pages turn, filled or unfilled

accumulated content, carries over or gets left behind

decide - wha’s worth carrying onto the next page or

wipe the slate clean, eliminate the clutter

pack up the boxes -

space - allows freedom - creativity

present moment full of opportunity

fill todays page - one for the memory book

hold the pencil - upright - write !

the skin flips outwards, expelling secrets

body of the inside visible

exposed, void of judgement

content of fresh understanding exhales

cells regenerating, circle back

layer upon layer healing

rejuvenated armour, the second skin

seals in protection, contrary to the outside world

noise from the outlived city / scratches

background layers of distraction / pull

polluting delicate ears

nature attempting to sooth / amplifies in song

wings flutter, wind sings in a soft melody

cicada’s pitch calms the ears

natures noise, a fortress of silence / encompassing

hot dusty pebbles, sunbaked by the noonday sun

delicate paper wings land in need of repair, open

displaying symmetrical patterns, painted

by the creator, vibrant turquoise, tips the fragile edge

dusty pebbles, regenerating sun, prepares the runway

as delicate paper wings flutter in anticipation

ultimately taking flight

poetic imagination encapsulates the mind

beauty surrounds the celestial plane

light as air, words breath upon the page

in delicate delivery, uncontrolled by ‘this world’

a heavenly vision– supernatural – hand delivered

spun from a silk web, strands of light – glisten

close your ears – truly listen -power lies in the silence

words echoing, too beautiful for the physical world

gathering heads lean forward, anticipating a new day

ornamental disposition smiles, towards a rising sun

brilliant red, paints each delicate petal

green leaves - holding – supporting

heads held high, claiming their placement

in an overcrowded world

here! - I stand upon solid ground

mind removed-

shimmering, golden light - held upon the trees tops

each leaf tipped in perfection - as hand painted

the body rests - pain subsides

here! - I stand on solid ground

forgetting what must come after …

Arijah Wings

The ominous grey silence deafening
stratus clouds, faithfully knowing their place hover
one angel high upon the roof grins
understanding this sphere intends to influence time

wings quiver, in anticipation of forthcoming travel
grey clouds, brush open, erasing earthly haze
power shudders along the golden feathers
igniting, launching off the slate roof

Arijah soaring, surveying the open fields
Suddenly! pivoting, transferring east to west
angelic breath falls as stardust, illuminating
spreading the emptiness wide open

penetrating earthly soil, in highest potential
fields of golden wheat, abundance forthcoming
Arijah’s giving breath, nurturing cultivating

earth, understanding partnership, smiles in gratitude
her seeds of abundance, distributed
a symphony of dance, that stopped time

one piece / held together by a single thread

outside the fringe of existence, the treasure hidden

a silent keeper / lexicographer protector

blanket of memories, pull the thread through

the aperture shall start again

as words lay in-waiting, letting their guard down

a day given, a new thread

gather / weave / be intentional

restitch each golden thread, heirloom of existence

held together by an invisible thread

white flakes feather upon the ground

crystal layers of individuality

one by one, gathering

free will drops upon the earth

feather by feather

blanketing in pure white

layers of filth – washed

purity paints a picture

masterpiece of disguise

today – earth fell quiet

one by one, gathering

window gazing into pure white

white haze kisses the center, no beginning - no end

forward trail encouraging

each stride thanks the one before

familiar rhythm - soothing

elevation unaware - lungs expelling

legs indicating a change

perspiration glows across the brow, in a wave of satisfaction

The Next Crest - pulses - calling !

ten toes linger, cotton dust caressing

head placed in the stars

have you walked here before, suspended in the atmosphere?

today ~ tomorrow , shall arrive

challenges in toe

linger here ~ caressed, in this gentle moment

held here ~ safe, in this gentle moment

breath in the healing air

cloud caressed, suspended amongst the stars

items placed in visual effect, twisted, polished

perfection laughs as the stale room air / chokes

performance highlights the evening hour

character played, lines rehearsed, spilling from a painted face

this plot memorized / performance on repeat

character in someone else’s story

…

“To each their own”, the saying goes

opinions, perfection, are not your master

rearrange the items, untwist the plot

your true character / not an act

Exit ~ stage left

wipe the paint off, set the stage – rewrite!

you hold the pencil

tips of red paint the edge

green attempts to hold onto the past

as time waits for no one

all foliage shall fall

leaving a barren landscape – echoing

sleeps melancholy – hums natures lullaby

trees in partnership

mother nature – cradles

time waits for no one

seasons change as years fall

white crested waves, creating circular splashes

an ebb and flow, natures release

rotation, a force, divine rhythm of choice

wind duration, transferring energy

wave maker, technician, director

movement, divine art, creation

be still. release - open your eyes - believe

earth's flawless rhythm - dancing

timekeeper of the sea - romancing
