolutely not.

The absence of natal planets in Aries and Sagittarius does not mean that Jupiter cannot bring opportunities.

We must also investigate the houses ruled by these signs, their planetary rulers, and the relationship between those rulers and Jupiter.

For example, Sagittarius is ruled by Jupiter itself. Therefore, when Jupiter travels through Leo, it can activate the natal house occupied by Sagittarius and the subjects associated with that house.

Aries is ruled by Mars. Consequently, the condition and placement of natal Mars become important when investigating the opportunities associated with Aries.

We should also examine the natal house occupied by Leo, the position of the Sun, and Jupiter’s aspects to other natal planets.

In other words, even without planets directly in the two trine signs, there are several ways in which Jupiter can activate your birth chart.

A Jupiter Year Is Not Necessarily a Year of Money

One of the most common misunderstandings in astrology is the assumption that Jupiter always brings financial prosperity.

Although Jupiter is associated with wealth, abundance, and material growth, its influence is not restricted to money.

Depending on the natal houses and planets involved, a Jupiter year can bring:

• Professional advancement and recognition.

• New business opportunities and agreements.

• Marriage, romantic opportunities, or improved relationships.

• Education, qualifications, and intellectual development.

• International travel and relocation.

• Increased social connections and influential contacts.

• Greater confidence and personal independence.

• Opportunities to teach, publish, or share knowledge.

• Spiritual development and a broader understanding of life.

Sometimes the greatest opportunity is not financial at all. It might be meeting someone who changes your professional direction, discovering a talent that you had not previously developed, or gaining access to an environment that opens entirely new possibilities.

Jupiter expands the subjects represented by the planets and houses it activates.

The question is not simply whether Jupiter is fortunate. The question is: What exactly is Jupiter expanding in your birth chart?

The Twelve-Year Jupiter Cycle

Because Jupiter takes approximately twelve years to return to its natal position, its journey through the zodiac also creates a larger developmental cycle.

When transiting Jupiter returns to the sign and degree of your natal Jupiter, you experience your Jupiter return.

This happens approximately every twelve years, creating opportunities to reconsider your ambitions, beliefs, educational direction, professional objectives, and long-term plans.

Each return takes place in a different stage of life.

Your first Jupiter return occurs around age 12, the second around age 24, the third around age 36, the fourth around age 48, and so on.

These periods can coincide with new developmental chapters, although their manifestations depend on the rest of the birth chart and the circumstances of your life.

The Jupiter return is particularly interesting because it activates the natal Jupiter placement again. It can bring you back to themes, opportunities, and ambitions that have been developing since the previous cycle.

It is not simply about receiving more. It is also about understanding what you have learned and deciding how you want to expand during the next twelve years.

How to Investigate Your Next Jupiter Year

To understand what a Jupiter year might bring, I recommend investigating the following elements of your birth chart:

1. Jupiter’s transiting sign: Identify the zodiac sign Jupiter is visiting and the natal house occupied by that sign.

2. Jupiter’s natal house: Examine the house Jupiter is currently transiting and the subjects associated with it.

3. The two trine signs: Identify the planets you have in the 5th and 9th signs from Jupiter’s current position.

4. The condition of the planets: Determine whether these planets are well-placed, neutral, or poorly placed in your birth chart. Their natural and functional significations matter.

5. The natal houses involved: Investigate the houses occupied and ruled by the planets forming trines with Jupiter.

6. The planetary rulers: Examine the condition of the Sun, Mars, and Jupiter when Jupiter is traveling through Leo and activating Aries and Sagittarius.

7. The exact aspects: Look at the degrees of the planets. A sign-based trine establishes the relationship, but an exact trine can make the activation more pronounced.

Finally, consider the other transits occurring at the same time. Jupiter does not operate independently of Saturn, Mars, Venus, or the lunar nodes. A favorable Jupiter configuration may coincide with responsibilities, adjustments, or challenges indicated by other planetary movements.

Your Jupiter Year Is Written in Your Birth Chart

Every year Jupiter visits a different zodiac sign, but the opportunities it activates are highly individual.

For someone, Jupiter in Leo might open doors through career advancement and public recognition. For another, it might bring financial opportunities through relationships, education, or business. For someone else, it might mark a period of personal reinvention and the discovery of new ambitions.

The two trines deserve particular attention because they reveal which natal planets can cooperate harmoniously with Jupiter during its annual journey.

If you have naturally benefic and well-placed planets in the two trine signs, you may have particularly supportive configurations for growth and opportunity. If you have Saturn or Mars there, the expansion may require more effort, discipline, or decisive action.

But remember: Jupiter does not create the same opportunities for everybody. It activates what is already written in your birth chart.

This is why investigating your individual planetary configuration is much more meaningful than reading a generic prediction based on your Sun sign.

A Jupiter year is not simply about waiting for good fortune. It is about recognizing where the opportunities are, understanding how they connect to your talents and circumstances, and knowing how to make the most of them.

Once we have an accurate birth time, the next step is to determine the most appropriate birth chart settings: the zodiac (Tropical or Sidereal) and the house system (Whole Sign, Placidus, or another system). As we teach in our course (link below), birth chart settings should be individualized rather than applied uniformly to everyone. The practice of using the same settings for every person overlooks the fact that different charts may describe individual lives more accurately under different configurations.

To identify the most appropriate settings, we must match the planetary significations with verifiable facts from the person’s life. Simply matching zodiac signs with personality traits can lead to incorrect conclusions because the same personality characteristic may be explained by several different planetary placements.

Venus and the First House: Physical Appearance

People magazine named Noah Wyle the Sexiest Man Alive in 2025, making his physical appearance an interesting starting point for our investigation. In astrology, Venus signifies beauty and attractiveness, while the First House represents the body, physical appearance, and how a person presents themselves to the world. We should therefore look for a connection between Venus and the First House.

In the Tropical zodiac, Wyle’s First House falls in Cancer ♋, whose ruler, the Moon ☽, is placed in Libra ♎, a sign ruled by Venus ♀. This creates a connection between Venus and the First House through the Moon and its placement in Venus-ruled Libra.

This is precisely the kind of planetary relationship we investigate when evaluating which birth chart settings best describe a person’s life.

The Sun in the Twelfth House: Separation from the Father

Our next task is to determine which house system provides the most convincing interpretation of Wyle’s life.

In the Placidus house system (left), the Sun ☉ falls in the Eleventh House. In the Whole Sign house system (right), it falls in the Twelfth House. Rather than deciding between these systems by comparing his personality, we must examine the biographical evidence.

In traditional astrology, the Sun signifies the father. According to biographical accounts, Wyle’s parents divorced when he was six years old, and he grew up living with his mother. His childhood therefore involved separation from his father.

The Twelfth House is associated with isolation, separation, and circumstances that distance a person from ordinary family and social life. The Sun placed in the Twelfth House therefore offers a correspondence with this biographical fact.

For this particular question, the Whole Sign house system appears to provide a more convincing interpretation than Placidus in this birth chart.

Mars in the Eighth House: A Career in Emergency Medicine

The Tenth House represents career, professional achievement, and public reputation. In Wyle’s chart, the Tenth House falls in Aries ♈, ruled by Mars.

Mars is associated with action, urgency, conflict, and situations requiring decisive intervention. The Eighth House, among its other significations, is associated with crises, surgery, and matters involving life-and-death situations.

The placement of the Tenth House ruler, Mars ♂, in the Eighth House is particularly interesting when we consider Wyle’s professional success.

He became widely known for playing Dr. John Carter in ER, the medical drama that premiered in 1994. The series portrayed the intense working environment of an emergency department, where medical professionals routinely faced critical injuries, urgent interventions, and life-threatening situations.

The biggest mistake you can make in dating is to adopt a Martian ♂ approach: identify your goal and go straight for it.

Mars is the planet of action, desire, ambition, and conquest. When you know what you want, Mars tells you to go out there and get it. In many areas of life, this is exactly the approach you need. If you want to start a business, win a competition, or complete a difficult project, you need the initiative and determination of Mars.

But dating is different. You can pursue a professional goal through planning, effort, and persistence. You cannot approach another human being in quite the same way. A relationship requires two people to develop a mutual interest, and no amount of determination can manufacture genuine attraction.

Nevertheless, many people approach dating as if they were trying to achieve a business objective. They use dating apps to search for a partner, filtering potential candidates by age, height, weight, profession, location, zodiac sign, and a long list of other preferences.

They begin with an image of the person they want to find and then search for someone who matches it. Every encounter becomes an opportunity to evaluate a candidate. Does this person meet my requirements? Are they attractive enough? Do they have the right job? Could I imagine marrying them?

This is the Martian ♂ approach in action. You have a goal, you define your criteria, and you try to reach the desired outcome as efficiently as possible.

The problem is that you cannot reduce human relationships to a selection process. You might find someone who meets every requirement on your list and discover that there is no chemistry between you. Conversely, you might meet someone who does not fit your preconceived idea of an ideal partner and discover a connection you never expected.

The more rigidly you pursue a specific outcome, the more likely you are to overlook opportunities that do not fit your expectations.

Mars pursues goals. Saturn builds systems.

In astrology, Mars and Saturn represent two very different approaches to life.

Mars wants results. It initiates action, overcomes resistance, and moves toward a target. Saturn, on the other hand, is associated with structure, discipline, consistency, and the systems we build over time.

Mars asks, What do I want to achieve?

Saturn asks, What kind of system do I need to build to make this possible?

If you want to find a partner, my recommendation is to stop treating dating as a goal you must accomplish and start treating it as a system you must develop.

Instead of asking yourself how to find the right person as quickly as possible, ask yourself a different question:

What kind of daily life would allow me to meet people, develop meaningful connections, and recognize a potential partner when I encounter one?

This is a fundamental change in perspective. You stop concentrating exclusively on the outcome and start building the conditions that make the outcome possible.

You cannot control when you will meet the right person. You can, however, control how you live, how you interact with others, and how often you expose yourself to new experiences.

That is where Saturn comes in.

1. Build the habit of talking to people every day

The first habit you should implement is simple: talk to people every day without having an agenda.

Go outside and engage with the world around you. Talk to people at a café, in a shop, at a park, at a social event, or wherever ordinary life brings you into contact with others.

Talk to children and the elderly, singles and parents, locals and foreigners, short people and tall people, those who appear rich and those who appear poor. Talk to people whose professions, backgrounds, interests, and appearances differ entirely from your own. Talk to everyone.

Of course, be respectful of people’s boundaries and the circumstances in which you meet them. Not everyone is available for a conversation, and learning to recognize that is part of developing social skills.

The point is not to approach every person as a potential romantic partner. It is precisely the opposite.

Your objective is to stop looking at every interaction as a means to an end.

When you talk to someone without wanting anything from them, you remove the pressure to impress, persuade, or obtain a particular result. You can simply be curious about another human being.

You might learn something interesting. You might discover a different perspective on life. You might share a laugh or hear a story you would never have encountered otherwise. Sometimes the conversation will last only a minute. Sometimes it will develop into a friendship.

Most encounters will not lead to romance, and that is perfectly fine.

You are not wasting your time. You are developing a habit that makes social interaction a natural part of your everyday life.

Over time, you may become more comfortable approaching strangers, asking questions, expressing your opinions, and listening to people whose experiences differ from yours. You will also become better at recognizing when another person is interested in continuing a conversation and when they would prefer to end it.

These are useful skills not only for dating but for every area of your life.

And because you are no longer trying to find a partner in every person you meet, you are less likely to overlook someone simply because they do not match your initial expectations.

We have previously introduced Kimberly Guilfoyle's birth chart following reports that she had allegedly offered access to Trump administration officials in exchange for financial assistance. On October 13, 2026, she resigned as U.S. ambassador to Greece after Trump asked her to step down.

Her life has been marked by reinvention, sudden career changes, divorces, break-ups, sexuality and dirty talk.

While attending the University of San Francisco School of Law, she worked as a lingerie and fashion model — including for Victoria’s Secret and Macy’s.

After law school, she worked as an Assistant District Attorney between San Francisco and Los Angeles. In 2001, at the age of 32, she married Gavin Newsom, who was already established in both business and local politics.

When Gavin Newsom ran for San Francisco mayor in 2003, she left her job as a prosecutor to assist her husband’s campaign for Mayor of San Francisco. The media portrayed Gavin Newsom and Kimberly Guilfoyle as an attractive, ambitious “power couple” with the potential to transform San Francisco politics. Their glamorous lifestyle, connections to the city’s wealthy and influential families, and shared public appearances helped create an image that Harper’s Bazaar would later compare to that of John F. Kennedy and Jacqueline Kennedy. Ultimately, Newsom won the election, and Guilfoyle became San Francisco’s “First Lady.”

Just days after Gavin Newsom’s mayoral inauguration, Kimberly Guilfoyle left San Francisco for New York to pursue a new career in television, hosting a program on Court TV. The timing is striking: after spending a year helping her husband win the mayoral election, she departed for the opposite coast almost as soon as he took office. The couple, once portrayed by the media as a glamorous political power couple, were now beginning separate professional lives in different cities.

In January 2005, the couple issued a joint statement announcing their separation, citing “the demands of our respective careers” as the reason they were unable to maintain the marriage.

The following year, she married businessman Eric Villency.

After gaining experience at Court TV, in 2006 she moved to Fox News, where she worked until 2018, during which time she rose from a legal analyst to a co-host of a prime-time show. In 2009, she divorced Eric Villency, after having a child.

In 2017, allegations of inappropriate workplace conduct involving her became the subject of an investigation.

In a report published by The New Yorker in 2020, her former assistant alleged that Guilfoyle, her direct supervisor, subjected her frequently to degrading, abusive, and sexually inappropriate behavior; among other things, she said that she was frequently required to work at Guilfoyle’s New York apartment while the Fox host displayed herself naked, and was shown photographs of the genitalia of men with whom Guilfoyle had had sexual relations. The draft complaint also alleged that Guilfoyle spoke incessantly and luridly about her sex life. Guilfoyle denied wrongdoing and left Fox News in July 2018.

Kimberly Guilfoyle has the Waning Moon and Mars exactly conjoined in Scorpio in the second house. This is the key house that explains her divorces, her sexual attitude, and the dirty talk. Both the Waning Moon and Mars are natural malefics.

That same year, Guilfoyle joined America First Action, a pro-Trump super PAC, as its vice chairwoman. She subsequently began dating Donald Trump Jr. (Don).

In April 2019, she formally joined Trump’s re-election campaign as a senior adviser. In December 2019 she took charge of fundraising for Trump Victory, the principal fundraising committee for major donors. Meanwhile, Trump Jr. proposed to Guilfoyle on New Year’s Eve 2020.

In 2024, Guilfoyle served on the Republican National Convention’s Platform Committee and delivered a speech at the convention.

She remained engaged to Trump Jr. until 2024, when their relationship reportedly began to deteriorate in the months leading up to the November presidential election.

After Trump won the election, photographs emerged of Trump Jr. with Bettina Anderson, a Palm Beach socialite. His relationship with Anderson effectively marked the end of his engagement to Guilfoyle.

Guilfoyle reportedly responded with denial, anger, and contempt toward her romantic rival (Waning Moon + Mars in Scorpio). In one reported attack, she called Anderson a “clout-chasing horror.”

Following the reported breakdown of her engagement to Donald Trump Jr., Trump nominated Guilfoyle to serve as U.S. ambassador to Greece in December 2024. The timing prompted speculation about whether the appointment was connected to developments in her personal life.

By January 2025, Guilfoyle appeared to have adopted a more conciliatory tone. In an interview with The New York Times, she spoke of her former fiancé: “I’m happy for Don. Of course, I wish him all the best.”

Astrocartography Analysis

How did someone who had previously faced allegations of inappropriate workplace conduct become a senior figure in a presidential campaign and subsequently a U.S. ambassador?

Until the Department of State and the Senate investigate the circumstances surrounding her appointment, we can only speculate about how thoroughly her background was scrutinized. What we can examine, however, is her astrocartography chart along the U.S. East Coast (see above chart), which accurately describes the circumstances surrounding her career, public standing, and reputation.

There, she has Pluto ♇ (reinvention), Uranus ♅ (sudden changes), and Jupiter ♃ (advancement) on the Midheaven (MC).

Kimberly Guilfoyle’s Greek tragedy began when she accepted the ambassadorship to Greece. As the astrocartography chart above shows, Greece lies near a challenging planetary crossing: Saturn ♄ on the Ascendant (brown line) and Pluto ♇ on the Descendant (black line). This combination, together with her natal Waning Moon conjunct Mars in Scorpio, indicates the potential for power struggles, confrontations, and difficulties in relationships, both personal and professional.

Media accounts described allegations of workplace outbursts and confrontational behavior.

• Embassy staff: According to media reports, some employees described her management style as “tyrannical.” Sources alleged that she frequently lost her temper and threatened subordinates with dismissal.

• Greek Energy Minister Stavros Papastavrou: According to a Wall Street Journal report, Guilfoyle made remarks at a dinner with Greek officials suggesting that the United States could bring about political change in any country. She was quoted as saying, “We can do that to any country we want. We can do that here.”

• Event organizers: According to media reports, Guilfoyle became angry after being excluded from a dinner associated with the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. She allegedly demanded to attend and used profane language, reportedly insisting that they “should be kissing my f---ing ass.”

These reports contributed to growing scrutiny of Guilfoyle's conduct. Lawmakers called for investigations, and the State Department's Office of Inspector General proceeded.

Some media accounts report that Greece was not her preferred diplomatic assignment. She had initially expressed interest in becoming U.S. ambassador to the Vatican, but was nominated to Greece instead.

Had she been appointed to Vatican City, where her Venus ♀ line crosses the Ascendant (green line), her experience would have been quite different. Under Venus's influence, probably her shadow side wouldn't have emerged, as Venus on the Ascendant favors social ease, personal appeal, diplomacy, and the ability to cultivate favorable relationships.

If Emmanuel Macron and Donald Trump have an empowered Mars in Leo, Giorgia Meloni has Mars ♂ exalted in Capricorn ♑. Once again, we see a political leader with a strong Mars: someone skilled at speaking forcefully in public, campaigning, and delivering sharp criticism.

Giorgia Meloni was enjoying a great life before becoming Prime Minister of Italy in October 2022. She was in a relationship with a handsome man with whom she shared a child, enjoying la dolce vita in Rome and riding around in her partner’s Porsche Carrera.

As leader of the opposition, all she had to do was show up in the Italian Parliament from time to time and unleash her Mars by forcefully denouncing the government in charge and accusing it of getting everything wrong.

Then the government collapsed, and she seized the opportunity to run for Prime Minister. She won the 2022 election and finally stepped into the nightmare she had signed up for.

Like Donald Trump and Emmanuel Macron, Meloni has a weak Saturn in her birth chart: Saturn ♄ retrograde in Leo ♌, a sign of its detriment. And like them, she has struggled to translate the forceful rhetoric of her political career into the results she promised. Her approval rating has reportedly declined to around 38%.

The biggest mistake she made was to stop fighting.

When you have a strong 6th house like Giorgia Meloni, your karma is to fight. Fight against inequality, fight against inefficiencies, fight against waste, fight against injustice, fight against disease, etc. The moment you stop fighting and become complacent with the system, problems come to you. Indeed, in the first year of her new role, Meloni’s partner was caught making lewd and sexually explicit comments to female colleagues. The video scandal was aired on Italian TV, and she was forced to end their nearly decade-long relationship.

If France's birth chart has Pluto and the North Node in the 11th house — indicating disruption — then Italy's birth chart has Pluto ♇ and the North Node ☊ in the 5th house, aspecting the 11th. One of the most fascinating applications of this approach is the Secondary Progressed Lunation Cycle, which follows the evolving relationship between the progressed Sun and the progressed Moon.

In this system, an individual’s life unfolds through a cycle lasting approximately 29 years. The beginning of a new cycle occurs at the Progressed New Moon, when the progressed Moon conjoins the progressed Sun. This marks the beginning of a new chapter in the individual’s life.

To interpret a Progressed New Moon, we can examine its zodiac sign, its house placement in the natal chart, and any conjunctions it makes with natal planets. These factors provide an astrological framework for understanding the themes that may characterize the entire cycle.

Prince Harry’s life offers an interesting case study.

Prince Harry's First Progressed Lunation Cycle: 1994–2023

The Progressed New Moon ☽☉ occurred in Libra ♎ in the tenth house from the Ascendant and the sixth house from the Moon. This placement suggests themes of public standing and authority, alongside potential emotional challenges and inner conflict (the sixth house from the Moon). Harry has described managing his mental health as “constant management.”

The cycle reached its final phase in 2020, when Harry entered the Balsamic phase of the Progressed Lunation Cycle—a period associated with closure, release, and the dissolution of an old identity. His decision to step back as a senior working royal and relocate to the United States reflects this period. The subsequent publication of his memoir Spare, in which he recounted private family disagreements, further reflects the themes associated with this phase: confronting unresolved experiences, breaking with the past, and bringing one chapter of life to a close.

Prince Harry’s Second Progressed Lunation Cycle

Prince Harry’s second Progressed Lunation Cycle began on 14 August 2023, at the age of 39. The Progressed New Moon ☽☉ occurred in the eleventh house, which is associated with friendships, professional networks, groups and collective aspirations.

After several years in the United States, however, Harry appeared to experience a degree of social isolation, at odds with the themes of his new cycle.

Numerous anonymous sources described Harry as lonely, adrift, or struggling to build a meaningful social circle in California. Some claimed he had “no life” and “no friends” there, with “no common ground with anyone,” and that he spent much of his time with bodyguards or at home.

Therefore, in August 2026, he returned to the UK, in keeping with the theme of the new cycle: rebuilding relationships, strengthening social ties, and cultivating a renewed sense of community.

Conclusion: Who Are You Becoming?

Rudhyar's Progressed Lunation Cycle offers a framework for understanding the changing themes and priorities that shape an individual's life.

Each cycle invites us to consider fundamental questions: Who am I becoming? What do I truly want? What am I ready to leave behind? And what new direction is beginning to emerge?

The Progressed Lunation Cycle encourages us to see life not as a fixed trajectory but as a succession of evolving chapters, each with its own challenges, possibilities, and lessons.
