I'm tired of feeling like this.

People with zero capacity are staying on higher places.

Holding and keeping the power and actually believing they are absolutely right about what they think is right. They don't hesitate.

They just speak and other people obey them.

I'm tired of this situation.

I'm not talking about one specific category.

I'm talking about this type of people.

It's time to stop this situation.

One way to stop it, is being aware of it. Awareness.

It's not an easy task.

If we try to make a political movement, then we will end up becoming like them. Getting to the top and holding the power forever. Repeating the same mistakes.

There's no way out.

Political theory is all about the greater good and trying to make the world a better place. However, when you apply it, they just want everyone to think the same things, to like and dislike the same things, to behave in a certain way.

I was reading an Article that was trying to explain the power of money. Money is just an amplifier. It's not good or bad on itself. It will amplify the hidden desires of everyone. I think that's dangerous. Let's say that all you have in your heart, is a burning desire of revenge, money will fulfill your revenge and you will be harming other people. This is why is important to check your desires and your goals.

I've been living with imposed rules.

All my life. Living without a license to dislike those rules. You just have to accept those rules and shut your mouth.

And I think that's really sad.

Progress is not linear.

This is why I don't like saying that my life is getting better. Next day is a thousand times worse.

I saw “Always LaLisa”, the Documentary about Lisa from BLACKPINK. It was really good but it was also sad. She received a lot of hate. She even received a death threat. I think that’s really sad. Hate against women is a whole subject. This was not “Men against Women”. This was “Men and Women against Women”. Lisa is so brave, she decided to move forward, in spite of this situation.

I just started attending an English Conversation Club. The first meeting was really good. MVM Convo Club. This is like some kind of miracle.

Socialism has been the main reason for this. However, this is finally changing. The socialist government is falling down. They are running out of time.

I was watching an Interview, it’s truly an amazing Interview.

Zohran Mamdani. The Mayor of New York City. He’s a Socialist. However, he’s well educated, really smart, he knows what he’s talking about, and he’s wrestling with hard ideas: Justice, poverty, greed, security and the illusion of the American Dream.

I saw that interview and I was thinking: I have mixed feelings. Please, someone tell Mr. Mamdani that Socialism in Venezuela was a complete and absolute failure. On the other hand, if you have this amazing vision, knowledge and education, Socialism seems like a good idea. I’m still thinking about it.

On that first meeting, I told everyone I was writing a book. This is my book. It’s not a Novel. It’s just a random collection of many different things. I’m writing about Music, Movies, Books, my Life.

I need to get 100 Chapters. 100 Articles.

When it comes to Writing, I believe in freedom. I studied Philosophy at University, that’s my background. When you study Philosophy there’s an inevitable impulse to learn and connect those ideas to other categories: Literature, Psychology, Music, Art, Films, Poetry.

I’ve been learning English and Japanese for many years. It’s an endless path. I’m trying to learn from my mistakes and become a better person.

1)) Hi Dua. First of all. How are you feeling today?

Hi Rei, I’m feeling quite well, and I’m excited, as this is my first-ever book interview of my life. Thank you very much for hosting this! I’m very happy.

2)) Congratulations. This is your first book, right? What did you wanted to achieve with this book?

Thank you very much, Rei. I’m really excited about it! This is going to be a very special event of my life, a dream turning into reality. Yes, this is my first book that I wrote back in 2024. I started writing it at a tough time in my life after my father’s passing, and then I poured out so much into this book. The heroine, Eve, has to go through quite a pressure, with which I could relate to, so that’s something that I felt, and I turned my lived experience into the character development of my heroine, Eve. I honestly wanted to read a love story that could be perfect for me, for my desires, and I feel like that kind of book didn’t exist. It’s natural for me to fall in love with literary heroes, but there was not a heroine I could actually relate to, to make the romance feel real. In other words, I couldn’t feel a sense of home, so I knew I had to create one. And writing this book is actually a proof that almost highlights a dreamy romance that I’d definitely like to read about. So, I created this home, and I hope my readers can also feel it warm and cozy like a beautiful home. It’s a love story about total opposites who fall in love, and that kind of love is like an eclipse, and the universe does every single thing to keep them apart. But once that invisible chord of love and eclipse is developed between the two lovers, no force on earth can separate them, so I think that’s what I was trying to achieve with this book.

3)) In terms of music. Were you listening to music while you were writing? Or maybe in the writing process? What type of music?

While writing, sometimes I don’t play music, but I listen to a few artists on repeat, honestly, mostly from the ’90s. IDK why, but yeah, while creating this book, I listened to Enrique Iglesias the most. All his famous songs, “Bailamos,” “Love to See You Cry,” etc. I think his music suits my plot because my book has a Spanish setting, and all those songs of Enrique really created the mood to write for that specific setting. Also, I, of course, talk about my love for Michael Jackson almost wherever I go, so yes, his songs, especially “In the Closet,” “Liberian Girl,” and “Human Nature,” I’ve been listening to a lot while writing. These two artists I’ve listened to the most while writing this book. And if I were to choose one song from each artist for this book, it’d definitely be either “In the Closet” by Michael or “Bailamos” by Enrique, due to passion, lust, and all the themes I added into this book. Music, I think, intensifies the emotion while writing, and you end up writing about it perfectly. But on most nights while writing, I’ve been listening to music less, lol. Yeah, some nights I did not listen to music at all cuz I feel like it distracts me from creating my characters’ thoughts, feelings, and writing descriptions.

4)) My writing process is very weird. It’s hard for me to talk about it. I just know that I need to be alone and feel like I’m being allowed to connect with my mind with honesty. Can you tell us about your writing process? 

I can relate to your writing process, Rei. It is very important for me to be alone and in a quiet space where I can concentrate and gather ideas. My writing process is kinda messy too, but whenever I share it with other writers, they call it quite neat and orderly. So I keep this writing planner in my journal and track my word count strictly. I’m very hard on myself when it comes to writing, and I don’t easily forgive myself when I skip a day, especially when writing long projects (I don’t write poetry every day). If I skip a day, I say bad things to myself, lol. I’m a night writer, especially for my novels. I had a dedicated time after dinner from 10 pm to 12 am. This was the sacred hour where I just locked in and just wrote. And I think those hours are enough to hit 1,000 words a day. I set very realistic targets: either 500 words a day or 1,000 words a day. And then after completing it, I mark it on my journal with the desired word count I have written, say 1,000 words, and then I make a cute smiley face at the front :). Before writing a novel, I idea-dump in my journal, make an outline, etc. You know, every unnecessary thing that is not going to help me at all with actual writing, lol. But I do jot down ideas carefully before entering into my novel-writing phase.

Some days Shakespeare’s spirit embraces me, and those days are very lucky, where I go to 3,000 words, but that’s my limit. I can’t exceed that. Some days I don’t write and hate it. I want to be a morning writer, but that’s just not who I am. I’m a night owl, and I think it’s very romantic to write at night. Maybe it’s my nature. Also, as I said, I track my progress in my messy journal with a monthly plan. Sometimes, when I don’t have a story idea, I don’t write at all. I haven’t worked on my next project since I completed my project 2 on May 31st. Since then, I’ve only composed a few poems and written articles and posts. I have ideas, so many ideas, but I need a particular motivation to get started, so this is my process. I keep every chapter in a separate Word file, and then compile them. I’ve been consistent with my last book. I wrote for 7 months straight, but I wasn’t very consistent with my debut work, When the Wild Sun loved the Soft Moon, because it was an experimental book and my first time learning new things.

5)) How do you see yourself in 5 years? This question is important for me because it allows us to control our future in some way. A lot of people don’t like this question. I think it’s important. 

This is a question I hate too. I don’t know, truly, but what I know is that I’ve been creating since childhood, drawing and poetry. This is my purpose, and my ability, and my imagination is the only weapon I have. If I don’t use it or just not create, I’d be like a dead fish on the land. Creating is my water where I swim, paint with words. I love creating. I feel like it is something from God, and in that moment, I’m the carrier of that idea that already belongs up there.

6)) Do you have any favorite Writers or Authors?

Favourite writers and authors! My favourite question. I’ve read Sidney Sheldon a lot while writing this book. His straightforward style kinda made me feel like writing a book is easy. But then I ended up with 90% of the draft full of telling, and then I had to edit the whole thing. Thanks, Sidney Sheldon, lol. Apart from him, I read classic books like Shakespeare, Dostoevsky, Dickens, my favorite. As a poet, I deeply admire Keats and Rumi. The first romance or love story book I picked up was Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë, so it is a very dark book and not what romance is in today’s market, but I love that book and Brontë’s writing style. I’ve been trying to read historical romance, as I think I should read more widely in my genre. I started reading Johanna Lindsey’s historical romance books. I’ve tried reading Eloisa James in the romance genre. But my favourite authors are still Shakespeare, Dostoevsky, and Kafka, also Rumi and Sheldon. I’m fond of Robert Greene in nonfiction. I love his book 48 Laws of Power. I also love reading Michael Connelly’s crime fiction and detective books; there’s a lot of suspense in them. I think I should be widely read in my genre, but romance is not up to my tastes in those books, sadly.

7)) What was the main theme of this book? What do you want to express?

This is my favourite one. So the main theme of the book is definitely the struggle between desire and duty and the question of whether we can choose a life that is truly our own without losing ourselves or hurting the people we love. It is also about love as a transformational experience, rooted in our soul, but we can’t get that transformation out until we meet the soulmate who’s supposed to show us that transformation that’s been hiding in this beating compass we call a heart. It is also about two lovers who can be stark opposites of one another but can still hold a mirror that reflects their own reflections in their hearts. So what I’m trying to express with this book is that the sun and moon are opposites, but they long for one another, but they cannot simply exist together whenever they want. Their meeting is rare, like an eclipse. And that eclipse is transformational; it is blinding. So when love shows us the life we truly want, do we have the courage and responsibility to choose it? These are some concepts I hid behind a distracting love story that I intend my readers to look out for, as they are what made me feel dreamy and romantic all at once. When the Wild Sun loved the Soft Moon isn’t meant to tell readers how they should live or whom they should love. Instead, I wanted to explore the questions we sometimes avoid: What do I really want? Am I living the life I chose, or the one chosen for me? Where does desire end and love begin? And what am I willing to take responsibility for when I finally choose the life I want?

8)) In terms of writing and finishing a long book. How did you manage to stay committed all the way to the end? What advice would you give to other writers?

Writing and finishing a long book of 350 pages and 100K words seem like an impossible task, but it is possible, and with discipline and passion, it can happen. Well, this was my first book, so I wasn’t very committed to it. That’s the main reason it took me 2 years to write it, because I gave up on it twice because it’s not good enough, or I can never complete it. I started writing in 2023, and then stopped in the middle of 2024, and then I did not look at the book for like 6 months straight. In fact, I hated it. I didn’t have the title decided because, of course, it was my first time. I was messing up things, and then I had full-time study going on and a job, and so much stuff going on, anxiety, etc. But I somehow picked it up again in 2025 and finished it. I remember taking an unintentional break after writing 20K words and not thinking of ever coming back to it again. But I had this dream of being a published author.

My writing advice to other writers is: progress, not perfection. Write one line, two lines a day, or even a page a day, and at the end of the year, you’ll have a whole book in your hand. Writing a book is tough, but once you master it by showing up every day, you realize it’s a piece of cake. Editing is way harder than writing. Give your craft enough time, do it, make time for it as you’d do for every other single thing because that’s what I did. No matter what, the most important thing is to just show up, even with one line or even a word, but stay strong. Your goal should be to progress, not to be perfect.

"Don't Look Back in Anger" is a documentary about the British Rock Band, OASIS, and the World Tour they did in 2025.

After 16 years without touring, they decided to start again. When they announced the tour I felt left out. Only a few lucky countries were able to enjoy this historical event. I'm glad they made this movie. It's definitely (maybe) one of the best documentaries I have ever seen in my entire life.

The first 30 minutes are all about the negative side of life. Noel was singing alone and it was painful to watch.

And then, Liam arrives, and it was like we all suddenly got hit by a train, it was an amazing feeling of nostalgia, mixed with a new type of emotions that I honestly couldn't describe.

It was too good to be true.

There's something special about Liam's voice. Something magical. That magic appears as a consequence of being a punk-rocker at heart.

OASIS is not a punk band, but Liam's voice is clearly screaming: You won't tell me what to do!! You freakin' loser!! I know who I am and I won't change!! If you don't get it, fuck off!!

I think that's not right.

These songs are like actually really nice. It’s not an offensive sound.

In terms of Rock Music, it’s almost like whispering. An invitation to stay calm, which is really weird. This Band is playing against the rules. To play against the rules of Rock Music, well, that will bring you a lot of hate and rejection.

Maybe that was the main goal.

* Cristopher Nolan did an amazing job. This story is supposed to be told in, at

least, 20 hours, and he managed to compress almost everything in 3 hours.

* On the downside, the First Act is really slow, really weird and I was like:

((I don’t like it!!)). It was pretty much a disaster. I understand that he made a

choice, he tried to explain the story without any type of action, for a whole

hour. I think that was wrong.

* The Screenplay was written by Christopher Nolan. He’s an amazing

Director, nevertheless, I think he’s struggling as a Writer.

* Anyway, Trojan-Horse-Scene: Phenomenal scene, the music is impressive.

* That Trojan-Horse-Scene should have been the very first scene in the movie.

Without context, without words, that would have been perfect.

* The Best Actor in this Film: Robert Pattinson!

* The final scene was one of the best final scenes I have ever seen. That was

unexpected and breathtaking.

* Ludwig Göransson. On his way to win his 4th Oscar. All the music is truly

remarkable. Excellent. Unforgettable.

* Odysseus is thinking about the consequence. He’s thinking about his own

faults. This is why he became a Hero.

* The scene with Circe reminded me of “Spirited Away” by Hayao Miyazaki.

Human beings are greedy, greedful creatures.

* “Following” (1998) was Nolan’s first film. 28 years later, he finally made his

biggest project. “The Odyssey” is his film #13.

I’ve been listening since 1999. Breakout!!! Learn to Fly!!! Those were the

golden times of MTV.

((All My Life)) >> One of the best songs, ever. One of the best music videos,

ever. When I saw it, I was like: Wow!! This is a legendary Rock-Band!!

To me, this Rock-Band ended with the end of Taylor Hawkins.

It’s been 5 years since “Medicine at Midnight” (2021). That was the last

Album with Taylor, one of the greatest drummers, ever.

An amazing American musician. Dave Grohl said that in terms of

precision, speed and creativity, Taylor was way better than him.

And I think that’s true.

On 2006, I met him. He was so kind, we took a picture together and

That's what I felt when I saw all the scenes with Aunt May. We are being introduced into the concept of multiple timelines, the theory of the multiverse. Well, I know this is not something new, however, I felt something completely different. This story is trying to awake something within us. I can't explain it. I was just feeling, not thinking.

There's a connection with "Thunderbolts". That was awesome. The presence of Yelena seemed to suggest that we are still inside this psychological layer of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

In terms of the cinematic achievements: truly amazing.

All the sound effects are pretty impressive. The action sequences are imitating the style from animated presentations. It’s a mind-blowing job from Destin Daniel Cretton. He’s a smart Director. He’s not rushing, he’s not dragging. It’s hard to reach that level. There’s also an undeniable influence from the World of Martial Arts. On many scenes, I was thinking: Wow!! Ninja style!! That type of stuff.

I absolutely loved 2 moments with amazing songs. Those 2 songs were by Tame Impala and Bad Bunny. That was awesome.

Peter Parker is trying to start again. (Once again). "No Way Home" was definitely the end of an era. Clearly, it's hard to write or talk about new situations, and I don't really like when I feel like they made a new movie just for the commercial side of it. At times, it felt like that, like, nothing new, in terms of narrative and story. I have seen everything about Spider-Man. In some kind of way, they went back with they way Sam Raimi was telling the story. I don't know what to feel about that.

The first time Peter saw MJ, I felt deeply sad. And then, tears rolling down my face. I can't even explain why. It was not a sad scene. I think that was some kind of riddle, there's no answer yet. I also thought there was some kind of subliminal message.

There's something they're trying to tell us. This "telepathy" subject. ((Jean Grey)). Everything related to "telepathy" and mind control, I felt it real, or at least, more real than ever before. I think we are leaving fiction behind, it's time to incorporate these concepts into what we call "reality". I'm always thinking about other stuff when I'm watching movies, but this time, I couldn't, there was some kind of pressure. It's hard to explain.

The third act was weird, I was expecting a different ending. Not completely sure about what was that.

Obviously, they are thinking about "Doomsday", "Secret Wars", and beyond.

I was constantly thinking about "No Way Home". I think this was intentional, they went back many times with Aunt May and her message: (("When you help someone you help everyone")).

Overall, it was good, but not as good as "No Way Home". That was a cultural event. This feels like another chapter inside a TV series.

Anyway, I'm glad the writers are thinking about many psychological aspects and what it really means to go on when you feel like there's no reason to live at all.

La situación del Terremoto en Venezuela.

I'm not saying that Spain didn't deserve it at all, but definitely there was something weird there. There was something off.

Then I saw many football players from Spain wearing MAGA hats. I thought people from Spain were against Trump.

Look, all the Spain supporters will never talk about this. I get it. It's just sad when you know something's wrong and you stay silent. From both sides.

People from Argentina, they need to be more humble. They need to learn humility. That's true.

Some people are saying that many players from Argentina received death threats, right before the final match. There are many of them, currently playing inside the Premier League. Many people are saying that they can't understand why these people are so evil. I want you to know, deep down, you can and you will understand. When someone does something you don't like, you start thinking about revenge.

First, as some kind of fantasy, but then, you try to bring those revenge ideas into reality.

This is what happened to Venezuela. I have searched for many names, many people that made me suffer, and I found out something:

They were not born in Venezuela.

They were born in Colombia.

And it felt like a secret, like I wasn't supposed to know that.

For many decades, Venezuela was a Paradise, a dream destination, it was the strongest Economy of the whole continent, but that was creating a big problem for Colombia. I have to research more about this subject. It's true. And I don't want to say everything I found out, because it might actually be dangerous.

Going back to the subject of revenge, the socialist government is built upon this idea. Many people have confessed that their biggest motivation was to get revenge for many things that happened to them, many years ago. This is why I was talking about Karmic energy, Jesus Christ, forgiveness, all that stuff.

To be evil: Easiest thing in the world. You just follow your thoughts. An eye for an eye.

To think about revenge: Easiest thing in the world. You even justify it, they made you suffer, and it makes sense.

These people took vengeance on a whole another level. Many of them, were born in Colombia, and they made an oath: To destroy Venezuela.

For many different reasons.

This might sound crazy for many people. If you want to take it as a conspiracy theory, that's ok. I'm just having these moments of Revelation, because I was looking for information, dates of birth of many of these people, and it can't be found, that means, they were not born in Venezuela, they don't have an official identity, or identification number, they were here for a specific mission. I have made many mistakes. A lot of events happened last year, it all fell different. I was making mistakes but at the same time I saw a lot of people being mean and cruel. It was destroyed, along with many buildings that were destroyed and reduced to rubbles. It's a long story. I don't know where to start. I just know that everything you do, comes with a warning, if you caused suffering and distress to other people, it will come back to you, multiplied. And now I'm watching all the Karma unfolding and unraveling. It's a lot wilder than I thought.

Almost 8 million people from Venezuela are living all around the world, they had to leave because this country became a nightmare, you can explain it from a Political and Economical point of view, but there's something deeper.

There's something darker.

The problem with this, you try to explain it, but no one would listen. They don't believe in the spiritual realm. Until disaster strikes, and then it's way too late.

Recently I have found rejection, the typical message that you write to someone and they left you on "seen". You know they have already read the message but they simply decided not to answer. I think that's rude. That's not right.

That's actually being a coward towards life in general. This happened with someone who is always reading and writing in Spanish, it's going to sound really weird what I'm about to say, anyway, I have to say it.

I'm actually ashamed of people from Latin America, Spain, and all the people from the Spanish-speaking countries. That's what I'm feeling right at this moment. I know how to read and write in English, however, I also know I have my own limitations.
