I spent time conversing with Matthew Geiger, a teacher at the Menger Institute for Market Economics and host of the Menger Institute’s podcast.

He is also a PhD candidate in Economics at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos in Madrid, where his research examines the economics of suicide. His work explores how monetary and political institutions distort individual sovereignty.

Matthew is a Hazlitt Fellow with the Foundation for Economic Education.

Joyce Brand is a Governance Architect, author of Pioneering Prosperity: The Morazán Model for Free Cities, and creator of the Consent Architecture Framework, a methodology for evaluating the structural viability of emerging jurisdictions. Her work focuses on a question that has become increasingly important as new cities, special jurisdictions, and startup societies emerge around the world: what makes a new jurisdiction structurally viable—and capable of surviving political pressure?

Drawing on her experience living in Ciudad Morazán, Honduras, and her work with founders and investors developing new jurisdictions, Joyce studies governance as something that can be designed, tested, and improved rather than simply inherited.

She writes and speaks internationally about free cities, voluntary governance, and the institutional structures that allow emerging jurisdictions to survive political pressure and endure over time. She writes about these ideas at Free Cities Substack and is currently writing The Sovereign Network, a book about the emerging architecture of governance beyond the traditional nation-state.

I can’t thank Mark Puls enough for inviting me on his show again. We went through my experiences at Larken’s recent event in Sedona, Arizona, called “Approaching Humanity”.

I particularly enjoyed the part of our discussion where we did a bit of a philosophical question-and-answer. We were talking about libertarian activism, strategy and messaging; we stepped away from the details of the “how”, and dove deep into the “why”. I’d be interested in your comments about that.

What are the actual psychological triggers within propaganda that enable the state to maintain the belief of political authority?

Philip Bodeswell joins me to discuss his groundbreaking online book, “The Narcissist State”.

Few thinkers have explored the eerie parallels between living breathing narcissists, and how statist propaganda manages to manipulate minds. No, it’s not narcissistic Bond villains rubbing their hands in glee. It’s the natural systemic outcome of statism. How the myth of political authority makes our minds vulnerable to well-understood narcissistic dynamics.

But it’s not merely descriptive. Philip seeks to empower the individual…to become aware of the dynamic and be mentally on guard. And he provides useful guidance that parallels the healthy ways to deal with real-life narcissism: exit strategies.

In this episode I explain the foundational reasoning and evidence that supports one of the most profound White Pills to come out of my podcast: that we have already started the transition to a free society. And that this is not only tangibly evident, but virtually unstoppable.

First, I spend time explaining how there are different interpretations of the term “White Pill”. A common one, which I reject, is that it means a generally optimistic attitude...a “glass half full” perspective. Sorry, that’s not what qualifies, in my book. Rather, my White Pills are based on evidence and logic. In other words, real world reasons for hope. At least for me, this is a more solid grounding in declaring something a White Pill.

Then I explain exactly why we have commenced the transition to a free society. Not based on an optimistic feeling. But based on real world empirical evidence, basic psychology, logical thinking, and solid cause-and-effect reality.

I thoroughly enjoyed conversing with film director Andrew Treglia.

Drew has directed 4 feature films, including the cult classic Jones Plantation and his Documentary to End All Documentaries - Barnum World.

His podcast is called “Maverick in The Machine”, and you can find it on his main website, his YouTube Channel and his Substack page.

We covered lots of ground, including cinema as a unique art form. Drew doesn’t hold back as he discusses the status of film today, state propaganda, and public indoctrination. But wait for it...Drew sprinkles in a few white pills of his own!
