No, but seriously, this was a huge update, and I’m exhausted. It’s been day after day of work to make sure I’ve covered everything at each level. I am happy with the progress that has been made; I feel good about the rankings going into the 2026-2027 offseason, and I’m really excited to get back to writing again, something I haven’t done much of. As with all rankings, I do my best to capture the biggest risers and fallers in each group. Next up is the Dynasty 600!

DYNASTY 600 RANKINGS

DYNASTY BY POSITION

RISERS

Sebastian Walcott, SS, TEX

Walcott is not only one of the most talented prospects in the game, but he’s a foundational piece to your dynasty teams. After missing much of 2026 following Tommy John surgery, the 20-year-old performed well in limited action at Double-A and Triple-A, batting .325 with 10 homers and 13 steals in 41 games. Walcott then went out to the Arizona Fall League and has continued to rake. In 13 games, he’s batting .316 with six doubles, a homer, and nine steals. Walcott has elite power and speed, paired with outstanding bat-to-ball skills and athleticism, making him a true five-category contributor and an elite dynasty asset, evidenced by his inclusion as a Top 60 player.

Christian Scott, SP, NYM

Scott quietly impressed over 110 IP in 2026, his first full season since Tommy John surgery. The 27-year-old posted a 3.85 ERA with nearly 11 Ks per nine and showed improved command. His stuff was excellent, generating a swinging-strike rate of over 13%, with all three of his primary pitches grading out above average, according to PitcherList PLV. Beyond his bat-missing ability, Scott should also benefit from an extreme fly-ball profile in Citi Field. His home park ranked 20th in Park Factor in 2026 and below average in all offensive categories. Scott is firmly the #2 SP for the Mets in 2027 and should be considered a Top 30 SP in dynasty.

Mason Montgomery, RP, PIT

After not panning out as a starter in the Rays’ system, Mason Montgomery shifted to the bullpen in 2024 and has now become one of the best relievers in baseball last season, where he finished as the Pirates’ closer. Montgomery really improved his walk rate, cutting it by 3.5% while also seeing a boom in his strikeout rate, moving from 30.1% in 2025 to 37.8% this year. The 26-year-old left-hander has premium stuff, generating a swinging strike rate of nearly 15% with a 32.7% CSW. Montgomery uses four pitches, which is a deep arsenal for a closer, giving him even more room for error. On an improving club and with three years left before arbitration, there’s no reason to believe anyone else is the closer in Pittsburgh, which makes Montgomery an elite dynasty asset at the position.

Garrett Mitchell, OF, MIL

I’ve been burned so many times by Brewers outfielder Garrett Mitchell, but the skill set is so enticing that it’s hard to look away. The 26-year-old finally sustained health this season, playing in a career-high 145 games with 11 homers and 13 steals. His surface stats don’t scream star, but the tools are very loud. Mitchell is an elite athlete with above-average speed and power. His quality of contact was outstanding this year, posting an average EV of nearly 93mph with a 12% barrel and 52% hard-hit rate. The underlying concern with Mitchell is the hit tool, which remains well below average with an overall contact rate of just 67.4%. He also ran a groundball rate of nearly 56%, the highest of his career. Mitchell is unlikely to be a high-contact hitter, but if he can lift the ball more than he did in 2026, this bat can produce a 25+ homer season.

FALLERS

Manny Machado, 3B, SDP

Machado has been the gold standard at the third base position for over a decade, but he had a rough 2026. In his age-33 season, Machado hit just .217 with 30 homers, but only five steals. The power numbers were fine overall, though each metric ticked down a bit year over year. Machado will hit for power, but he doesn’t necessarily have to hit for average, with an increased fly ball rate and lower-quality contact data. He also didn’t run as often last season, something that could be a sign of things to come. I’m not fully writing off Machado as a fantasy asset, but the cliff is approaching, and his performance should remain fully on your radar in 2027.

Logan Webb, SP, SFG

Webb has never been a fantasy ace per se, but he was damn good for a very long time. He never looked right in 2026, finishing 8-9 with a career-worst 4.31 ERA. Webb’s strikeout rates spiked in 2025, but returned to just 20.1%, averaging less than a K per inning. Webb turns 30 in a few weeks and has very little margin of error to be an above-average fantasy pitcher. If the ERA stays north of 4.00 with inferior strikeout rates, the volume you’ve received from Webb suddenly becomes more of a detriment than a benefit. Webb remains a Top 200 dynasty asset, but has now fallen outside my Top 50 SPs.

Bubba Chandler, SP, PIT

Chandler has some of the best arm talent in the Majors, but his 2026 didn’t necessarily reflect that. In his first full season, Chandler posted a 4.50 ERA over 154 IP but averaged less than a strikeout per inning. His stuff didn’t grade out well, with only his changeup scoring above a 5.0 (league average) on PLV. Chandler mustered just a 10% swinging strike and 26.3% CSW, each of which ranked in the bottom third of the league. Command was certainly part of the issue, as Chandler walked almost 12% of the hitters he faced and was in the zone just 44% of the time. With just 120 MLB innings under his belt, Chandler is far from a lost cause, so don’t get me wrong. I’m just tempering expectations until I see additional growth and development from the talented right-hander.

Francisco Alvarez, C, NYM

With a suddenly deep crop of catchers on the dynasty landscape, Alvarez’s lack of health and production has pushed him down the board. The 24-year-old has missed time in all four of his MLB seasons, including a torn meniscus this past season. Despite the injury, he did play in 113 games, batting .233 with 16 homers. His power could make him a 25+ homer bat, but Alvarez will never hit for average and won’t run either. With 2027 on the horizon, the best outcome for Alvarez is a full season of solid production with no health issues. Until then, he’s moving down.

Four-Seam Fantasy is a reader-supported publication. As with all rankings, I do my best to capture the biggest risers and fallers in each group, starting with the Prospect 400.

PROSPECT 400 RANKINGS

PROSPECT 400 by POSITION

TOP 15 PROSPECTS BY TEAM

RISERS

Leo Bernal, C, STL

Bernal entered 2026 lost in the catcher shuffle within the Cardinals’ organization. At the Major League level, they had Ivan Herrera, Pedro Pages, and Yohel Pozo, with top prospect Rainiel Rodriguez, along with Bernal and Jimmy Crooks, all in the upper minors. By the end of the season, Bernal was the top catcher at the MLB level and the odds-on favorite to be their primary guy in 2027. The biggest change year-over-year for Bernal was that his bat excelled, closing the gap from a glove-first profile to a well-rounded player. At Triple-A, Bernal slashed .278/.363/.468 with 16 homers, 19 doubles, and nine steals in his age-22 season. Upon his promotion to the Majors, the bat was just as impressive. In a small 24-game sample, he added five more homers and 21 RBI, bringing his total to 98 across two levels this season. All of the batted-ball metrics supported his performance, with a particular emphasis on his quality of contact. Bernal averaged over 92mph with a 55.7% hard-hit rate without sacrificing contact or his approach. His walk rate dipped by 5% in the Majors, but that’s to be expected. Overall, Bernal is comfortably a Top 100 prospect with plenty of dynasty value entering his first full season in 2027.

David Hagaman, SP, ARI

Hagaman has been on my radar for quite some time, but I never really dug too far into the profile. When I did, I found an outstanding bat-misser with premium stuff and the physicality to sustain a starter’s workload. In 2026, the 6’4” right-hander logged 106 2/3 innings across two levels, averaging over 11 Ks per nine with a 2.87 ERA. The 23-year-old uses his frame well, gaining an advantage by reaching nearly 7 feet of extension and letting his stuff play up. His four-seam fastball is an outlier in his arsenal. He routinely sits in the mid-90s with elite iVB, posting over 18in of movement. Hagaman pairs that with two plus, or better, secondaries: a curve and a changeup. He still has work to do with command and control, but the stuff speaks for itself. Hagaman is a top-of-the-rotation caliber arm and should be viewed in that light for dynasty.

Yostin Pena, OF, NYY

Pena was among the top DSL breakouts this season, posting eight homers and 27 steals in 37 games before coming stateside and playing 24 games in Low-A. All told, he hit .354 with 14 homers and 37 steals across two levels and 61 games. His 12% walk rate was just a hair lower than a 14% strikeout clip as the teenager showed strong skills at the plate. Pena impressed with his quality of contact at Low-A, averaging over 90mph with a max EV of over 114mph. If there’s one early concern in his profile, it’s that Pena tends to chase, although early on he’s shown the contact skills to support that aggression while maximizing his quality of contact.

FALLERS

Michael Arroyo, 2B, SEA

I’ve gone back and forth on Arroyo over the past two seasons, trying to decide whether his offensive profile is legit and how it will translate to the next level. After a tough season at AA Arkansas, Arroyo performed better in 2026, batting .283 with 18 homers and 17 steals. The 22-year-old made his MLB debut late in the season, batting .371 in 15 games. Under the hood, Arroyo is a mixed bag. He thrives with his plate skills, making quality swing decisions, showing advanced pitch recognition, and making plenty of contact. BUT, his quality of contact is quite low and has never been more than league average. In that ballpark, he’ll need to hit for more power, and I don’t think he’s got the juice. I think Arroyo can hit for average and run enough to be a viable middle-infield option in deeper leagues, but the upside isn’t what I hoped.

Ethan Conrad, OF, CHC

I’m taking a step back on Conrad. Injuries kept him out for a good chunk of 2026, and when he returned, it was pretty meh. I was hopeful that his power would tick up as a pro, and maybe it will with a healthy back, but if not, the ceiling is lower. He also likely won’t run as much as I hoped, which is discouraging. I was hoping for a low-end Kyle Tucker profile: power, speed, and a solid batting average. Ultimately, we may be looking more at a Sal Frelick-type profile with a slightly lower batting average.

Blake Mitchell, C, KCR

Mitchell has incredible upside and a high ceiling, as shown by a 23-homer, 27-steal campaign in 2026. He draws a ton of walks with his passivity, but it also masks a considerable swing-and-miss issue in his profile. The 21-year-old has routinely posted strikeout rates in the upper-20s to low-30s even at lower levels, including a return stint at High-A. Those concerns raise a big red flag and give him a very low floor as a dynasty asset. In addition, prospect Ramon Ramirez is far ahead of him defensively and is arguably a more well-rounded offensive profile with a higher floor.

Santiago Suarez, SP, TBR

Suarez is a high-floor arm, but that floor isn’t too far from his ceiling. The 21-year-old has shown outstanding command and control in his career, but the lack of strikeouts is becoming a concern. In 2026, Suarez posted just a 19% strikeout rate, totaling just 99 Ks in 126 innings at Double-A. That’s down from back-to-back 25.7% K rates in 2024 and 2025,, as Suarez leaned into ground balls this season instead of whiffs. Given the quality of his stuff, which is good but not plus, Suarez feels more like a back-end rotation option or a bulk reliever, especially in that organization.

Four-Seam Fantasy is a reader-supported publication. We’ve seen players blocked in one system move on, find new homes, and thrive with newfound playing time. Think of Michael Busch and Miguel Vargas, two Dodgers prospects with no clear path to playing time with the NL West powerhouse, who then became All-Stars on the North and South Side of Chicago, respectively. These are just two recent examples, but there are many more. Even though an organization drafts and develops a player, that doesn’t mean the player is best suited for that system. With that in mind, I’ve identified a handful of my Top 400 prospects who could benefit from a fresh start in 2027 for one reason or another. Remember, this is just an exercise exploring possibilities, not the end-all, be-all for these guys. Most still carry prospect value and would likely be considered hard to acquire in trades.

James Tibbs III, OF, LAD

Tibbs is already in his third pro organization: drafted by the Giants, traded to Boston in the Raffy Devers deal, then traded to the Dodgers for Dustin May. But he’s the most common name you’ll find among prospects needing a new place to call home. It’s simple: the Dodgers roster elite talent at the MLB and MiLB levels, and he’s way down the pecking order. Entering the offseason, Andy Pages, Teoscar Hernandez, and Kyle Tucker are all under contract, while Josue de Paula, Mike Sirota, Zach Ehrhard, and eventually Eduardo Quintero are all MLB-ready. The team was so deep at the position that it traded Zyhir Hope to the Tigers for Tarik Skubal without batting an eye. Tibbs had a monster season in 2026, batting .287 with 30 homers and 10 steals at Triple-A Oklahoma City. He also set new career highs in HR, RBI, runs, walk rate, wRC+, OBP, and SLG. Even though it matters little in a star-studded LA lineup, Tibbs is a below-average corner outfielder, further reducing his likelihood of being an impact player for them in 2027. Unless they want to stockpile prospects and keep him blocked entering his age-24 season, Tibbs should be playing elsewhere in 2027.

Blake Burke, 1B, MIL

Fresh off a World Series title less than 24 hours ago, the Brewers are already looking ahead to a big offseason filled with very difficult decisions. 2026 hero Jake Bauers is a free agent at 1B, leaving Andrew Vaughn as the incumbent if the Brewers bring him back in arbitration. Behind him are two first-base prospects playing at Triple-A Nashville: Blake Burke and Luke Adams. The two have similar builds and overlapping fantasy profiles. Burke is a 23-year-old slugger who hit 34 homers and stole 29 bases across two levels in 2026, his second full season as a pro. Adams was banged up for part of the season, but finished with 16 homers, 8 steals, and a .423 OBP. Each is an impact bat with more offensive traits than defensive skills, so the bat will need to be the differentiator. It comes down to the organization’s preference, but I lean Adams. His plate skills are far better, drawing walks at a very high clip with almost no chase and above-average bat-to-ball skills. That formula, quality at-bats and drawing walks while prioritizing contact, is what won them their first World Series. To muddy the water even more, Andrew Fischer, a 50-homer bat in Double-A this season, is defensively underwhelming at 3B, making him a long-term first baseman as well. Ultimately, Fischer is probably their 1B, so Adams and Burke are essentially competing for at-bats as a DH or spelling Fischer at first.

Luis Pena, 2B/SS, MIL

Pena is a Top 30 (sometimes higher) prospect in most circles and at one point in 2025, was neck and neck with #1 overall prospect Jesus Made. Made separated himself with consistent power and the ability to stay healthy, something Pena struggled with in 2026. Cooper Pratt showed this postseason why he earned a contract extension before playing at Double-A and has the defensive chops to play SS or 3B. Where Pratt doesn’t play, Jesus Made will. Then you have 2B, where Brice Turang is under team control until 2030, when he first becomes an unrestricted free agent. We also need to consider that David Hamilton is a versatile defender who can also play super utility infield, and they acquired Jett Williams, who offers a similar skill set. Assuming the Brewers don’t want to break up their WS-winning infield, that leaves Pena on the outside looking in. Yes, he’s still at Double-A, but he’s also a very talented prospect with a ton of trade value. So much so that he was reportedly the key piece in the Brewers’ trade offer for Tarik Skubal this summer. I’m not saying the Brewers will trade Pena, but given their middle-infield depth, it feels more likely than not that they could move him.

Devin Fitz-Gerald, 2B, WSH

The Nats acquired Fitz-Gerald this past offseason in the Mackenzie Gore trade, and he’s fresh off his best pro season, though he tailed off in the second half. In 2026, he hit .251 with 20 homers and 15 steals across two levels, quickly climbing into the Top 100 overall as a prospect. But his path to playing time in DC is pretty blocked. All-Star CJ Abrams is moving to second base this offseason, letting prospect Seaver King take over as the team’s primary shortstop. Behind King is top prospect Eli Willits, the #1 overall pick from 2025, who reached Double-A at 18 this past season. The Nationals also drafted Chris Hacopian in the first round of the 2026 draft, a collegiate shortstop with an advanced bat that could be fast-tracked to the Majors. Third base remains a question mark, but prospect Yohandy Morales has played well in the Minors, and the system still includes former top prospect Brady House. My gut says Fitz-Gerald is a piece that could be moved this offseason, and it would greatly increase his fantasy value by giving him a more-defined path to the Show.

Max Anderson, 2B, DET

Of all the players on this list, Anderson is the one guy who SHOULD be an MLB regular in 2027, and he should be the primary 2B with the Tigers. BUT will that happen? An early-season injury limited Anderson for the first month, but he then performed very well at Triple-A Toledo. The 24-year-old hit .302 with 17 homers and reached base at a .386 clip. Anderson is a patient hitter with advanced pitch recognition, solid bat-to-ball skills, and enough pop to hit double-digit homers consistently. He also plays 3B, adding versatility. If the Tigers aren’t planning to use Anderson in 2027, I hope they trade him to a team where he could easily be an everyday 2B in the majors.

Cooper Ingle, C/OF, CLE

The Guardians had the chance to use Ingle as their backup catcher in 2026, especially after Bo Naylor’s early struggles. Instead, they acquired Patrick Bailey from the Giants, paired him with veteran backup Austin Hedges, and moved Ingle to the outfield. Ingle was fine at his new position, but he’s still a serviceable defender behind the plate and offers a high offensive floor. 2026 was his best year as a prospect, batting .297 with 20 homers and 26 doubles and posting a 151 wrC+ at Triple-A Columbus. Bailey isn’t going anywhere, and with Hedges returning regularly, Ingle doesn’t seem likely. In a perfect world, they’ll trade him to a team where he can settle in as an everyday MLB catcher, or at least a backup who can play C, 1B, or the OF, and we can get that fantasy bat in our lineup.

Ty Johnson, P, TBR

Johnson has three consecutive seasons with an excellent ERA and WHIP, while averaging over 12K per nine as a starter in the Minors. That includes his 2026 season, when he posted a 3.03 ERA and 0.96 WHIP over 62 1/3 innings, some of which came in the bullpen. The Rays moved him to the bullpen for additional pitching help down the stretch, and they don’t appear to be moving him back to the rotation. With that in mind, I want them to trade Johnson this offseason. Even though he’s a two-pitch pitcher, fastball and slider, the 24-year-old is effective. He had a 34.3% strikeout rate in 2026, down from 34.7% the season prior. Johnson got whiffs at a 36.4% rate, with a chase rate over 30% and a swinging strike rate over 16%. The 6’6” right-hander has had success at every level, and I’m confident he can stick as a back-end starter in the Majors, hopefully somewhere other than Tampa if they’re not going to use him in that role.

Tyson Lewis, SS, CIN

Lewis has some of the louder tools in the Minors, but a lack of contact skills has significantly slowed his progress and pushed his prospect value way down. The 6’1” shortstop has all the physical tools, including plus speed and elite power data, evidenced by a max EV of over 117mph. If it all clicks, he could be an elite fantasy producer. Unfortunately, it hasn’t come together, and the current floor is much lower and more likely than his ceiling. I doubt the Reds would willingly unload that type of talent because of early struggles, but, thinking aloud, I wonder if a change of scenery could help the talented infielder.

Blake Mitchell, C, KCR

Three-plus years into his pro career, former 8th overall pick Blake Mitchell has had a roller-coaster experience. His raw tools are exceptional, including his power and plate discipline. Mitchell has consistently posted walk rates in the mid-teens to low-20s and has flashed batted-ball data approaching the top end for his position. But his biggest problem, like Lewis, is contact skills. In 2026, he ran a sub-60% contact rate in High-A with a 15.8% swinging strike rate. Even though he’s patient, it’s a very boom-or-bust, three-true-outcome profile. Injuries haven’t helped either, as Mitchell has missed time with leg injuries and a broken hamate bone suffered in 2025. Carter Jensen is the catcher of the present and future in Kansas City, and the team can bridge the gap until prospect Ramon Ramirez is ready, which could be in 2028. They may keep Mitchell because of his upside and the lack of other standout catchers in their pipeline, but they could also move him to an organization that could try to fix his swing, putting him on a fast track to the Majors.

Four-Seam Fantasy is a reader-supported publication. The Gambler wasn’t playing 5x5 roto, but was clearly on to something. Selling high on players is one of the most challenging parts of dynasty and fantasy baseball. You’ll either look like a genius when regression hits the breakout, or look foolish when that player becomes a multi-year fantasy monster. Most often, there is no in between. Entering the 2027 offseason, here are a few players you should consider moving off of following their career years.

Jordan Walker, OF, STL

Walker has the most potential on this list, and it’s not close. After three disappointing campaigns to open his pro career, Walker came alive in his age-24 season, batting .269 with 29 homers and 22 steals, along with eclipsing the 100-RBI plateau for the first time. Under the hood, you see career highs in nearly every metric, including a 92.6mph average EV, a 13% barrel rate, and a 50% hard-hit rate. Then you remember Walker was once a first-round draft pick, is only 24, has four MLB seasons of experience, and has no injury history to speak of. Digging deeper, you find a 26% strikeout rate, his best career mark, and one of the main drivers of his early struggles. What could go wrong, right?

Then you get into his 2026 splits. In his first 93 games, Walker hit .294 with 22 of his 29 homers and 13 of his 22 steals, posting an OPS of .887 and a 143 wRC+. Over the final 65 games, it was a .234 average with 7 HR and 9 SB, an OPS of .660 and an 83 wRC+. Earlier this month, I wrote about Process+ and identified some of the most notable second-half risers. The biggest challenge throughout Walker’s career has been his swing decisions and his inability to make enough contact to tap into his 80-grade raw power. Early in the season, Walker’s 122 power score carried his first-half Process+ score of 112. Decisions and contact were much better than in 2025, though still around or just below league average. In the second half, each of his already-fringe tools (contact and decisions) fell by at least 10 points, while his power fell back to league average, for a 36-point drop and a 76 Process+ score. A few hitters in the same range as Walker over the final 60+ games included Marcelo Mayer, Mark Vientos, Kerry Carpenter, and Nolan Gorman. The lack of a track record of sustained success, along with the inherent risks from a profile like Walker’s, makes him a prime sell-high candidate this offseason. If you’re going to make that deal, make the new owner pay up and give you a very substantial package to acquire Walker.

You can use Process+ with rolling hitter charts that show how a hitter evolves through a season, with clear indicators of when things change. For visual purposes, below is a rolling chart for Rangers utility man Ezequiel Duran. As you can see, most of Duran’s value comes from his power, as shown by the pink above the league-average line. What you can’t see is that the power ticked up in early May. That checks out: Duran hit 17 homers and 27 doubles this season, with 16 of the 17 coming from May 7th forward. His contact value (shown in orange) is mostly around the league average, which also checks out: he made contact at 76%, just below the MLB average of 77%. Finally, his swing decisions. If you look at the blue, you’ll see those were mostly league-average as well, with a big improvement in the middle of the season. That also checks out: Duran walked 8% of the time in the second half and saw his chase rate dip 3% from the first half.

<a class="image-link image2 showed a lot of promise in the Process+ during the second half of this season and are primed for potential breakouts in 2027. For context purposes, this model liked the following hitters to break out this past season:

Ben Rice

Jo Adell

Ivan Herrera

Andrew Vaughn

Will Benson

Okay, so 3/5 turned out just fine. Will Benson should never be on a LOVE list.

Carter Jensen, C, KCR

After a 27-homer rookie season, it’s hard to list Jensen as a breakout. That said, Jensen was the biggest riser down the stretch, with his Process+ score climbing from a below-average 95 to 158, one of the highest in baseball. When I reviewed the deltas in contact and decisions, they were within a point or two of each other, while power jumped nearly 60 points. In the first half, Jensen maintained a respectable 9% barrel rate (20 barrels) and hit 13 homers in just over 300 at-bats. His quality-of-contact metrics were solid, averaging over 90mph with a 44% hard-hit rate. Jensen improved on all of that in his final 200 at-bats, hitting 14 homers with 26 barrels (149 BBEs), earning a barrel rate of almost 18% and seeing a two-mile-per-hour increase in his average EV. FWIW, Jensen also walked 13% of the time over his final 200+ PAs, up 4% versus the first half. Looking at the whole picture, Jensen did cut back his aggressiveness in his second MLB stint, but also saw a 4% dip in his overall and in-zone contact rates. That said, he doesn’t chase outside pitches, hits the ball hard, hits it at ideal launch angles, and has no trouble getting to his pull-side power. Jensen could become the next 30+ homer catcher, even in a difficult home-hitting environment, and that 30-homer season could come as early as 2027.

It’s not always the pop-up prospects who see huge shifts in their dynasty value, though. Sometimes it’s the second- or third-year players who go into a tailspin, a post-hype breakout, or the oft-injured guys who finally stay healthy and put it all together. No matter the circumstance, here is a look at the prospects who saw the biggest change in their dynasty values in 2026.

HITTERS

Franklin Arias, SS, BOS

Arias is the perfect example of how unlocking one new skill can completely alter the course of your career. In his case, it was the ability to hit for power. Without it, he was found in the low-40s to mid-60s in prospect rankings entering 2026. With it, Arias is now a consensus Top 10 prospect and is ranked as high as #1 overall in some outlets. The 20-year-old mashed 25 homers across two levels, including six in a small sample at Triple-A. Already considered one of the best pure hitters in the Minors ahead of this season, Arias’ ability to hit for more in-game power pushes him to an elite four-category fantasy contributor and skyrockets his dynasty value. As 2027 approaches, Arias is projected to break camp with the Red Sox and should be considered a Top 100 dynasty asset entering his rookie season.

Josiah Hartshorn, 1B/OF, CHC

Hartshorn was arguably the biggest breakout prospect this season, going from a mid-6th round pick in 2025 to one of the most impressive hitters in the Minors. The 19-year-old climbed three levels in 2026, reaching Double-A to close out the season. He slashed .284/.407/.518 with 23 homers, 90 runs, 117 RBI, and 17 steals in 125 games played. Hartshorn pairs elite plate skills with at least plus power, creating one of the highest offensive floors and upsides among prospects. In his debut season, the Orange, CA native showcased outstanding contact skills, posting an overall rate of nearly 80% which ticked up to 91% in-zone. In addition, he walked 91 times against just 109 strikeouts, made quality swing decisions, and rarely expanded the zone. It’s not outside the range of outcomes for Hartshorn to make his MLB debut in the second half of the 2027 season.
