knew was coming. And then there are people who just appear without warning. They step into your world completely unexpectedly, and before you even realize what is happening, they become your favorite person in the entire universe. That is exactly what happened to her.

They aren’t technically together in the way the world usually defines a relationship. He isn’t her official partner, and they aren’t planning a traditional future together. But labels have never mattered much when feelings are this clear and genuine. What she feels around him is undeniably real. It is a quiet spark that lights up everything around her, a gentle sense of warmth, and a feeling of pure safety she has not found anywhere else. Even knowing that this might never turn into a real long term thing, one truth remains so clear in her heart: she loves him.

They didn’t have years together. In fact, everything happened in such a short amount of time. But time works differently when you meet someone who truly connects with your soul. In just a few brief moments, they built a connection that felt deeper than years of knowing anyone else. Just looking at his face brings her an overwhelming sense of relief and peace. He is so caring, so genuinely sweet, and so cute in ways he probably doesn’t even realize. Being near him makes all the noise and chaos in her mind completely quiet down.

she hold onto every single memory they shared together during that short time. she remembers sitting across from each other on their coffee dates with warm cups between their hands, losing track of hours while the rest of the world rushed past them. she thinks about their music sessions, sitting close enough to feel each other’s presence while sharing the same pair of earphones, listening to songs that suddenly meant so much more because they were listening together. She treasures the days they spent exploring different places and wandering through new streets, where every single corner felt like an exciting adventure just because he was standing right beside her.

<a class="image-link image2 is-viewable-img" target="_blank" They had those deep, honest conversations where they opened up about their thoughts, their fears, and the secret parts of themselves they usually hide from the rest of the world. Then there were the quiet walk sessions, wandering together under the sky, feeling the calm air around them and feeling completely safe just taking steps next to him. Every moment was simple, but every moment was something so special.

Now, miles and physical distance have come between them. Long distance separates their daily lives, adding a quiet ache to every morning and night. They might not be together right now, and they might be living under completely different skies, but distance only changes location; it doesn’t change what is inside her heart. I am so sure about how she feels, and no amount of distance can diminish the bond they created.

Sometimes people wonder if it hurts to feel this deeply for someone when you can’t have the classic fairytale ending. But loving him isn’t about owning a future together or having a title, it is about appreciating the beautiful magic that actually happened. He showed her what true connection feels like and gave her a safe space to just be herself, even if only for a brief season. She doesn’t know what tomorrow brings for either of them, but she knows what her heart feels today. He was completely unexpected, he is far away from her right now, but he will always remain her favorite person.

Screaming Rema Boy!!!!!!!!!!!!

What are we actually Chasing?

One question - Two perspectives.

Nelly Blande

Nelly Blande explores the relationships we hold onto. things that leave us feeling empty. We get caught up in the thrill of the chase, thinking that if we just run a little faster, do a little more, or change ourselves a bit, we will finally be happy. But the truth is, a lot of times, we are chasing the wrong things for the wrong reasons.

We Chase Attention Instead of Intention

This is where so many of us go wrong in relationships. We confuse a quick text message or a little bit of attention with real intention. We stay up late waiting for a reply, guessing where we stand, and begging for the bare minimum.

If a man is not doing anything to keep you, why are you doing everything to stay? Some people don’t want to lose you, but they also don’t want to choose you. Choosing takes effort. They want access to your love and energy without making a commitment. When you chase someone who refuses to step up, you aren’t chasing love, you are chasing validation from someone who isn’t ready to give it.

We Chase Being Right Instead of Peace

It’s not just in romantic relationships; it happens in our daily lives. We get into arguments with our partners, our friends, or our family, and pride takes over. We listen only to defend ourselves or prove a point, rather than trying to understand each other.

We chase the feeling of winning the argument, but we lose the emotional connection. Constant arguments don’t always come from hate; they come from pride. Is being right worth losing your peace? True strength isn’t about shouting the loudest; it’s about knowing when to choose peace, patience, and vulnerability.

We Chase Perfection and Ignore the Red Flags

We are so afraid of failing or being alone that we paint a beautiful picture of someone in our heads and ignore who they actually are in reality. We put people on pedestals, overlook the red flags, and pretend everything is fine because we love them.

But you cannot change a person’s character just by loving them harder. A wedding ring won’t make an unfaithful partner loyal, and excuses won’t turn a boy into a real man. When you chase a perfect fantasy, you end up riding for someone else while dying inside.

Stop Running, Start Choosing You

One day, you have to look in the mirror and realize that you have been carrying people who couldn’t even carry themselves. You have been pouring your love into a leaking cup.

What we should actually be chasing isn’t out there. We should be chasing our own healing. We should be chasing consistency, clear boundaries, and a quiet, honest life with nothing to hide and nothing to prove.

Sometimes, what feels like a broken heart or a closed door is actually life saving your future from pain you cannot see yet. Stop chasing the people who make you feel hard to love. God takes away the people who were never meant to stay to make room for the ones who will make you feel safe, chosen, and respected.

You have always been more than enough. It’s time to stop chasing what isn’t meant for you, exhale, and let your peace find you.

Another Perspective

By Yvie O’Noel

Nelly asks a beautiful question..

What are we actually chasing?

It’s a question I’ve been sitting with for a long time, and the older I get, the less convinced I am that we ever really answer it honestly. See - i don’t think we’re chasing people, or success, or money, or recognition. I think those are simply the stories we tell ourselves. The visible destinations that make our lives feel easier to explain. The names we’ve given to something much deeper.

When we say we’re chasing love, are we really chasing another person? Or are we chasing the version of ourselves we imagine we could become if someone finally chose us?

When we say we’re chasing success, do we actually want the work? Or do we want the feeling we believe success will finally give us? That one morning we’ll wake up and the voice that has questioned our worth our entire lives will finally become quiet.

At this point in my life - i am sure that we don’t chase things, we chase feelings..

Safety..

Belonging..

Certainty..

Freedom..

Peace..

The feeling of finally being enough.

And sometimes we become so obsessed with reaching those feelings that we stop asking ourselves whether the path we’ve chosen can ever actually lead us there.

What’s really strange to me is that those feelings are not announcing themselves - instead, they borrow the faces of other things - a relationship, a promotion, a bigger apartment, more money, more followers, another achievement, another city, another version of ourselves.

We become convinced that if we can just reach the next milestone, we’ll finally arrive somewhere inside ourselves.

I’ve done this more times than i can count. For years, i thought i was building (or chasing) a career. Now when i look back - that’s not the case at all..i was chasing proof. Proof that i was intelligent enough, good enough, important enough, capable enough.

That if I built enough projects, helped enough people, sacrificed enough sleep, became indispensable enough, eventually i would earn the right to stop questioning my own value. And here’s the most difficult part.. achievement is very good at giving us moments of relief and relief feels so much like peace that we often confuse the two.

Or in other words - achievement is dangerous because it rewards you just enough to keep you running.

You finish the project, you get promoted, someone falls in love with you, your account grows, the article gets shared. For a moment, everything becomes quiet. And because that silence feels so much like peace, we convince ourselves we’ve finally found the answer.

Until the feeling fades.

And then we decide the answer must be MORE!!

More success..

More love..

More validation..

More certainty..

Another relationship..

Another goal..

Another version of ourselves.

Because surely this next one will finally be enough.

We’re chasing the next thing not because we’re greedy, but because we’re hopeful. Hopeful that this time, the feeling will stay.

But what if the problem isn’t that we’ve been chasing the wrong thing?

What if the problem is that we’ve asked external things to do a job they were never designed to do?

No person can permanently convince you that you’re worthy. No career can permanently make you feel significant. No amount of money can permanently make uncertainty disappear.

That’s too much responsibility to place on anything outside ourselves.

Isn’t that exactly why so many of us keep running?

Not because we’re weak, but because every time we arrive somewhere, we discover that the feeling we thought was waiting for us isn’t there. Or if it is - it only stays for a while.

The more I observe people and myself - the more i think we don’t actually fear failure - we fear meeting ourselves without distractions..

Without another goal, without another person to fix, without another mountain to climb.

Because if we stop chasing…we might finally have to ask ourselves who we are when there’s nothing left to pursue?

So my question hidden underneath Nelly’s “what are we chasing?” is - What are we hoping the chase will save us from?

I don’t know if there’s a universal answer. I only know that every time i ask myself that question honestly, the answer has always been an attempt to outrun something within myself. Or fear.. Because if there is such a thing as a universal answer, i suspect fear comes closer than anything else.

And perhaps that changes everything.

THINGS YOU SHOULD NEVER DO TO YOUR GIRL.

She deserves your comfort.

Nelly Blande

Compare her to other Girls; that ruins her confidence quick.

Bring up her past mistakes; If she is trying, let the past stay there.

Ignoring her when she is clearly not okay; Girls won’t always say it but definitely feel it.

Disrespecting her in front of people; she will laugh it but it cuts deep in her.

Assuming she doesn’t care just because she is quiet; she might not know how to say it.

Expect her to always be strong; she’s got emotions as well let her know she is safe .

Use her love against her; If she opens up to you and gives you her heart, don’t use it to hurt her.

Thanks for reading Nelly's Substack! You observe instead of reacting, making people uneasy because they can’t read your next move.

2. You Can Hurt, But choose Not To: You hold back power you know you have, which makes you more dangerous than those who use it recklessly.

3. You’ve Faced Darkness and Didn’t Break: You’ve survived what would crush others, and that quiet strength is what people fear the most.

CHAPTER 2

1. You’re Comfortable Being Disliked: You don’t chase approval, and that makes you immune to manipulation.

2. You Speak Less, Mean More: Every word has weight, so when you talk, people listen and feel it.

3. You Cut People Off Without Warning: When someone crosses a line, you vanish. No drama. Just silence. That unpredictability is power.

CHAPTER 3

1.You Don’t Brag, You Deliver: You let results speak, and that quiet confidence makes noise on its own.

2. You Read People Instantly: You notice what others miss tone, posture, intention and adjust before they even realize it.

3. You Ruthless With Boundaries: You protect your peace like a weapon, and anyone who tests it gets cut off fast.

CHAPTER 4

1. You Trust Slowly, Observe Always: You don’t get fooled twice because you’re always watching beneath the surface.

2. You Stay unbothered During Chaos: While others panic, you stay focused, that calm under pressure is intimidating.

3. You Don’t Explain Yourself: You make decisions without needing validation, and that certainty unsettles weak minds.

CHAPTER 5

1. You Keep Your Circle Tight: You allow very few in, and that selectiveness shows how hard it is to earn your trust.

2. You Can Go Silently for Months: Disappearing without a word isn’t punishment, it’s a strategy. You return stronger.

3. You Don’t Tolerate Disrespect, Ever: The moment someone crosses a line, you shut it down, firm, fast, final.

4. You Ready To Lose People Who Don’t Align: You’d rather be alone than surrounded by fakes. That fearlessness is rare.

Now in comment Section! Are you Dangerous?
