Like Woodstock or Coachella, you just had to be there.

Will Rahn, Douglas Murray, Audrey Fahlberg, Susy Weiss, Yemisi Ebewole, Tricia McLaughlin, Meghan McCain, Kevin Walling, and Erick Erickson joined a remarkable cast of voices as the results rolled in. Yemisi had a smile as big as the moon. And former DHS spokesperson Tricia McLaughlin acknowledged that “those third-party candidates are a factor.”

We tracked the results as they came in, putting them in context and bringing the 2WAY community directly into the conversation. The result was an evening of news, analysis, surprises, and plenty of fun.

Then we turned to what comes next: the next chapter in Washington, the implications for impeachment, appointments, and the road to 2028.

This was, by any measure, a Blue Tsunami. Just how far it reaches — and what it ultimately means — will take days to fully understand.

But one thing is certain: It was a night worth being part of. And if you were there, you know.

Meghan McCain kicked off election night with a special pre-show hour of “Citizen McCain,” setting the stage for the night ahead.

From the Senate seats Democrats have a real chance of flipping to the strongest arguments for a potential blue tsunami, I examine the races, issues, and political dynamics that could shape tonight’s results.

I also look at the vulnerabilities facing Republicans, from the economy and gas prices to the Iran war and White House renovations. Which candidates are hitting the right notes, and who’s stumbling at the goal line?

Kevin thinks Democrat Troy Jackson could make things interesting in Maine. Larry disagrees, but he has his own big bet on Ohio’s Jon Husted. And when it comes to election night, Larry and Kevin have very similar approaches — with one thing at the top of Larry’s mind: turnout.

2WAY TODAY

On the eve of the midterms, former Congressman Garret Graves and Third Way’s Matt Bennett joined me on “2WAY Tonight” to assess the battleground map, the state of both parties, and what voters could have in store tomorrow.

Garrett offered a candid assessment of his party, saying he believes the House is a lost cause for Republicans while the Senate remains unpredictable.

We also examined Haley Stevens’ defection from the Democrats, and the growing distance some Democrats in Michigan and beyond are putting between themselves and Abdul El-Sayed. Matt explained how the controversy has become a source of frustration within the party, particularly over what he described as a political headfake.

“I have respect for people who exercise independent thought,” Garrett declared.

Plus, Bruce Springsteen has picked his man in Michigan.

With close contests across several states, we took one final look at the polls, the candidates, and the dynamics shaping the races before voters head to the ballot box.

Then Don Scott, candidate for Bedford Town Supervisor, joined us to share details on his less than $50 AI campaign.

Election Day is here. We break it all down on 2WAY Tonight.

How has the Haley Stevens switcheroo changed the dynamics of the Michigan Senate race? What will happen in Texas, Kansas, and Minnesota? We don’t know the answers just yet, but we did our best to lay out the latest reporting, polling, and closing arguments from the campaigns as voters prepare to head to the polls.

Audrey Fahlberg of The Free Press joined us to break down the races, while members of the 2WAY community brought invaluable insights from their own communities across the country.

One day to go. We covered the map, heard what voters are saying, and examined what to watch as the results begin rolling in.

2WAY TODAY

Larry, Kevin, and I kicked things off with an exclusive interview with California Gov. Gavin Newsom. We asked him about Rep. Haley Stevens’ decision to endorse Rep. Mike Rogers in Michigan and how Democrats can navigate the divisions within their own party.

Then, Rep. Mike Lawler joined us just days before voters in his New York district head to the polls, with control of Congress hanging in the balance.

From there, we turned to the races shaping the national conversation, hearing from the reporters who have been following these campaigns on the ground through their final stretch.

NewsNation’s Leland Vittert, Amie Parnes of The Hill, and local reporters Libbey Dean, Rick Albin, and Rebekah Chung joined us to share what they’re seeing and hearing in the places that could help decide the midterms.

From Kansas to Texas, Michigan to New York, we covered the candidates, the campaigns, and the dynamics worth watching as the final hours of the 2026 midterms unfold.

A few more sleeps until the results. This is a conversation you won’t want to miss.

First, we share our EXCLUSIVE interview with California Gov. Gavin Newsom, including his reaction to today’s events in Michigan and his feelings about the possibility of a Blue tsunami.

We’ll take stock of where things stand heading into Election Day, what we’re hearing from the campaign trail, and what to watch as voters make their decisions.

Plus, Rep. Mike Lawler drops by.

As always, this is more than a broadcast. It’s a chance for the 2WAY community to join the conversation, ask questions, and share what you’re watching.

Tonight on “2WAY Tonight,” I was joined by Katy Balls and Alex Isenstadt to compare notes from the campaign trail, looking at races from South Carolina to Kansas, Texas to Michigan, and beyond.

Democrats and Republicans are talking up the possibility of a massive wave — a remarkable political reversal just two years after Republicans’ 2024 victory. But party affiliation only tells part of the story. Incumbents are facing challenges, long-serving members of Congress are confronting an electorate with different expectations, and redrawn districts have reshaped the political map while adding another layer of uncertainty.

All of that makes this an extraordinarily difficult election to predict, poll, and parse. And as we head into the final stretch, one thing is clear: coming close isn’t the same as winning. Narrowing a gap may be meaningful, but it won’t necessarily be enough to change the outcome. That’s what makes Tuesday night so difficult to handicap — and so compelling to watch.

Join us Tuesday, November 3, for 2WAY x The Free Press Election Night coverage, LIVE & INTERACTIVE from 8pm ET to midnight.

Election Day is almost here, and the prediction markets are giving us plenty to talk about.

On today’s new episode of “Next Up Predictions,” I break down the biggest Senate races and what the markets are telling us heading into the final stretch. From the rapidly shifting contests in Alaska and Kansas to the possibility of a Democratic wave reaching deep into the South or Midwest, there’s a lot to unpack.

I’m joined by Doug Sosnik and Liam Donovan for a debate over where traders are finding value, which races are moving, and where the markets may be misreading the political landscape.

Bill Speros, Senior Prediction Market Analyst at RotoWire, also joins me to dig into the numbers, including the closely watched Senate contests in Texas and Michigan, and explain what traders are watching as Election Day approaches.

Plus, the “Next Up” team weighs in on the races we’ll be watching most closely. Could South Carolina become competitive? And what’s actually happening on the ground in Maine?

The polls, the markets, and the people closest to these races are all telling a story. Let’s get into it.

Larry, Kevin, and I looked at the final stretch of the campaign trail as candidates make their closing pitches to midterm voters.

Kevin sees momentum building for Democrats, pointing to another shift in the Cook Political Report’s race ratings in their favor and President Trump spending valuable time playing defense in traditionally red territory.

Larry isn’t ready to call it. Insisting that panic has never won anyone an election, and no votes have been counted.

It’s true. None of these states are in the bag.

We crisscrossed the political map, traded our winners and losers of the week, and heard from the 2WAY community as viewers shared what they’re seeing on the ground and what they’re hearing as they head to the polls in their own communities.

2WAY TODAY

In my reported monologue, I shared what I’m hearing inside some Republican circles: a sense of unease, difficult choices for candidates, and polls telling a story many in the party don’t want to hear.

From Texas and Georgia to Ohio and Kansas, Republicans are expressing deep, dark concern.

Democratic strategist Michael LaRosa and The Daily Wire’s DC Bureau Chief Tim Rice joined me to dig into those questions. Tim made the case for outsiders, while Michael argued Democrats made a mistake with Abdul El-Sayed in Michigan. We also discussed Mike Rogers’ stronger-than-expected debate performances and which candidates have successfully defined themselves in the final stretch.

Plus, we traced President Trump’s rally alongside Sen. Lindsey Graham in South Carolina, Kamala Harris’s appearance with Sen. Jon Ossoff in Georgia, and more from the campaign trail.

We use the good ones as one indicator of where things stand as the races approach the finish line.

Right now, I’m putting the odds of a Blue tsunami at around 40%. Republicans are seeing the same data, and some within the party are getting nervous. Larry isn’t one of them.

This isn’t about cherry-picking CNN polls to distract our audience. It’s about taking the private polling numbers we see seriously while recognizing their limitations. Larry makes a familiar argument: Polls have been flawed in recent years, often undercounting Trump voters, and bad-looking numbers can be used to depress turnout.

“They could be good for Democrats, which also means they couldn’t.”

We hear him. But with Election Day just days away, the data tells a story worth examining, even if it doesn’t tell the whole story.

“I don’t think it will affect the race,” Kevin says of the accusations of dirty tricks by Democrats in Alaska.

We also checked in on Kansas, where Republican Sen. Roger Marshall and Democrat Ethan Hamilton are locked in a tight race, and Michigan, where antisemitism continues to plague the AES race, among other key contests.

All that and more on another episode of “The Morning Meeting.”
