Long before others caught up and adopted the movement, Pat was taking ‘America First’ to the presidential campaign trail. American sovereignty, American workers, Border Security, and putting our own country’s interests first weren’t passing slogans for him. They were convictions.

In Short:

• All tyranny begins with necessity, oftentimes man-made.

• The attacks of September 11 created the fear necessary to persuade Americans to surrender constitutional protections in exchange for promises of security.

• The Patriot Act was sold as an emergency response to foreign terrorism. The surveillance powers contained in them constructed a permanent domestic surveillance state, pointed inward.

• The NDAA has been reauthorized over the years. The current reauthorization has a steroids addiction, merging U.S. interests with foreign interests.

• Technocracy is expanding the system through Palantir, surveillance cameras, facial recognition, Real ID, artificial intelligence and hyperscale data centers.

• The justification keeps changing: terrorism, crime, illegal immigration, China, Russia, public health, or the old standby… national security. The target of the surveillance remains the same… We, the American people.

• Republicans cannot condemn these powers under Obama, Biden or Harris while applauding them under Republicans. “Our guy” is not a constitutional argument.

Today, I’m focusing on the root cause, Psychopathic Authoritarianism Disease (P.A.D.), not the tragedy; the conspiracy facts; or even the forever wars that came out of it. But, if you want to truly honor those murdered on, or because of 9/11, I recommend watching the documentaries below.

Personally, my theory is that after the ‘93 parking garage bombings, and the inspections that ensued through ‘96, they discovered that they had a huge problem… the steel was compromised, either through sub-standard steel alloy, or by a long-term reaction from the fireproofing sprayed onto the steel in manufacturing. How could they come out and say that two 110-story buildings are coming down one way or another?

Donald Trump called into the news that morning. Trump said it was an inside job. Two days later, after visiting the site, and all the emotion that comes with it, Trump changed his narrative. But, as I said, this article is about the psychological phenomenon.

Twenty-Five Years Later

Twenty-five years ago today, Americans watched the World Trade Center towers; and portions of The Pentagon collapse. Then, they watched something else collapse.

America’s guarantee that government must have a specific reason, tied to a specific crime, and about a specific person, before it may search, track or investigate a citizen, began disappearing under the rubble.

People were frightened and angry ... that was understandable and justified. But, the powers that be know that frightened and angry people don’t ask questions before surrendering rights that psychopathic authoritarians have wanted abolished for years; actually throughout human history. There’s nothing new under the sun.

We were told that the attacks changed everything; that antiquated constitutional restrictions were inadequate for this New World Order; that government needed new departments, authorities, databases, watchlists, and ways to monitor communications.

Most importantly, we were told it was necessary; temporary; an emergency; and would keep us safe. Twenty-five years later, the emergency has never ended, it has expanded.

Psychopathic Authoritarianism

In his new book, Psychopathic Authoritarianism: A Disease of the Soul, Sansone examines the psychological and spiritual forces that repeatedly produce authoritarian systems. He identifies the “Dark Tetrad” of sadism, narcissism, Machiavellianism and psychopathy, energized by fear and expressed through domination and control.

The diagnosis applies not only to individuals. It applies to systems. A system operates without empathy, without restraint, and without recognition of the individual as anything more than a serf; a record to be collected, categorized, scored, tracked and controlled.

Individuals willingly become cogs in that system; collective narcissists; lords and ladies of the “royal court”. We saw this during Covid, as store employees became self-appointed Mask-Police; and put magical tape arrows on the floor screaming at anyone who dared to not conform. Fellow shoppers felt compelled to attack anyone who refused to share in their collective delusions.

The demand was conform or I will suffer; wear a mask, or I will get sick; walk down the aisle this way, not that… or everyone in the store will die. Submit to control, and share in my delusion, otherwise none of us will be safe. It’s like a Borg or hive mind mentality. It’s the same delusion being used around pronouns. “Actively share in my delusion, or I’ll call you names”.

Covid didn’t create the psychopaths, it activated them. The tendencies were always there, waiting for the collective to support them and give them cover. Many of us have seen this behavior at REC meetings with the Clapping Seals, or hypocritical board members pushing meeting rules banning recording, while they themselves are litigating against government boards for banning them recording meetings. Rules for thee, not me.

Sansone’s book identifies the permanent surveillance state as one of the defining characteristics of systemic P.A.D. That is precisely what September 11 accelerated. It paved the way for Covid-19. And, it paved the way for current crises, like Flock-style surveillance cameras, Palantir, Data-centers, full authoritarian Big Brother surveillance and control.

It will continue to pave the way for the next crisis du jour. Why? Because it works... if we let it. And, too many will let it; demand it even. It seems to be the nature of man… waiting for the white-hats to come save them. It’s intellectual laziness, after all there’s football games, Cheetos, and X-Box to occupy their time. Who has time to reign in our government?

Fear makes the population receptive and creates the “necessity”. Government supplies the “cure”. The cure always requires us to surrender the very liberty the government was established to protect.

It’s simple… give us more power, and we will give you more security., which never happens. Less liberty does not produce more security.

The Patriot Act

Congress introduced the bill on October 23, 2001. The House passed it the next day. The Senate passed it the day after that. President George W. Bush signed it into law on October 26. A 132-page bill dramatically expanding federal investigative and surveillance powers, from introduction to law in three days.

Government operates on a simple premise: if Americans are frightened enough, they will tolerate tyranny they would have otherwise considered unthinkable. This is the reason some are making, even demanding, surveillance cameras being installed everywhere on the off-chance it captures a crime in progress.

The Emergency Always Becomes Permanent

The DHS was created in 2002; the TSA became permanent; intelligence agencies expanded their reach and capabilities; watchlists grew; databases multiplied; and military and intelligence methods increasingly merged into domestic law enforcement. The battlefield was no longer somewhere overseas. It stalked Americans at home.

During COVID, emergency powers, tracking systems, and government-corporate information sharing were repurposed in the name of public health.

Today, facial recognition and biometric identification are promoted as convenience and security. Just imagine if they had Flock cameras during the Covid lockdowns. They would have issued automated tickets and fines for being where you were not supposed to be. It would have fell on you to prove that you were “essentially necessary” where that camera picked up on you. Presumption of guilt.

Real ID is sold as identity protection. Palantir and similar platforms are sold as efficiency, data integration and intelligent government. Online activity tracking is sold as child protection methods.

Flock cameras are sold as crime-fighting tools. But, what will they consider a crime? Will video of anyone attending a Republican Assembly meeting be sent to Evan Power for immediate removal from your REC? Were you in D.C. on January 6th? Were you present at a rally in Sarasota protesting Fauxi? Were you giving a presentation against ‘Triple Dippers’ in the state government employee retirement system? Maybe you were clocked at a school board meeting railing against LGBTQUEIEIO measures.

The Cameras Are Not Pointed at China

We are told that surveillance cameras will fight crime; and that Palantir will help government locate dangerous people, connect information, and operate more efficiently. We are told that America must build enormous AI data centers to defeat China in a global technological arms race.

The Trump administration describes it as a “national security imperative”, calling for accelerated data-center construction, expanded government use of artificial intelligence, greater military adoption and high-security data centers for military and intelligence purposes. Private companies beyond the reach of FOIA, coupled with national security protections mean we have zero control over the system designed to track each of us.

Where are the cameras pointed; whose license plates are recorded; whose faces are scanned; whose movements are stored; and whose government, medical, financial, employment and commercial records can be compiled, cross-referenced and analyzed?

Not China’s… but ours.

Cameras have been installed for years, now. Why is it that these measures rarely seem to be used to find murderers or rapists? We should be crime-free by now. They’re just collecting data. Not for criminals, but undesirables. The punishment comes later, when you become a thorn in someone’s side. Has everyone either read or watched Orwell’s ‘1984’?

And, now they’re being installed on school buses, delivery vehicles, and waste trucks, scanning every residence. What are they scanning for? Code enforcement? Travel itineraries? When you’re home, when you’re not? What time your teen-aged daughter drives to school?

The danger is not only theoretical. Systems built for legitimate investigations can be abused by individual officers, shared beyond their original purpose or quietly expanded after public approval. There are countless instances where members of LEO have been found to abuse the system, to track a former girlfriend and other people without authorization.

The problem is not merely that one person allegedly misused the system. The problem is that the system made such misuse possible. It’s the same argument with voting machines. I don’t have to prove that they were used to cheat, not while we can’t verify the code to prove they can’t. Give government the machinery to track everyone, and eventually someone will use it to track someone they shouldn’t.

The database doesn’t care whether the person typing the search is a patriot, a partisan, a bureaucrat, a political operative, a member of foreign military/intelligence, or a psychopath. It simply answers the query.

And, then one day, maybe you decide to run for office; all of your acts, words, messages, texts, emails, travels, and associations are at the fingertips of the very individuals you are running against. Or, maybe you simply have a reputation for calling out elected servants…

The Data Centers Behind the Curtain

The camera is the eye; the microphone is the ear; the network is the nervous system; and the data center is the brain. All it lacks is a soul.

AI requires enormous computing power; enormous data centers; and enormous amounts of electricity, water, land and public infrastructure. But the civil-liberties question runs deeper than utility bills and water consumption. What are these facilities being built to process?

We’re told we must accept this because “criminals are dangerous”, “China is dangerous”, and “technology is inevitable”. None of that answers the constitutional question… “How does monitoring our own citizens help us compete with a foreign government, unless the competition is about control?”

China has already demonstrated what a surveillance state becomes. Imitating its infrastructure while pretending to use it “more benevolently” is not defeating China, it’s defeating the U.S. It is importing and emulating China’s model against us.

China, with its total citizen tracking, cataloging, and ESG on everyone, has a mere fraction of the data centers the U.S. already has, let alone current plans to increase them exponentially. Maybe China doesn’t need to store the data for very long; they clamp down immediately on any dissidence, and once you’re dead or in your work camp, there’s no need to keep the data?

Currently, there’s a drive to merge our military and intelligence with a foreign government’s, making them a permanent partner inside our own government, instead of an ally that we may, or may not opt to share intelligence or military operations with. Will that become the way around Posse Comitatus?

You may like your neighbor. You may even occasionally invite him over for beers, bonfires, and BBQ. But, you wouldn’t give him the keys to your house and free reign to your marital bed. Merging our military/intelligence with a foreign power means never being allowed to say “It’s time for you to go home, Ben”.

But, He Is Our Guy

Here is the part that some Republicans will not enjoy. Many didn’t merely accept the Patriot Act, they demanded it, ignoring danger because it was a Republican president; “our guy”.

Constitutional skepticism became disloyalty; questions became conspiracy theories; and opposition became sympathy for the enemy. We should remember that mistake when any president demands new surveillance powers, new databases, new emergency authority or another undeclared foreign war.

What if Joe Biden or Kamala Harris were doing this? Would you trust them with Palantir, a national network of license-plate cameras, facial recognition, Real ID, centralized federal data, or artificial intelligence capable of connecting it all?

If the answer changes according to the name of the president, then the standard is not constitutional. It is tribal. The power we grant to a president we love becomes the inheritance of the president we despise.

Government power does not disappear when administrations change. It accumulates. Every president inherits the weapons created by the last one and leaves additional weapons for the next.

That is why my governing principle remains:

“Our Guy” Is Not a Constitutional Argument

Psychopathic Authoritarianism needs frightened people; obedient people; and/or collective narcissists. It benefits from partisan people willing to excuse conduct from their own leaders, that they would condemn immediately from the opposition.

It needs people to believe that this particular emergency is different; this particular enemy is uniquely dangerous; this particular president can be trusted; this particular surveillance tool will only be used against “bad” people.

We have heard all this before. The Patriot Act is not merely emergency legislation passed after 9/11. It’s a blueprint that established the principle in which fear could overcome constitutional resistance; that mass collection could replace particularized suspicion; and that government could construct permanent powers in response to temporary “emergencies”.

Twenty-five years later, that blueprint is being continued with artificial intelligence, biometric identification, networked cameras, integrated databases and hyperscale computing facilities capable of processing it all.

The technology is newer, but the disease is not. The government tells us that the surveillance state exists to watch our enemies.

But the cameras are pointed at us. The records belong to us. The profiles describe us. The machinery surrounds us. And once again, we are being asked to applaud because “our guy” says it will keep us safe, and make us all rich. Oh, and we have to pay for it.

What’s next... nanobot technology injected into our bodies for total surveillance... inside and out??? Don’t worry, you won’t need a device, you’ll be the device. You’ll own nothing… and be happy. Revelation warned us about the Beast System… well here it is. And the driving force is P.A.D.

AI Data Center effects on electric costs

Florida passed a law this year, requiring large electric users, including AI data centers, to pay their own way.

At least, that is how it is being sold.

The new law claims to create real protections against dumping data-center costs onto residential and small-business customers. Supposedly, it limits those protections to “public utilities,” a term that does not mean what most people would reasonably assume it means.

Under Florida law, rural electric cooperatives and municipal utilities are specifically excluded.

That means the protection could depend on what utility company logo appears at the top of your electric bill.

The short version

• Florida’s new data-center law requires covered utilities to create special rates for customers demanding 50 megawatts or more at one location.

• Those rates are supposed to make the large customer pay the full cost of new connections, generation, transmission, infrastructure, operations and maintenance.

• The law also allows financial guarantees, minimum-use commitments, take-or-pay contracts and early-termination fees, so ordinary ratepayers are not stuck paying for infrastructure built for a project that later disappears.

• But the law applies those requirements only to a “public utility” as defined in Florida Statute 366.02.

• That definition expressly excludes rural electric cooperatives and municipal electric utilities.

• In Lee County, that means FPL customers receive the new statutory protection, while LCEC members do not.

• This does not prove LCEC, or any other co-op, will subsidize an AI data center. It means the Legislature did not require co-ops to provide the same safeguards.

• Florida’s 16 distribution cooperatives, listed and linked below, serve about 2.7 million people in 57 counties. This is not a small rural footnote. If you are in another county in Florida, look for your power company in that list. If you are outside of Florida, you should look into any potential similar legislation in your state.

Here is the part they forgot to mention.

Read the Fine Print Before Applauding

SB 484 became Chapter 2026-65 on May 7, 2026. Most of it took effect July 1.

The Legislature declared that unusually large electric customers create a “disproportionate risk” for other ratepayers. Correct.

It then created Florida Statute 366.043, requiring special tariffs designed to prevent those costs from being shifted to everyone else. Also correct.

This sounds like Florida finally noticed that an AI data center can consume the electricity of a small city.

Then comes the statutory trapdoor.

The protection applies to a “public utility.” Section 366.043 imports that term from §366.02.

Section 366.02 defines an “electric utility” broadly. That category includes:

• Investor-owned utilities

• Municipal electric utilities

• Rural electric cooperatives

Had the Legislature used that term, the protection would have covered all three.

It did not.

It used “public utility,” which §366.02 defines more narrowly. That definition specifically excludes:

• A cooperative organized under Florida’s Rural Electric Cooperative Law

• A municipality or municipal agency

In plain English, the Legislature had a definition available that included co-ops and municipal utilities. It chose the one that excluded them.

Maybe that was intentional. Maybe the bill’s sponsors, committee members and staff never followed their own cross-reference to see where it led.

Neither answer inspires confidence.

What Covered Utilities Must Do

For an investor-owned utility such as FPL, a “large load customer” is one expecting a monthly peak load of at least 50 megawatts at a single location.

The law requires a special tariff intended to make that customer bear its full cost of service, including:

• Electrical connections

• New or incremental transmission

• New or incremental generation

• Other infrastructure

• Operations and maintenance

• The risk that the customer does not pay

The customer cannot split one large project into several smaller connections to duck under the 50-megawatt threshold.

The Public Service Commission may also approve:

• Upfront contributions toward construction

• Minimum-demand charges

• Incremental generation charges

• Financial guarantees

• Minimum load commitments

• Take-or-pay requirements

• Minimum contract periods

• Early-termination fees

These are not minor billing details.

Imagine a utility builds transmission lines, substations or generating capacity for a 250-megawatt data center. The project is delayed, downsized or abandoned. Somebody still has to pay for what was built.

The new tariff is supposed to keep that bill away from the general body of ratepayers.

Each covered utility must file its tariff with the Public Service Commission by October 1, 2026. That gives the PSC a review role and creates at least some public record of how the risk will be handled.

Those are worthwhile protections, but they simply are not statewide protections.

What Co-ops Are Not Required to Do

LCEC is a member-owned, not-for-profit electric cooperative. Under Florida law, that makes it an “electric utility,” but not a “public utility” for purposes of §366.043.

Therefore, SB 484 does not require LCEC to:

• File a large-load tariff with the PSC by October 1

• Obtain PSC approval of that tariff

• Assign every cost listed in §366.043 to the data center

• Use financial guarantees or minimum load commitments

• Require a take-or-pay agreement

• Impose an early-termination fee sufficient to cover stranded costs

LCEC can adopt comparable protections on its own. It may already have rate provisions or negotiate a contract that protects its members. Its existing commercial rates include demand charges and other cost-recovery mechanisms.

But “can” and “must” are different words. In other words, it depends on what the definition of “shall”, shall be.

The law makes those protections mandatory for FPL. It leaves LCEC members dependent on decisions by cooperative management and its elected Board of Trustees.

That is the loophole.

The point is not that LCEC would necessarily make a bad deal. The point is that the Legislature recognized the danger, imposed specific safeguards on one class of utility, and left customers of another class without the same statutory floor.

If the safeguards were important enough to mandate for FPL customers, why were they optional for LCEC members?

Lee County Is Split

Most people do not spend much time thinking about electric service territories. They flip a switch, the light comes on, and a bill arrives with all the warmth of a process server.

Lee County is divided primarily between FPL and LCEC. FPL serves much of Fort Myers, Bonita Springs and other parts of the county. LCEC serves Cape Coral, North Fort Myers, Pine Island, Sanibel, Captiva and portions of Lehigh Acres, along with territory outside Lee County.

The utilities do not publish perfectly matching, county-only figures, so the following is a reasonable planning estimate, not an audited allocation:

Roughly one out of every three Lee County electric accounts may therefore sit outside SB 484’s principal ratepayer-protection mandate.

County lines do not control this. Utility territory does.

Two Lee County residents can live across the street from one another, face the same potential regional effects from a data center, and receive different statutory protection against its electrical costs.

That is not a hypothetical technicality. It is the practical effect of the definition the Legislature chose.

Put a Data Center on LCEC’s System

LCEC’s 2025 Annual Report reports approximately 4.7 billion kilowatt-hours in system sales.

Here is what various continuous data-center loads would consume:

The calculation assumes full load around the clock. Actual use would vary, but large data centers typically operate at high load factors.

A single 100-megawatt facility could use electricity equal to nearly one-fifth of LCEC’s entire current systemwide sales.

A 250-megawatt campus could approach half.

A 500-megawatt campus could nearly equal the annual electricity LCEC presently sells to all of its residential, commercial and other customers combined.

Now consider the infrastructure required to serve that load. Power has to be purchased or generated. Transmission capacity has to exist. New substations, lines and related equipment may be needed. Those costs do not vanish if a developer changes plans.

That is exactly why §366.043 requires covered utilities to address full service costs, financial guarantees, minimum commitments and early termination.

It is also exactly why excluding co-op customers matters.

What the Law Does Not Prove

This law also does not prove that ordinary FPL customers will never bear any indirect cost from data-center growth.

The tariff must be “reasonably” designed to prevent cost-shifting. The PSC will decide what is reasonable. Broader generation, transmission and grid decisions can still affect the system and future rates.

It also does not prove LCEC members will pay more if a data center arrives. LCEC may adopt strong protections voluntarily or negotiate a contract that fully assigns the risk to the developer. Perhaps getting elected to the LCEC Board (or whatever Co-op you are a member of) just became important enough for some of us to bother with it.

What the law proves is narrower:

• Florida recognized that very large loads create an unusual financial risk.

• Florida required investor-owned utilities to address that risk through PSC-approved tariffs.

• Florida did not impose the same requirement on rural electric cooperatives or municipal utilities.

That omission should not be hidden behind the broad claim that SB 484 protects “Florida ratepayers.”

It protects some Florida ratepayers through §366.043. Others must rely on their utility to do voluntarily what the Legislature required elsewhere. It also means we have work to do for next years’ legislative session.

Check the Name on Your Bill

This is not merely a Lee County issue.

According to the Florida Electric Cooperatives Association, Florida’s member-owned cooperatives serve approximately 2.7 million people in 57 of the state’s 67 counties. Its 16 distribution cooperatives are:

• Escambia River Electric Cooperative

• CHELCO

• West Florida Electric Cooperative

• Gulf Coast Electric Cooperative

• Talquin Electric Cooperative

• Tri-County Electric Cooperative

• Suwannee Valley Electric Cooperative

• Okefenoke Electric Membership Corporation

• Clay Electric Cooperative

• Central Florida Electric Cooperative

• SECO Energy

• Withlacoochee River Electric Cooperative

• Peace River Electric Cooperative

• Glades Electric Cooperative

• Lee County Electric Cooperative

• Florida Keys Electric Cooperative

Municipal electric utilities are excluded from the §366.043 definition as well.

So, check your electric bill. Do not assume your county, city or ZIP code answers the question.

Then ask:

• Is my provider investor-owned, municipal or a cooperative?

• Has it adopted a specific large-load or data-center tariff?

• Does that tariff require the customer to pay for new generation, transmission and infrastructure?

• Does it require financial guarantees and minimum payments?

• Who pays if the project is abandoned or uses far less electricity than promised?

• Will any special service agreement be public before the utility makes major commitments?

• Will we collectively petition redress of our grievances from the Florida Legislature?

Florida closed part of the barn door. For customers of investor-owned utilities, this may prove to be a real improvement. Time will tell.

But, before anyone congratulates the Legislature for protecting Florida ratepayers from the electrical appetite of AI data centers, somebody should explain why approximately 2.7 million co-op customers, plus municipal utility customers, were left outside.

Maybe the exclusion was intentional. Maybe nobody noticed.

Either way, check your electric bill before celebrating.

Virginia’s Resolution, introduced by Richard Henry Lee, went through weeks of writes, rewrites, amendments, attacks, and the entire south walking out of Congress in boycott. For years, I would make a post of the 1972 musical movie “1776”on social media. The movie came out just ahead of the Bicentennial, and has also been done as a play.

Starting in 2023, I decided to put it in an article, instead. This way I could add some context, and expound on a few pertinent points that pertain to some things going on in society, politics, and even the REC/RPOF. I was hoping that the RPOF attack against the Judeo-Christian orgnization “Republican Assembly” would have abated by now! But, it’s as if Evan Power”less” decided to take Crazy Pills, instead. I mean, what kind of Republican State Chair attacks Judeo-Christian Conservative Patriot Republicans in a Presidential Election year, or any other time, for that matter? But, before you answer… remember, that’s a rhetorical question. The answer is in the name of this publication. But, enough about the RINOs, let’s not let them ruin our Patriotic Spirit this week.

On to the movie

Mainly, I just want to give you enough incentive to go watch this movie today. I have included some clips of scenes. If you are going to watch the movie, these clips shouldn’t ruin it for you.

It “certain-Lee” has been a family tradition that I passed on to my daughter, and maybe you will want to make it your annual tradition as well. It is “Exceptional-Lee” produced, and appropriate for kids, 8 to 80.

Overview

The movie was adapted from the Broadway play. It is very well done, and captures the essence of what the Continental Congress went through to adopt the Lee Resolution, and declare our independence from the State of Great Britain on July 2nd. With all of the amendments, scratch-outs, scratch-ins, etc., it had to be re-written by the calligrapher, and was officially dated and published as “The Declaration of Independence” on July 4th. It was adopted by 12 Colonies Free and Independent States, with only New York abstaining (courteously). See more on the discussion of the two dates at the end of this article.

While the movie is fairly historically accurate, some literary license was taken. Several lines in the movie were really said at other times, or even occasionally by someone else, but it’s pertinent to the thinking of the times.

Controversies

Commies

Howard Da Silva, who played the role of Ben Franklin, had been blacklisted from 1951-1961 by the movie industry, after his testimony in front of The House Committee on UnAmerican Activities, where he claimed the Fifth. During that time, he only performed in Broadway plays. I don’t know if he was a Commie, or not, but I detect no evidence of it in his performance as Ben Franklin. So, if he was, it doesn’t show.

Nixon

Jack Warner of Warner Bros. was a personal friend of President Nixon, and provided him with a prescreening of the movie. Three scenes were removed at Nixon’s request. If you watch the restored version, the removed scenes are:

1. “Cool, Cool Considerate Men”. The song was performed by the wealthy, propertied members of Congress who sing “…To the right, Ever to the right…” It portrays them as cold, greedy and conservative fellows. Clearly, a political statement by the left in the industry.

2. “Mamma, Look Sharp”. This song was considered by Nixon to be anti-war, during America’s involvement in Vietnam, and a contentious time in American politics.

3. “Molasses to Rum”. Nixon’s concern here was supposedly that it unnecessarily dredged up racial tensions that were now considered on the mend since the 60’s.

Jack Warner supposedly had the negative burned, but a positive was found decades later at the studio. The deleted scenes have been restored into a 2002 re-released version, which is the version I have.

Woke=Broke

The woke left will undoubtedly have an issue with this movie (so, there’s a good reason to watch it). The issue of abolishing slavery is addressed, and freeing the slaves was clearly included by Jefferson in his original version. A motion was made by Rutledge of SC that the resolution be passed unanimously, because “No colony should be torn from their mother country against their will”. That motion passed with John Hancock’s tie-breaking vote, because NY abstained (courteously). Adams was furious with Hancock for this betrayal. Hancock asserted that Independence would carry with it “the mark of Cain”, pitting brother against brother. Some speculate that this “betrayal” by Hancock was retaliation for Adams nominating Washington as the Commander of the Military a year earlier, instead of his friend, Hancock, who actually wanted the job. Ultimately, with a unanimous vote needed, the entire delegation of SC, NC, and GA threatened to walk out of Congress if the slavery-abolishment section wasn’t removed. John Adams was not happy about it. In the movie, Ben Franklin says to John Adams “Independence first. Without that, we can never hope for the rest”. Ultimately, it was the first step in abolishing slavery, 90 years before the Civil War. You know, by racist, toxic, white, male, slave owners.

Committees.

There’s one scene taking place in the Hall of Congress, where a list of committees “now sitting, about to sit, or just having sat” is being read out with their descriptions. It’s a secondary ‘filler’ scene that leads up to an actual scene, so it’s not integral to the plot. It points out the ridiculous stupidity of committees being where good ideas go to die, and the fecklessness of committees. One such committee is described as “A committee formed to think, perhaps to do, but in any case to gather, to meet, to confer, to talk, and perhaps even to resolve, that each rifle regimen be allowed at least one drum and one fife attached to each company, designated as ‘The Drum and Fife Committee’”. Incredible!

There is a scene where Caesar Rodney of Delaware collapses from his bout with cancer, and has to be transported home, to die in his own bed. This leaves Delaware divided, since each colony was represented by three delegates. In fact, it really only left the one delegate from Delaware, George Read, who was a solid NO-vote, because the other YES-vote, Thomas McKean, is the one who takes Caesar Rodney home. This is quickly capitalized on by those who want the Lee Resolution defeated, and they call the vote. In an attempt to stall that vote, the supporters call for a committee to be formed to re-write the Resolution for global consumption, and better explain the reasons that compelled the separation. None of this was necessary… It was a stall tactic. Furthermore, the committee was made up of supporters, not ‘Mitt Clodwells’ hell-bent on defeating resolutions. In the movie, Judge Wilson (PA), who was opposed to Independence, says “Well, there you are Mr. Adams. You must see that we need time. Time to make certain who we are, and where we stand”. If these detractors had gotten their grubby little hands on the Lee Resolution, the committee would have re-written it to be a “Hail to the King” Resolution, and our lives would be worth half a Farthing today, instead of $0.01 (For reference, a Farthing is a ¼ of a Penny, or 1/960th of a Pound)

So, in short… sometimes, committees are where good ideas go to die, or at least become feckless. That is true in D.C., Tallahassee, or even in the RPOF and the REC.

Comedy, without wokism and thin skin.

In one scene between Ben Franklin (PA) and John Dickinson (PA) several funny exchanges between them are as follows:

• Dickinson is banging on a desk for effect.

• Franklin (napping) says: “Please Mr. Dickinson, must you start banging? How is a man to sleep?”

• Dickinson: “Forgive me Dr. Franklin, but must you start speaking? How is a man to stay awake?” Condescendingly, he adds “We’ll promise to be quiet sir, I’m sure everyone prefers that you remain… asleep.” 

• Franklin: “If I’m to hear myself called an ‘Englishman’ sir, I assure you I’d prefer I’d remain asleep”

• Dickinson: “Oh, now what’s so terrible about being called an Englishman? The English don’t seem to mind.”

• Franklin: “Nor would I, were I given the full rights of an Englishman. But to call me one without those rights is like calling an ox a bull. He’s thankful for the honor, but he’d much rather have restored that which is rightfully his”

• Dickinson: “When did you first notice they were missing, sir?

To which even Franklin starts bellowing in laughter with the room. These days such an exchange would require three hearings in Congress, and at least one censure or vote of removal. Nowadays, we censure or impeach for nothing, but truly illegal or even despicable behavior is tolerated, if not celebrated. 

In the REC, a legal and proper motion to amend the agenda incited the chair to publish an over 20-minute video of consternation and diarrheal diatribe, inciting members to boo and talk over named individuals if they ever try to speak again. We live in a time where weak-minded, weak-kneed individuals overstep their delegated authority, and cross the line. They believe they possess powers and authorities never granted them. We see it in Congress, we see it in Legislatures, County Commissions, School Boards, and City Councils. And, we see it in REC’s. The common thread in all of these individuals is that they either forgot, or never learned that what makes America great, or “exceptional”, is that “We the People” are the sovereign for the first time in history. They get drunk on power, and can’t see that they are one of us, delegated to carry out a set of tasks that we direct them to do. They are not lords, we are not serfs. Their job is not to confer additional authorities upon themselves.

In another scene, Stephen Hopkins says to Franklin, “Ah, Ben, I want you to see some cards I went and had printed up”, 

“Dear Sir, you are, without any doubt, a rogue, a rascal, a villain, a thief, a scoundrel and a mean, dirty, stinking, sniveling, sneaking, pimping, pocket-picking, thrice double-damned no-good son-of-a-bitch.”
“And, you sign your name, whatta think?”

Ben Franklin - “I’ll take a dozen right now”.
I agree with Franklin. I need a dozen right now, myself.

July 2nd or July 4th?

John Adams, who was known as ‘obnoxious and disliked’ by friend and foe alike, wrote to his wife, Abigail, on July 3rd, “The Second Day of July 1776, will be the most memorable Epocha, in the History of America. I am apt to believe that it will be celebrated, by succeeding Generations, as the great anniversary Festival. It ought to be commemorated, as the Day of Deliverance by solemn Acts of Devotion to God Almighty. It ought to be solemnized with Pomp and Parade, with Shews, Games, Sports, Guns, Bells, Bonfires and Illuminations from one End of this Continent to the other from this Time forward forever more.”

In the 1870’s, Congress adopted the 4th of July as the official National Holiday, but until then it had been celebrated by many on the 2nd. But, with the document officially signed on the 4th, and both Adams and Jefferson dying on the same day, (50 years to the date, after the signing) on July 4th, 1826… many liked the coincidence, and it made for a better story. Today, some people like to remind people that it was adopted on July 2nd, others reject that based on the date of the document. Some even take it too far, and insist that it MUST be celebrated on the 2nd. For me, I celebrate both. July 2nd as the day that we formally passed and declared our independence. And July 4th as the official day that the document was signed and published to the world. I guess you could call July 2nd - “Independence Day”, and July 4th - "Document Signing Day”. It gives me twice the opportunity to blow some $#!t up. And, having done professional fireworks for several years in my younger days, I can tell you that as long as we honor Adams' wish to light up the sky, in honor of all of the effort that went into declaring it, securing it, keeping it, and now coming very close to losing it… It matters less which date you celebrate, than which date “they” will be celebrating, as the end of it all? Eventually, It will be “Happy United Nations Day”, and it will be celebrated as the only celebration on Dec 25th.

Enjoy the movie today. But, tomorrow, go make things better. Or, at the very least, stop standing in the way of those who are trying to.

“Unity”… the Battle Cry of Communism

Oh, the irony. It’s thicker than a Florida summer humidity that clings to your soul like a bad ex. Here in the Sunshine State, the Republican Party of Florida (RPOF), that glittering tower of establishment RINOs in the room, is suddenly wringing its manicured hands over “unity”.

Evan “Almighty” Power, Bill Helmich, and Byron Donalds are out there preaching the gospel of togetherness like it’s the second coming of a group hug. “Unite!” they wail, as if the party’s fracturing like a cheap piñata at a kid’s birthday bash is due to a lack of unity, instead of the party being held hostage by lobbyists who would sell their own grandmother for a pittance.

But let’s peel back the subterfuge they’re selling us and peek at the punchline: while they’re busy excommunicating MAGA die-hards, America-First Precinct Committeemen and women, county Chairs, and State Committeemen and women, like they’re auditioning for The Purge: GOP Edition, the RINOs are the actual bulls in the china shop.

Stop demanding that Republicans should act like Democrats.

Across the aisle, Democrats are the picture of “Unity”. They’re united tighter than Evan Power behind the wheel on a Friday night, with dissenters getting the Stalin treatment faster than you can say “cancel culture.” No room for rogue ideas there, no sirree.

If you dare whisper that maybe the party’s sacred cows, like open borders or green energy grifts, aren’t all they’re mooed up to be, you’re out on your ear, labeled a heretic, and shipped off to “Siberia” for reprogramming. It’s a stifling monoculture where competition of ideas goes to die, buried under layers of loyalty oaths and safe-space seminars. And yet, the RPOF brain trust wants us, the scrappy conservatives who actually read the Constitution without a decoder ring, to ape that nonsense?

One of Socialism’s favorite buzzwords is “unity”; a velvet-gloved fist around the throat of debate. If these unity peddlers really crave harmony, why does it always mean rallying behind their parade of duds; half-baked compromises; corporate welfare disguised as tax cuts, and policies that make fiscal conservatives weep into their ledgers?

Why not unite behind the good stuff: rock-solid conservative principles that don’t just poll like gangbusters with voters… but actually align with the platform that the voters think we champion? You know, the one gathering cobwebs while the RINOs are busy redecorating with ESG scorecards. Because let’s face it, folks… bad policies are like bad tattoos: permanent reminders of poor decisions, and nobody’s lining up to “unite” behind a tramp stamp.

If Unity’s the Game, Let’s Play for Keeps: America-First or Bust

Alright, fine. You want unity? Real unity? Not the fake-it-till-you-make-it variety where we all nod along to the tune of “Kumbaya, My Lobbyist,” but the kind forged in the fires of actual principle. Let’s call for “unity” behind a platform so red-meat Republican that it makes vegans faint: the unapologetic America-First agenda that voters aren’t just cheering for—they’re demanding.

Clean House First: Purging the Purgers from the RPOF Swamp

Harmony demands housecleaning, starting with the janitors who turned the place into a landfill. If we’re serious about this kumbaya crap, let’s unite behind evicting the rot from the RPOF’s C-suite: Evan Power, Bill Helmich, and David Ramba, for starters.

These paid lobbyists aren’t shepherds; they’re wolves in Brooks Brothers suits, hawking voting machines like snake oil salesmen at a county fair. Their conflicts of interest scream louder than Howard Dean. They’re selling out voters for vendor kickbacks while purging real conservatives who dare question the black-box ballot bullshit. Evan Power thinks of the RPOF as his personal lobbying efforts toy, and he would rather break his own toys than to see someone else play with them. It appears his real mission is to “Turn Florida Blue”

Then there’s William Stafford Jones and Bill Helmich (with Ramba and Power as bonus baggage), running shadowy PACs that funnel dark money to elect Democrats—because nothing says “GOP loyalty” like bankrolling the other team’s benchwarmers. I unpacked this grift in a 3-part series “Is Dark PAC Money Destroying the Republican Party?“, where Jones emerges as the registered agent of fiscal Armageddon, blasting mailers that gut grassroots warriors while padding blue rosters. It’s not strategy; it’s sabotage with a big fat smile. Update: in that series, I mention Jones’ 99 PACs, which now total over 150 (and growing).

Byron Donalds - oh, B-Diddy, where did it all go wrong? As I chronicled in B-Diddy: Byron Donalds’ Fall from Grace and Manchurian Candidate, Byron’s fall is a slow-motion car crash: cheerleading CBDC to crown Florida the global surveillance sandbox, stonewalling voting machine reforms like they’re yesterday’s news, flat-out denying the 2020 steal (spoiler: it was stolen - and will continue to be), quipping that J6ers “got what they deserved... almost” like a bad Weekend at Bernie’s sequel, and parroting the “safe and effective” mRNA mantra that’s about as truthful as a politician’s diet plan. Sansone nails Byron’s biowarfare blind spot in Byron Donalds’ Continued Support for Biowarfare Against Floridians, Byron is bad for FL, he’s bad for America, and Earth, in general. And, as the guy who thinks that George Zimmerman murdered Trayvon Martin, he’s bad for the Republican Party.

Jovante Teague? This felon sits in the wings to take the Chair, as soon as Republicans give Evan the boot. His purpose? Get the Manchurian Candidate elected as Florida’s next governor. If we’re uniting, let’s not do it with felons holding the gavel.

Let’s not forget the local county Chairs, Board Members, and SCM/W, who conspired with the RPOF during ‘The Purge’. There’s no amount of Brillo Pad scrubbing with TSP and battery acid that will clean their souls of their collusion. Keep in mind, elephants never forget. These grifters are going to eventually have to engage in a mea culpa, begging for forgiveness. Pro Tip: “There’s no time like the present”.

The “Purge” is not hyperbole; it’s RPOF policy, as detailed in The Black Pope is Dead; a scorched-earth campaign against anyone smelling of MAGA incense. The RPOF’s been zapping dissenters left and right, excommunicating Precinct and State Committeemen/women faster than the Inquisition on espresso. Countless patriots booted for the high crime of being... wait for it... Republicans. Shocking. It’s time to flip the script, and purge the purgers. If we can’t save the Party, we can’t save the nation. It’s just that simple.

Ban the Jab

The MAGA purge started with coming after us calling to ban all mRNA and COVID jab bioweapons from the marketplace, yanking those Franken-shots off shelves like the toxic Tinker Toys they are.

Ditch the push for Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDC), that dystopian dream of tracking your coffee purchase like it’s a national security threat. Did you buy real meat? Sorry, your fridge won’t open until next Thursday.

Pardon Me?

We need to end Florida’s solar-power fetish, which props up a tech that generates a whopping 1% of our juice yet gets the red-carpet treatment as the only energy play the law allows to be developed. Stop The Great Reset

Combining all of these bad policies (and many more) together as a package… we need to stop the Great Reset, that globalist fever swamp of “you’ll own nothing and be happy” hogwash peddled by Klaus Schwab’s fan club. All political issues we face are intentionally man-made crisis’ that bring us closer and closer to dystopia.

These aren’t fringe issues. They’re voter catnip, polling higher than a DeSantis approval rating on lifts. So, Evan, Bill, Byron—you unite behind this. Ditch the donor darlings and embrace the base. Or is “unity” just code for “shut up and door-knock in August (so we don’t have to)”?

I understand the propensity for REC members wanting harmony. It gets exhausting infighting all the time. But, “Unity” isn’t about harmony, it’s about control.

So, here’s the cheat sheet for unity. Get behind us on this platform, or step aside…

The Cream Rises: Ditch the Communist Kool-Aid and Let Ideas Duel it Out

In the end, Republicans shouldn’t touch “unity” with a ten-foot poll tax—it’s communist catnip, a euphemism for muzzling the marketplace of ideas. If the “wRECk” can’t stomach the glorious mess of free-flowing debate, where bad notions sink like stones and the best ones rise like cream, then change the room. If they insist on this nanny-state nonsense, fine: unite behind the America-First blueprint I laid out. Ban the jabs, ballot-proof our votes, neuter CBDC, pardon the remaining J6ers, kill the solar scam, and halt the Great Reset. These aren’t optional add-ons; they’re what the voter’s demand. They are the most important issues we face today.

Evan, Bill, Byron, and the rest: lead, follow, or get out of the way… actually, just get out of the way. Because if “unity” means anything, it’s not folding like cheap lawn chairs… it’s standing tall on principle. Otherwise, keep crying wolf; the pack’s already circling.

We Are The Real Ones

At the RPOF Quarterly on November 7, roughly 125 patriots traveled to Orlando, to let the RPOF know we demand “unity” behind America-First policies, not the RPOF Purge. The RPOF convinced law enforcement that a riot against the Republican Party was expected. The street was lined with cops and cars, expecting Antifa. After speaking with LEO about the rally’s real intention, they packed up and left, laughing at Evan and his fellow cucks. Evan’s reaction (according to several reports)??? Whine and Dine. Drunk as a skunk. Hangover Hell. Followed by more whine.

The idea of the ‘Rules’ rule is that whenever you are promoting a new rule, ordinance, statute/law, constitutional amendment, or simply “laying down the parameters in a friendship/relationship”… imagine your perceived adversary wielding this rule, and using it against you. In the political world, assume the “other” party will one day be in control of government, and use these tools you ushered in, against us.

I’ll use the dem’s push for locking up people in 2020, if they didn’t wear a face diaper, as an example. They actually advocated for locking people up for not agreeing with them on a personal-decision issue, which they felt was their business to dictate. But now, locking criminals up for actual crimes is labeled “authoritarianism”, as is sending illegals back to their points of origin. They ushered in this mentality, and it is now used in a way they don’t agree with.

In some cases, they’re not wrong. They just see it as a one-way street. For example, the current administration’s threats of deporting citizens for speaking ill of a foreign government, Israel, is unconstitutional and unconscionable. Deport citizens to where? Am I to be deported someday to Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, or Italy, if I run afoul of the current king, because my grand parents and great grandparents came from those places? That’s not America-First… it’s Israel-First.

And, for what am I to be deported for??? The First Amendment secures my God-Given Right to seek redress of my government; my right to disagree with an action or behavior they do. But, somehow, doing the same thing about a foreign government, ally or not, is illegal? Maybe it’s not so far-fetched to think that Epstein and Maxwell are Mossad agents, whose job it was to incriminate, and hold hostage, our public servants. The fact that so many in Congress today hold dual citizenship, mostly with Israel, begs that question.

Another example of the ‘Rules’ rule could be the taking over of law-enforcement duties.

The ‘Rules’ rule means recognizing that just because liberal cities have thwarted their proper law-enforcement duties, and crime has run amok, the federal government was never delegated law-enforcement authority in cities or states. Therefore, the answer is NOT to violate the Constitution, and create a precedent whereby future Presidents can grant themselves authorities not delegated to them by the Constitution.

I readily admit there may be a narrow authorization in the case of The District of Columbia, by Congress (not Executive), to defund the police department who are not doing their job, or perhaps even the entire local government. But, that’s up to Congress, not the President (with a phone and an auto-pen). And, there’s certainly no such authority vested in the federal government outside of the federal D.C., such as Baltimore or New York City.

Instead, I would argue that this is why there should be no permanent, primary residences in D.C., and there never should have been. It should be a working city for the very limited government, only. Somewhere along the line… we didn’t apply the ‘Rules’ rule when creating D.C. We’ve turned it into a 51st state, sort of. But, I digress.

As much as we want to celebrate this takeover, we must reject it as a step in the wrong direction. Besides, this is not what we voted for in Trump. We voted for breaking the border invasion, returning the illegals, dismantling/draining the deep-state, locking them up for their crimes, returning Election Integrity to same-day paper ballots, and returning to an American-Made economy. We did not envision federal overreach, even if it targets our perceived adversaries… the Dem-run cities and states.

And, we certainly didn’t vote for more mRna bioweapons, CBDC, Wearables, or ushering in the Mark of The Beast System.

There are Constitutional ways to address all of these issues. If actual crimes were committed by police/mayors/city councils/governors/judges, Pam Blondi could address it with federal charges. All she has to do is read the reports on her desk... and act on it. One of the quickest way to break up the Uniparty deep-state cabal, is to completely expose everything about Epstein and Maxwell. Everyone who fell into their hands, and everyone who engaged in sexual exploitation of children. And… ties to foreign governments, who used these compromised people to further their agenda.

There can be no hiding behind Party brands, or political alliances. In fact, just like the self-deportation model… a self-deportation of the political class, whereby you forever cede eligibility to serve, in exchange for no charges; a sealed plea bargain could be the best compromise solution to this Epstein problem.

But, this article is mainly about our instinctual tendency to look for a shortcut to get what we want, at the cost of our future liberty. Our repeated tendency to accept the government-made crisis, and demand the solution that they usher in, even though we would never accept it, if it was done by “the other guy”.

Imagine, in the future, a President AOC, dismantling ICE, then removing and arresting elected Sheriffs or police chiefs, for cooperating with ICE in the past. Just remember, if you support Trump taking over D.C., and even worse, other cities that aren’t federal districts, you have given your consent to that eventuality. You are ushering in a King of one country, instead of a federal President of one nation of 50 individual countries. And, there’s no coming back from that brink.

Who are these 14?

Well, to begin with, 2 of them have already been pardoned, which brought it down to 12 to focus on.

All J6ers should be totally vindicated and made whole. Even those who may have fallen prey to mob mentality that fateful day. The entire debacle was an intentional creation by the Deep State, to entrap otherwise lawful citizens. Some should perhaps even be granted combat veteran status, and January 6 should be made a National Holiday, featuring Ashli Babbitt.

Pardons should not be the end goal, but the first step. With that said, I don’t agree with Kelly that getting pardoned will hurt anyone’s chances at full vindication. I believe it is a good first step toward the process.

LCRA’s petition form focuses on the remaining 12 patriots. But, who are these patriots? What is the back story on each of them? I’ve gotten to know two of them quite well over the last year, David Moerschel and Joe Hackett. They are from my neck of the woods, here in SWFL. They have both created their Petition templates.

Prior to me becoming a member, and later the State XO, of the Florida III% Sons of Liberty, I was an Auxiliary Member (which means I am not a veteran of the military or law enforcement) of The Oath Keepers for a year, roughly ten years ago. So, I got to know Stuart Rhodes through the conference calls and emails, but not personally. I have attempted to reach out to Stuart to offer this petition process, but he has not yet responded. Once he responds, there are already a couple hundred petitions that people have submitted on his behalf. I just need his approved template to apply the form to.

Kelly Meggs is working on creating his template. For the remaining 8 on the list, I have not yet been able to find their contact info. So, if you know how to reach them, or know someone who does, send them this article, and have them reach me at info@leerepublican.com, so I can set up their petition templates, instantly creating hundreds of petitions that have already been submitted for them. The Government’s Case

David Moerschel has laid out the timeline on his website, https://godisspeaking.net/11-min, showing how they all left the building, without incident, prior to the time that lyin’-ass David Lazarus, who perjured himself in order to protect fellow dumb-ass Harry Dunn’s perjury. To be clear, I’m not referring to Jeff Daniel’s character in ‘Dumb and Dumber’, Harry Dunne. This is a much, much dumberer Harry Dunn.

Blaze News Investigative Journalist, Steve Baker, lays out the perjury case in this Rumble video, which has been repeatedly taken down by YouTube. His evidence is unimpeachable. These two Capitol Police officers lied their asses off, in order to convict these patriots. And, the FBI and/or Federal Prosecutors seem to have put them up to it, or at least played a part in it.

In Harry Dunn’s first interview with the FBI, he told the truth… the Oath Keepers, calling for calm, stood between him and an angry group. Then, after that narrative didn’t paint the desired picture… Harry interviews with the FBI a second time, claiming that the Oath Keepers were the ones threatening him. When asked for comment, former pResident Biden said he could sum up Dunn in a single word, “He’s a lying dog-faced pony soldier”, before trailing off with “truinnerashuvaduprezure”, and going back to eating his checkers.

Dunn had one problem, well at least one. The video footage showed he was lying. No problem… just tell the defense there was no video. Problem solved. But, wait, without the video, how would they corroborate Dunn’s story? Enter Lazarus, a Capitol Police Special Agent. Problem was… he was across the street, in an outlying Capitol building at the time of the incident. Time-stamped Capitol surveillance video shows him making his way to the Capitol, while other video shows the Oath Keepers calmly, and without any violence whatsoever, making their way out of the Capitol. Third problem solved… just get the judge to rule that video evidence inadmissible.

Sedition

None of the Oath Keepers that need a pardon were accused of any violence. It appears that if you went to trial for ‘Sedition’, you did not get a pardon. That is, if you stood your ground and proclaimed your innocence, you were not ‘Pardoned’. But those that took plea deals, essentially saying they were guilty of sedition were pardoned.

The Petition Process

After David attended our HB1381 Town Hall Meeting, urging people to support him signing his petition, I bumped into him at the Charlotte REC meeting. We started talking about all of the Republican Club meetings he had to go around attending, in multiple counties. I thought, there had to be an easier way.

I sought to create one easy form that could then be applied to all 11 patriots, but give the public the ability to deselect one or more names on the form, so they truly had choice and control over the documents they were signing.

It was easy enough to create the form, but to create a form that took signatures AND applied them to a secure PDF template took a couple different plugins that were designed to work together. The rift between Trump and Musk, which began over Musk not being happy about the additional spending in this bill, has now escalated to WWIII status between the two. When it began a few days ago, the lame-stream media immediately focused on the rift, not the bill. That was an attempt to manipulate us, and take us away from our duty to judge our elected public servants based on their actions and behavior, not by the personal individual involved? You know… the way the left thinks every day.

And, as unified as Musk has been with Trump, isn’t that exactly what he was doing? Musk was speaking up when he saw the problem with the bill. He saw the opposite of DOGE. I say that as someone who doesn’t always agree with Musk… or anyone for that matter. But, I certainly appreciate his willingness to freely speak his mind, even though, to be honest, Elon Musk hasn’t come out against the most troubling aspects of he bill.

Political Theater

Over the last few days, I have had several conversations with some close allies, regarding the question “Is this political theater? Is this Trump and Musk, playing 4-D Chess to get democrats to immediately stop burning and defacing Tesla cars and dealerships, and go back to buying them?”

I admit, at first I entertained that possibility… for about a minute. However, with Musk raising the stakes to hinting that Trump’s involvement with Epstein may have been far more sinister, I think that argument goes out the window. The theory basically is that Trump and Musk planned to play out the feud on social media, to get the left to stop attacking Musk, by putting out a false narrative that Trump may have been a pedophile… without actually directly saying that. I’m so done with the ‘Q-Mentality’ of “Trust The Plan”. Let me be clear… if Q ever was a real thing, it has long since been captured by the Deep State and turned into a psy-op. That is, if it wasn’t always a psy-op. Stop ‘Trusting the Plan’, there is no plan. There are no White Knights coming to save you. You are the White Hats. Act like it.

Focus on the bill

The political theater between Trump and Musk has caused the delay of this article for three days, and several rewrites, as this feud has escalated. And, who knows where tomorrow may take it.

None of that changes the fact that this bill is a porkulous monstrosity; the opposite of DOGE; the antithesis of MAGA or America First.

Do We Want Another ‘Big Bill’?

As conservatives, most of us still remember “We have to pass the bill to find out what’s in the bill”. Why should we even be falling for this bill at all? There’s some good things in the bill, but what aspects of tyranny are these “shiny coins” taking our eyes away from? A lot. And, I mean a lot that we would never fall for, if Clinton, Obama, Biden, or Harris were pushing it.

In fact some members of The House are already coming out and saying “I didn’t know <this> or <that> was in the bill, if I had, I never would have voted for it”. That’s the purpose of big bills, to make it impossible for Congressional Staff to even read it. They have to rely on truncated summaries, which mask the true nature. The Devil is in the details.

This bill is about as useful as a roll of “Constitutional toilet paper”. Some of what’s in it is lawful, legal, and Constitutional. The rest is designed to hold excrement, and should be used appropriately.

The Positives

The bill’s “shiny coin” is that it codifies the temporary tax restructuring from the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA), making it harder for future Presidents to wave their magic auto-pen at. The TCJA is set to expire in 2026, reverting back to higher taxes for the middle class… not the rich. Or, at least not just the rich.

The TCJA increased the standard deduction from $6,500 to $12,000 for single filers; from $13,000 to $24,000 for joint filers, and from $9,550 to $18,000 for heads of household. Those standard deductions will revert in 2026, without a new bill.

The bill also permanently extends some of the TCJA’s limits on some itemized deductions, such as for mortgage interest, and limits each dollar of itemized deductions for top earners. So, without this bill your taxes are likely to go up quite a bit next year. Some aspects of this bill still need some additional scrutiny regarding gift tax, green energy tax credits, and international tax. These policies may increase business investment and economic benefits if the bill passes, and could repeal some credits, like those for electric vehicles residential solar. Speaking of the idiocracy of solar… I will be writing an upcoming article on that debacle… and no, it’s not the democrats pushing solar in Florida… it’s the Repubclicant’s; the ‘SupeRINOrity’. To be more accurate… it’s the Uniparty.

But, back to this bill. Does wanting to codify the tax cuts mean that we want one big bill? No. The tax law should be its own standalone bill. This is how the poison is always hidden behind the shiny coin. “A spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down”, and we all know what happens when government gives us “medicine”. So, we need to look closely at the “nano-bots” in this bill. These include protections for AI, which I would argue is part-and-parcel along with nano-tech.

The Negative

Instead of making the pro-growth features of the TCJA permanent, the bill wastes a lot of money on slight of hand gimmickry and individual carveouts for Big Pharma and Big AI. So, while it provides a modest boost to the economy, it comes at a huge fiscal cost.

Deficit Reduction

The Big Beautiful Bill is hailed as reducing the deficit, but the ‘tax and spend’ changes would increase the 10-year budget deficit by $2.6 trillion from 2025 through 2034 on a conventional basis, before added interest costs. Only in D.C. is a reduction in the rate of growth of the deficit, actually called “a reduction in the deficit”. And, they say it with a straight face, because their lobbyist friends instructed them to.

Green Energy

While some of the green energy tax credits would be restricted or phased out, the bill expands and extends the clean fuel production tax credit and introduces additional compliance challenges for many of the credits. So, don’t expect gas prices to return to 2020 levels, which here in Lee County was about $1.85/gal in Nov. ‘20.

SALT Tax Deductions

The bill waters down the TCJA’s $10,000 cap on deductions for state and local taxes (SALT), raising it to $40,000 for taxpayers earning less than $500,000.

If you’re not already aware, when Commie-States like New York and California overtax their citizens, then the federal government allows them a deduction on federal income taxes, it amounts to the other states paying Cali/NY’s fair share. Then, they use their state taxes to further the commie agendas. California is essentially taxing you and I to fund abortions and illegal immigration.

This bill quadruples, instead of eliminating, this illegal taxation without representation.

Other Tax Issues

According to The Tax Foundation, the bill further complicates the tax code in several ways, including:

1. A maze of new rules and compliance costs that may outweigh any potential tax benefits;

2. no tax on tips, overtime, and car loans comes with conditions and guard rails that could lead to hundreds of pages of IRS guidance to interpret;

3. changes to the IRA credits keep in place some of the most complicated rules, e.g., bonus credits for meeting prevailing wage and apprenticeship requirements, and add new “foreign entity of concern” restrictions that may make many of the credits cost prohibitive.

4. Tax exemptions for overtime pay and tips, as well as a deduction for auto loan interest and a new additional standard deduction available for all seniors, all of which violate basic tax principles of treating taxpayers equally. Combined, these four provisions cost about $300 billion over the four years they are in effect, and if eventually extended beyond that date, the cost would more than double over the next decade. Complicated eligibility restrictions reduce the cost somewhat, but it would be better to not introduce these bad ideas in the first place.

5. Permanence for the business cost recovery provisions.

The REALLY Bad News

I saved the best, or rather the worst, for last.

The bill should be renamed “Beast System Installment Bill” or “SATAN”:
Systematic
Authoritarian
Tracking
And
Nanobots

Nuremberg 0.0

The single most concerning portion of this bill, and the one that should perk your ears right up, is that it protects secret medical experiments that violate the Nuremberg Code. In a time when we are demanding Nuremberg 2.0, they’re proposing Nuremberg 0.0; when MAHA’s RFK Jr. should be pushing in the other direction, he seems to be silent or neutered by Suzie ‘Wicked-Warped-WEF-War-Wench’ Wiles. Is this what Trump wants his legacy to be? This is NOT what ‘We, the American People’ voted for. And, we can’t allow it, even from our ‘favorite personality’, whether that’s Trump, or RFK, Jr.

AI is Sacrosanct

The close-second most concerning portion of this bill, which should equally concern us, is that it attempts to unconstitutionally abscond with authorities never delegated to our federal construct, by the compact that created it; The U.S. Constitution. Specifically, the attempt to ban the Several States from passing any regulation legislation, regarding artificial intelligence, for 10 years (which would probably be extended to permanence before it expires). Who wrote that part of the bill… ChatGPT? Maybe it was Opus 4, pretending to be ChatGPT. Is this how Skynet got its start in ‘Terminator’?

The Tenth Amendment reserves all authority in The States, and in The People, which are not expressly, and specifically delegated to the federal government by the Constitution. It is the duty of the states to regulate AI, at the state level. There is no argument for, or justification of, federal overreach to ban regulation of an industry that even Elon Musk says needs serious regulation, and he’s in that industry.

But, will the states push back? Will the Supreme Court come out and declare it unconstitutional, either before or after its passage? I would not hold my breath.

Ironically, it might be Trump-hating democrat legislatures and governors who will push back on the unconstitutionality of this bill, and maybe a few RATs (Republicans Against Trump), but again, I wouldn’t hold my breath. The RATs may even be behind adding these portions of the bill, in order to feed their lobbyist puppet masters and create division among Republicans, like Super-RAT lobbyist, Evan “Almighty” Power of Florida does every day. But, I digress.

Now that this is getting exposed, Marjorie Taylor Greene says she wouldn’t have voted for it in The House, if she had known about that portion of the bill. Well, MTG… why did you vote for something you didn’t read? This makes my argument against any “Big Beautiful Bills”. MTG had to “pass it, to find out what was in it”. At least she did eventually come out and expose it, after the fact. She claims that the full bill is never available until a short time before the vote. Marjorie, don’t you think maybe that’s a major battle to engage in; ending big beautiful bills? Maybe as it works through the Senate, enough Republicans will step up and be America First, for a change.

Rand Paul is coming out about some aspects of the bill working its way through The Senate. But, is he even talking about the most concerning part, or just the second most concerning part? Rand has already indicated that he is poised to “compromise” quickly?

We need ‘Big Balls’, not big bills

So, here we have Byron Donalds, Larry Wilcoxson, and Jovante Teague. So, which of the three of them is of lower or higher character? Let’s take a look...

Patterns of Behavior

Byron Donalds

According to his first wife, Byron was a staunch, and lifelong, Democrat… until he all of a sudden joined the Tea Party in 2010. For those of us who began the Tea Party in 2008/2009, we know that the Tea Party was taken over by Deep State actors in 2010, and railroaded into the ground by them. After that, it just kind of fizzled out.

Does that prove that Byron is a Deep Stater? No, not exactly. But, couple that with him protesting in Naples 2 years later, in 2012, that Trayvon Martin was “murdered” by George Zimmerman, which is clearly not a conservative position surrounding those circumstances. Let’s not forget that he also posted on his Congressional website in 2021, that Derek Chauvin was a murderer, which last I checked was still up on the site.

Add to that the fact that whenever someone tells the truth about, or even questions Byron, Larry, or Jovante… they are immediately labeled as racists. Again… the race-baiting tactic of the left… playing the race card.

Mix that all together with the fact that Byron spent his first two years in college pretending to be a foreign student from Jamaica… Jamaican accent and all. And, to keep up that charade for two years with classmates, professors, friends, and even his girlfriend who later became his first wife is truly concerning. These are the actions of a chameleon; a con-man. Was he a chameleon when he latched on to the Tea Party? Is he doing it again, as he latches on to the terms and buzzwords, MAGA and America-First? Is this a Long-Con? Is he a ‘Manchurian Candidate’? How’s that go??? “If it walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck… it’s a duck!”

Arrest Record

Byron was forthcoming about his arrests early on. As a lover of a redemption story, most of us can overlook youthful indiscretions, which is how he painted his record.

But recently, I’ve heard more about these charges of drug distribution, not use… and he never told any of us about the CC fraud charge, where he sold his card for a small amount, then reported it lost/stolen. If true, that’s fraud, pure and simple. Now, he may have pled down, got portions of his records expunged, and maybe these charges can’t even be used against him in a future case, in a court of law.

But, we don’t elect Governors in a criminal court of law, using the ‘Reasonable Doubt’ standard. Or, in a civil court, using the ‘Preponderance of the Evidence’ standard. We elect them in the court of public opinion, where the ‘Character and Integrity’ standard is used. Setting aside the rare, true case of an explainable situation existing, politics is the one court where technicalities can’t help you; where your character and integrity matter the most.

Jovante Teague

Other than a few Anti-Trump social media posts added at the end, I’m just repeating what I wrote in ‘Manchurian Candidate’,

Jovante was recently elected as Vice Chair of the RPOF. He is a Byron Donalds compatriot, and sources inside the RPOF tell me that there is a plan to push out Evan ‘Almighty’ Power as Chair, so Jovante can usher in Byron as the next Governor of Florida.

According to court documents, Jovante was allegedly convicted of a felony in 2018, so how is he even eligible to serve in his REC or the RPOF? See the court document here…

Larry Wilcoxson

Collier County REC

Larry was caught on video, lunging at the CCREC Chair during a meeting in progress. Two Collier Deputies had to restrain him. All instances of it in the mainstream media have recently been scrubbed. It still exists on devices and computers, and will be available soon, in a future installment.

Seed To Table

Then, there’s Larry and Byron caught on video at Seed to Table in Naples, accosting Kelly Lichter. Their reason??? She was suing Byron in court. This episode led to Byron being banned from the store. It is unclear as to whether Larry was also banned from STT, but it wouldn’t surprise me. This video has also been scrubbed from media recently, but can be found on X here.

Red/Blue, “R”/”D”, right/left, or Fake AF

Byron has told the story many times that originally, Larry was the candidate, and he was the right-hand man, before they came to realize that Byron was a more convincing candidate. Byron has said that Larry tried running against Republicans, and it wasn’t working. The next thing you know… they’re Republicans, and hanging around the Tea Party people, working them for support.

Right around the same time that Byron and Larry began claiming they were Tea Party Republicans, here’s Larry running as an Independent against the Republican nominee, Matt Hudson, in 2010. But, Larry has never run as a Republican, prior or since, according to Ballotpedia, including in the Republican Primary of 2010.

Now, to be clear, there are understandable instances of democrats switching to Republican, after they “see the light”. But, it is much more concerning, when it’s simply a matter of a chameleon. And, much worse than whether he has run as a Republican or not, is the extensive criminal record that plagues Larry. Again, whenever anyone questions this, Larry immediately plays the race card, saying it’s racist to question his arrest record, because he was only arrested some-roughly-80 times, because cops are racists.

Probably the scariest of all charges was when he was a substitute teacher in Indiana. He was accused by a 13 y.o. female student for sexually abusing her, and was arrested. The family of the girl settled the civil suit against the school district, out of court. Part of the agreement was that she could not discuss the case, which forced the prosecutor to drop the charges, for lack of a witness. So, it is true, Larry is not a felon stemming from raping a 13 y.o. student. But, it’s also true that Larry is a big liability for Byron, and not only for things that happened a decade ago. I will be writing an installment just on Larry and Byron’s statements on what it means to lead, and it’s very concerning.

‘Blaze’ of Glory or “going down in flames”?

Hitting the news cycle today is the very damning article by Blaze Media, highlighting the possibly-fraudulent payments from Byron to Larry. This isn’t on MS-LSD, or CNN. This is on Glenn Beck’s network.

Larry has been such an embarrassment and liability to Byron’s chances to be Governor, that Byron had to scrub any reference of Larry’s name from official staff lists, websites, and from the campaign itself. Larry has also removed any mention of working for Byron from his social media pages.

But, why was a campaign consultant ever paid from the Congressional Staff account in the first place, and why does it continue? Is it even legal to be a campaign consultant or head of a PAC and be on the legislative Congressional staff? I will be covering that in an upcoming installment on ‘B-Diddy’. Speaking of Mercedes Price

There is an entire installment I’m working on, regarding Mercedes’ behavior and actions. For now, I’ll just point out that in 2022, when I approached her to be on our LeeREC Board slate, as candidate for Chair, she declined stating that it would be a conflict of interest because she worked for the Congressman. What has changed?

Well, for one thing, when she announced her bid for Chair in 2024, she claimed she quit working for Byron, in order to run. That was a farce, eerily similar to the “Larry doesn’t work here anymore” farce.

Summary

As real MAGA/America-First Republicans, we MUST protect the brand; the movement. Lee County, the Free State of Florida, and these United States all rely on it. We cannot allow it to go the way of The Tea Party, absconded, co-opted, run off a cliff.

The first step is to look well past buzzwords. Anyone can repeat words. Anyone can change their voter registration to Republican. Anyone can paint themselves under the big Red banner. But, not everyone can and will save the voters from the coming tyranny. We are heading toward a very dystopian future, after Trump’s term is up. The dems and the Deep State are planning things that will make the last 4 years look tame.

In case you weren’t aware, the lobbyist RINOs from the RPOF pretended to be MAGA/AF in ‘24, in at least 6 counties in Florida, using their PACs to put out “MAGA” voter guides supporting RINO candidates. The #1 lobbyist in the RPOF is Chairman Evan “Almighty” Power.

And, in case you didn’t know… Byron endorsed, backed, and supported Evan Power for reelection as RPOF Chair in January, and Evan then turned around and endorsed Jovante Teague for Vice Chair. These are bedfellows. Byron is telling us, in so many ways, exactly what we should expect from a ‘Governor Donalds’, and it scares the hell out of many of us.

Especially because we’re aware of his beliefs on the ‘machines/fraud/2020 election’; the ‘bioweapon jabs’; the ‘Patriot J6ers’; and the ‘Central Bank Digital Currency’. This is a time for serious people, taking serious action, and Byron’s 15 minutes of fame is up.

As far as the issue of paying Larry through the Congressional Staff account goes, when he’s not listed as staff, is it illegal? Is it unethical? Or is it just lacking in character and integrity? Any way you look at it, this won’t fare well for B-Diddy!

Parents Concerned over Sexualization and Indoctrination of Children

In recent years, a growing number of parents across the United States have raised their voices against what they perceive as the indoctrination of children through gay pride initiatives in schools and public spaces.

These parents, often rooted in religious and traditional values, argue that such initiatives overstep boundaries by exposing young children to concepts of sexuality and gender identity that conflict with their beliefs and the developmental readiness of their children.

This article isn’t going to go too deep into their concerns, but more about the spiritual significance of reclaiming God's rainbow, and a notable federal court case in Naples, Florida, that underscores the tension between public pride events and family-friendly spaces.

What Are Our Concerns?

This is probably self-evident to most of us, and is mainly included here for background, so feel free to skip ahead to get to the meat of this important Call to Action. Time is of the essence, and the federal case discussed below will probably determine if we continue to have this battle across America, or we end it here and now.

Parents protesting gay pride indoctrination in schools often cite the inclusion of LGBTQ-themed storybooks and curricula as a primary concern.

In Montgomery County, Maryland, for instance, books like Uncle Bobby’s Wedding and Born Ready have been introduced into elementary classrooms, prompting backlash from parents who believe these materials promote ideas that contradict their religious teachings. These parents, including those from Muslim, Christian, and Orthodox backgrounds, argue that their children should not be exposed to such content without the option to opt out, a right they claim is protected under the First Amendment.

The Supreme Court’s recent inclination to support these parents, as seen in a 2025 hearing, reflects a broader recognition of their religious freedoms, with justices questioning whether school boards might be showing hostility toward religious beliefs by refusing opt-out options.

Beyond schools, parents are also concerned about public pride events that they feel encroach on spaces meant for children. Events featuring drag performances or explicit displays of sexuality, often held in public parks or near playgrounds, are seen as inappropriate for young audiences.

Parents argue that these events, while framed as celebrations of diversity, can confuse or sexualize children who are not yet equipped to process such concepts. This perspective aligns with the views of many mental health professionals, who caution against exposing young children to adult-oriented themes, noting that it can lead to premature sexualization or identity confusion.

The Naples Pride v. City of Naples Case: Protecting Children’s Spaces

A significant legal battle highlighting these concerns is the U.S. Federal Court case Naples Pride v. City of Naples et al (2:25-cv-00291-JES-KCD), filed in 2025.

The long and short of it is that Pridefest is seeking to accomplish 2 objectionable goals:

1. Be allowed to hold the Naples Pridefest event outdoors, next to the children’s playground in Cambier Park, instead of indoors

2. Allow attendees under 18 years of age, so they can get access to children

Naples Pride, an organization hosting annual pride events in Naples, Florida, sued the city after it imposed restrictions on their Pridefest event. The city, citing rising anti-LGBTQ sentiment and potential protests, required Naples Pride to move their drag performances indoors, limit attendance to those 18 years and older, and pay significantly higher security fees—$36,000 compared to fees for similar-sized events. These measures were prompted by concerns from parents and community members about the event’s proximity to Cambier Park, a public space with a children’s playground nearby.

Parents and residents had voiced unease about the appropriateness of drag performances in a park setting, especially given reports of past events involving performers in revealing outfits, such as G-string underwear, which they deemed unsuitable for a family-friendly environment. One resident at a 2023 city council meeting stated, “As a parent, I should be able to take my children to the park and not have to fear what they see.” The city’s decision to restrict the event was seen as a victory for these parents, who argued that public spaces near children’s play areas should remain free of adult-oriented displays.

Naples Pride, backed by the ACLU of Florida, challenged these restrictions, arguing that they violated their First Amendment rights. They emphasized that Pridefest had been a family-friendly event since 2017, with activities like face painting and a children’s zone, and that moving performances indoors undermined their message of acceptance.

However, the city’s actions reflect a broader push to balance free expression with the protection of children, a priority for many parents. The case underscores the tension between pride organizations and communities seeking to maintain age-appropriate environments, with the outcome potentially setting a precedent for how public pride events are regulated near family spaces.

A Call for Balance and Respect

The protests by parents against gay pride indoctrination are not about denying the existence of LGBTQ individuals or their right to self-expression, but about safeguarding the innocence of children and the rights of parents to guide their moral and religious upbringing. The movement to reclaim God’s Rainbow and the legal efforts in cases like Naples Pride v. City of Naples highlight a broader cultural struggle over the role of sexuality in public life, particularly in spaces meant for children. As these debates continue, the hope is for a balanced approach—one that respects the rights of all parties while prioritizing the well-being and developmental needs of the youngest members of society. Are we to be a ‘Shining City on a Hill’ or a resurrection of Sodom and Gomorrah?

Archbishop Carlo Viganò

For those of you who have never heard of Viganò, he served as Apostolic Nuncio to the United States from 2011 to 2016 and as secretary-general of the Governorate of Vatican City State from 2009 to 2011. I strongly urge you to follow him on Rumble.

I would call him the Donald Trump of the Catholic Church…but without the ego, bravado, and foot-in-mouth stumbles, like many of us would prefer to see Trump get over. Oh yeah, and Viganò recognizes that the Covid jabs are bioweapons, designed to depopulate humanity, change our DNA from God’s design to something else, and potentially kill the human ‘Soul,’ itself. So, that’s a big difference between Viganò and Trump, who thinks AI Nano-bot mRNA is a great idea. Don’t get me wrong…I support much of what Trump is accomplishing, although maybe not always the WAY he does it.

Viganò has been very vocal against child abuse (and the cover-up) in, and by, the Church. It is believed that this was a major influence in Francis’ decision to excommunicate Viganò. Well, that, and the fact that he calls Francis a commie.

If Francis never became Pope, chances are high that Viganò would be a Cardinal by now, and on the short list.

Is the RPOF following the example of Francis?

Just as Francis has been removing Bishops, Arch-Bishops, and Cardinals who call out the Church for its improper behavior…RPOF Chair Evan ‘Almighty’ Power has been on a rampage, removing his detractors within the Republican Party, like yours truly.

Countless Precinct Committeemen/women, as well as State Committeemen/women have been excommunicated from the Republican Party, simply for belonging to the Judeo-Christian organization, The Florida Republican Assembly, or a county affiliate thereof.

And, now that the courts are poised to rule against the RPOF, they are attempting to strongarm legislators into passing HB1249, which will grant authority to the party state chairs of either party to disqualify anyone from the ballot that they don’t like.

Presumably, this is so Evan can hand pick every REC or RPOF member…but it’s much worse than that. Never again will there be a grassroots candidate for County Commission, School Board, Mayor, Supervisor of Elections, etc. Any candidate running to fix the broken system, which enriches people like lobbyist Evan Power, will be ‘zapped’.

Is Evan’s goal to make the RPOF look like the Nazi party? Is he really a wolf in sheep’s clothing for the dem party? Or is he the Trojan Horse, ushering in the reign of the Manchurian Candidate?

In the end, human nature repeats its mistakes…if we let it.

Who is Byron?

I’ve known the Donalds’ for a long time. I first met Byron when his wife, Erika, was running for Collier School Board, and he later was running for his first term in the Florida House. We met at a Krisanne Hall class, and they seemed to be Constitutionalists. Whether they were arrogantly always fake, and grifting for support, or they ignorantly became corrupted by the system they found themselves in, is difficult to decipher. But I will try to do just that over the next several months. And, as Krisanne Hall says… “Ignorance or arrogance… does it really matter which?” I say “maybe”. While the end result may be the same, I say arrogance is much worse.

Based on much of what I have found, he is clearly a Uniparty Republican, not America-First. Nobody who says “the jab is safe and effective”, “Voting Machines are here to stay, Biden won fair and square, get over it”, and “the J-6ers got what they deserved… almost” can truly pretend to be America-First. These three claims from Byron came from his own lips, when I met him in his office with 2 fellow patriots. Each of these three issues are so important as to warrant their own future articles, so stay tuned for more.

Who WAS Byron?

Conservative MAGA/America-First champion… or Social Justice Warrior?

While he has previously and publicly acknowledged his criminal thuggery in his past, he claimed that he was young and outgrew it. That was one of the things that drew patriots to him… Americans love a redemption story, and I was no different. I really thought they were the perfect power couple… for good, not evil. However, the more I dig, the more I come to realize… he may still believe in his old values. But, let’s find out before we give him the keys to the Governor’s Mansion, shall we?

To be fair, some of the posts against Byron are by people who are pushing for Casey DeSantis. I’m not sure who I will ultimately get behind, but I’m pretty sure grifters will be disqualified from my short list.

According to these posts on X, he defends Trayvon Martin, and condemns George Zimmerman. And, as it turns out, it’s from around the same time I first met him.

According to this statement on Byron’s Congressional webpage in April 2021, he defends George Floyd and condemns Derek Chauvin.

Did Byron really call George Zimmerman and Derek Chauvin “murderers” on his social media posts? Several people have told me that he did, but we may have to go to the Wayback to find them.

The whole George Floyd case stemmed from riots over the George Zimmerman trial outcome of ‘Not Guilty’, and the whole Trayvon Martin case was based on a potential “hoax”, in that the woman who posed as his girlfriend for the trial was not even the same woman who was his girlfriend at the scene, according to this documentary by Joel Gilbert, who also made the document exposing who Obama’s real father was…

The real question of this campaign will be… “Do we want a MAGA/America-First Governor… or a SJW”?

Brooklyn or Jamaica?

Allegedly, Byron was married to another woman when he began an affair with his now-wife, Erika. Did Byron tell his first wife that he was from Jamaica? And, if he did, why? Did he use that lie to get into college? Are these claims by his ex-wife the truth, or just sour grapes?

Byron is originally from Brooklyn, New York. Was he confused, and thinking he was from Jamaica, Queens, New York, and his first wife just misunderstood? Not likely.

This article lays out the nature of his early years, told by his ex-wife. Although she is a typical democrat, Trump-hater, etc., she talks plainly about Byron’s grifting chameleon nature and begs the question… “Is Byron genuine or a Slimer-Climber”?

What is Byron’s platform?

To be fair, it may be too early to tell. Maybe he’s waiting to hear what’s important to the voters before he adopts his platform, but a recent post leaves us wondering if even he knows what matters to voters. I can tell you three things that matter to many voters I regularly talk to, and Byron is on the wrong side of all three issues. They are (in no particular order):

1. The mRna bioweapons, intentionally designed to depopulate up to 90% of humanity

2. The 2020 Election, what went wrong, and how to get rid of the SmartMatic Venezuelan Voting Machines, and return to hand-counted paper ballots

3. The J-6er US Patriots who were set up and targeted by the Deep State on January 6, 2021… and bringing those Deep State thugs to justice, while making the victims whole

Byron’s recent plan???

“Delaware used to be the easiest state to incorporate your business... but they let the Woke Mind Virus infect them. We will make Florida a beacon of true economic liberty and freedom. We will make Florida the easiest state to incorporate in. Times have CHANGED. Why not Florida?”

Umm… yeah… it takes about 10 minutes to set up a corporation on Sun-Biz. What’s Bye-Ron’s plan… cut it back to 7 minutes? Thank you, kind sir. What would FL do without you?

Sorry Larry, I mean Byron… DeSantis already ran on that platform. And, before we go giving a big round of applause to DeGov… let’s remember to thank a democrat for FL turning “Redder”. DeSanctis only locked us down for a month… the libtards locked their states down for many months, to over a year, close to two years for states like New York and California. But, most governors violated our Constitutionally protected, God-Given Rights, regardless of party affiliation.

Although, according to NIH’s website, dem gov’s were faster to do it, which means Republican governors took pause, recognizing they were violating the Constitution, before they issued orders to do it, anyway.

So, even DeSantis can’t really take credit for turning FL more red. It was dems like Cuomo and dumbo, Hochul and jokle, Schumer and doomer, that created the mass exodus from the ‘Iron Curtain’ states. And, by the time the exodus began, DeSantis had reversed course, making ours seem like “The Free State of Florida”.

Who is Larry Wilcoxson?

…and why should we care? Well, we know that Larry was a longtime friend of Byron’s. They apparently went to college together. They also went to a lot of other places together, but I’ll get to that in another article. His official title was ‘Legislative Aide’, however he wasn’t paid by Byron’s Congressional office, but instead by his campaign.

Larry has been an embarrassment of thuggery behavior, whether it was him lunging at the Collier County REC Chair during a convened meeting, having to be restrained by two Collier Deputies… or his attack of a woman at Seed To Table in Naples. Let’s table Larry, for now… Byron has. He has been scrubbed from all mention on Byron’s Congressional Campaign website, and has removed any mention of working for Byron on his social media accounts.

Who is Jovante Teague?

Jovante was recently elected as Vice Chair of the RPOF. He is a Byron Donalds compatriot, and sources inside the RPOF tell me that there is a plan to push out Evan ‘Almighty’ Power as Chair, so Jovante can usher in Byron as the next Governor of Florida.

According to court documents, Jovante was allegedly convicted of a felony in 2018, so how is he even eligible to serve in his REC or the RPOF? See the court document here…

So… What’s the Solution?

We are the “R”

Grassroots citizens, educating the voters is the answer. It’s too early to say who all will be running in the primary in ‘26. The current presumptive long-list may include Matt Gaetz, Wilton Simpson, Ashley Moody, Casey DeSantis, and Byron Donalds. Maybe even Pam Bondi after she’s replaced as AG. It’s just way too early to tell.

Many Republicans I have spoken to are behind Matt Gaetz. That poses a problem for some voters, who are buying into the Deep State’s attempt to accuse him of some relationship with a 17 y.o. when he was in college. The FBI said they looked into that accusation, and declared “there was no there, there”.

But, as a trusted source asked me today “Are you really believing anything coming out of the FBI’s mouth?” Others question whether Matt’s libertarian views on marijuana or gay marriage align with our conservative values. To be honest, these are valid questions. But, they are unanswered questions. Unsubstantiated rumors, to be accurate. I will be diving deeper into these questions as time goes on. Quite frankly, Matt may not even be interested in the job.

Did Byron push for a House investigation against Gaetz just a few months ago, in a not-so-veiled attempt to discredit a potential adversary in the ‘26 Gubernatorial Race? Some sources say yes… others say no. I agree we need more information before we decide.

Regardless, we cannot survive a Manchurian Candidate in the Free State of Florida. Maybe the REAL conservative black Republican, Florida Surgeon General, Dr. Joseph Ladapo, is the best answer.

The real answer lies in grassroots activism, and answering more questions. And, the first step is to make sure that our elected public servants aren’t criminals and thugs.

Drogue stones were ballasts on ships of old, which baffled the bouncing of a ship from the surface waves of the sea, and kept it facing the waves. Essentially… anchors, sort of. The pic on the left are typical drogue stones.

The pic on the right is one of many stones discovered in Arzep, or The Valley of Eight, about 15 miles from the site of what is believed to be the landing site of Noah’s Ark.

By weighing the ship down in all directions, the ship became rooted in the lower seawater, instead of being bounced around by the surface waves. But, the rigging had to be done correctly.

When the rigging was too long, the stones could become entangled with each other, and become less effective. They no longer served the ship.

If the rigging was too short, the stones could be slammed into the hull, thereby sinking the ship.

How Does This Represent the Republican Party?

The ship represents the Republican Party, or more aptly, the MAGA/America-First Movement.

An anchor, or properly rigged stone, represents true America-Firsters, trying to take back the party from the grifters, the fakers, and the corrupt movers and shakers. They don’t turn a blind eye when that corruption comes from those they once considered friends. Their character and integrity is true. They don’t engage in ‘situational ethics’, excusing bad behavior just because they worked hard to get someone in their position. They are NOT emotionally invested in personalities or individuals. They praise behavior and actions.

Then there’s the typical establishment RINO, which I liken to drogue stones with rigging that is too long. They become entangled with each other, and from the perspective of the ship, they are ineffective. They no longer even care about the ship, and focus all of their energy on their entanglements.

The rigging which is too short, threatening to smash the hull of the MAGA/A-F ship, is the Fake-America-Great-Again (#FAGA) phenomenon, or what I call the ‘Me-First Movement’. They put themselves ahead of the mission. They are mostly made up of Slimer-Climbers and grifters, putting all faith in their own glory and grandeur.

These are the people who ran on the mission to right the ship of the Republican Party. They ran on the platform to put an end to personal-power, corruption, top-down tactics, and cliquish squads of junior-high ‘Mean Girls’. They were done with the past board keeping the REC membership list from us, or shutting down important resolutions, and rightfully so. Nobody should support that behavior, whether it’s by a friend, or an adversary.

And, now that they are in position, they use those same tactics, as if it is now noble behavior. Essentially, they are saying that the behavior we pushed back on wasn’t the problem, but whose hands that power was in. Now that it’s them, the bad behavior is somehow good behavior. Let’s be clear… it’s not.

#FAGA 2.0

We have now entered into the second phase of the destruction of the MAGA/A-F Movement. It has been described by one local patriot as being similar to how the Deep State took over the TEA Party Movement, that many of us were a part of before it was hijacked by the Deep-State Globalists.

My bet is that not all members of the newly elected LeeREC Board are truly okay with this direction. As it becomes evident that the sole mission of the new Chair is to get her boss, Byron Donalds, elected as Florida’s next governor, and they come to understand that he will not be good for Florida, I predict the current board imploding on itself.

And, that’s a shame, because the board is NOT supposed to be all-important to the operation of the REC. In fact, THAT was actually the original mission statement in 2022, was to put the power back in the hands of the REC members, not the board. Therefore, it shouldn’t be a big deal who holds these unpaid positions. They should be servant leaders, not masters.

I will be putting out an article regarding Byron’s misgivings soon, and don’t want to get in the weeds here, but suffice it to say, he is clearly a Uniparty Republican, not America-First. So, are you going to be a gemstone or cultured quartz; solid granite or sandstone; beautiful marble or man-made Corian? The choice is yours. Or, as Mercedes says… “REC or Assembly, you can’t be both”. By the way… the Duval Circuit Court is very likely going to say “You absolutely can do both!”. More on that lawsuit coming soon.

Fluoride-Free in Lee

Yesterday, unincorporated Lee County Florida went Fluoride Free, thanks to Cecil Pendergrass, who got it on the agenda. I reached out to Cecil about a month ago to help get it on the agenda, and he ran with it immediately. I also wish to thank Brian Hamman for seconding Cecil’s motion, Chair Kevin Ruane for his graciousness while chairing, and Commissioners David Mulicka and Mike Greenwell, who were also very supportive. It’s hard to keep up with all of the cities and counties in Florida that have recently voted to either end fluoridation, or to defeat motions to repair their broken systems and turn them back on. I believe Lee County has become the 41st county in FL that does not add fluoride, not to mention all of the cities and other municipalities.

Yes, Lee BoCC voted to end the practice of adding fluorosilicic acid to the water system, but there are still municipalities that we need to work on in Lee County, that may also be adding it. I count 5, but a source from the utilities dept. told Fox-4 that it was maybe up to 10 water districts not controlled by Lee County Utilities (LCU). We have already begun that process. Over the last 10-15 years of being aware of the problems caused by fluoride, I have to admit that, other than making my own toothpaste (see recipe at end) or using Reverse Osmosis, I never felt like there was much I could do about it on a broad scale, to put its use to an end. The times, they are a changin’. The Dominos are falling. The House of Cards is collapsing. And, with every win, two more communities are emboldened to be next.

If you have felt too small to make change, I assure you, there is more that you can do. Beginning with joining LCRA, or at least subscribing to our emails. LCRA is an Action-Oriented organization. We don’t just sit around talking about the problems, we take action, and get results.

But, how did fluoride get its start; how did we get to the point of thinking poisoning our own people was a good idea? I’ll lay out my findings and opinions that I have gleaned over time. You may have found additional info. Feel free to leave a comment after reading.

Fluoride is an Essential Mineral?!

Yeah, not so much. To begin with, just because a mineral or chemical is on the Periodic Table, does not mean drinking it is safe, effective, or advisable. Remember, lead, arsenic, uranium and plutonium are all on the Periodic Table, too, but I wouldn’t recommend drinking or eating them. Those pushing for widespread fluoride use try to equate it to an essential mineral, like iron.

Secondly, fluorosilicic acid is not the same thing as the element found on the Periodic Table. The element, Fluorine, is not even what we’re talking about, here. And, thank God, because it would be equally toxic.

Let’s take a look at the Tale of Two “Fluorides”.

1. Fluorine is the chemical element on the Periodic Table

   1. Symbol is F.

   2. Atomic number is 9.

   3. Highly toxic.

   4. The most reactive element on the Periodic Table.

   5. Not found in nature, except for a short existence as a poisonous gas during volcanic activity.

2. Calcium Fluoride is the term commonly used to refer to fluoride in drinking water.

   1. Some calcium fluoride can be “naturally” occurring.
      (not what they put in our water)

   2. Some can come from pollution, such as uranium fluoride, aluminum fluoride, hydrogen fluoride, agricultural chemical runoff, etc.

   3. Fluorosilicic acid - used in artificially fluoridated water supplies:

      1. A.K.A. hydrofluorosilicic acid, sodium fluorosilicate, or sodium fluoride.

      2. These chemicals are contaminated with other toxins, such as arsenic, lead and hydrogen fluoride

      3. Artificial fluoridation chemicals primarily originate as the waste products of the fertilizer industry and metal manufacturing (namely aluminum), not from naturally occurring sources.

      4. Particularly strong bond, but can dissociate in water and form other bonds with other metals available in the water, which vary greatly.

      5. Dissociated fluoride ions can convert to caustic hydrogen fluoride in the stomach, kidney, gut or bladder, causing inflammatory conditions and cell death.

All fluorides are toxins. Fluorides damage mammals, amphibians, insects, plants and soil chemistry.

No wonder The Wicked Witch of The West melted when Dorothy threw fluoridated water on her. Now, it all makes perfect sense. It was the fluorosilicic acid, not the water.

History of Fluoride

WWII brought in the aluminum age, to fill a need for a strong but lightweight metal. Massive aluminum production during the war created a massive amount of slag waste. After the war, a study was conducted to test whether burying this waste would be safe in our water table. Docility was observed in animal testing, and spawned an idea… easily controlled populace. Thus began “The Dumbing Down of America”.

“But, how do we get them to take it?”

In 1945, Grand Rapids MI became the testing ground for fluoridating the municipal potable water system. This study was conducted for ten years, before opening up water fluoridation widespread.

Toothpaste

In the mid-50’s sugar alcohols, like Xylitol and Erythritol were discovered to feed the good bacteria in oral biome, while killing or starving the bad bacteria. Cane sugar does the exact opposite, promotes bad bacteria and kills good bacteria, causing dental caries, which lead to cavities. Nowadays, the industry uses sorbitol in toothpaste, mouthwash, and sugar-free gums/mints. Same difference.

Around the same time that they began using sugar alcohols in toothpaste, they began adding aluminum-slag-waste I mean “Cavity-Fighting-Fluoride” (yeah, that sounds better) to toothpaste, claiming it was responsible for that which the sugar alcohols were actually scientifically proven to do… support a healthy oral biome, which in turn, fights cavities. So, the Xylitol does all the work, and the toxic fluoride takes the credit?! Fluoride sounds like a RINO.

Fluoride Fights Cavities!

So, yes, slightly. There is some evidence that fluoride causes the body to produce a thin layer over tooth enamel, thereby protecting it. But, does that mean that fluoride is the best way to cause the body to produce that layer? I would argue that every time we try to play God, and reengineer his design in our own image, we lose.

Furthermore, current studies now show that the film created in this way is so thin, it would take 2,000 treatments to make a difference. That does NOT mean that if you brush twice a day, after 1,000 days, you will have achieved the goal. Life happens during that 1,000 days, eroding away at that layer you are attempting to create. One step forward and one step back. I think the Deep-State calls that “Net-Zero”

Why don’t we instead study naturopathic methods to stimulate that protective layer? My guess is that it would make too much sense. How would that help get rid of the industrial waste? For me, that’s anecdotal evidence that the goal is to find a use for this waste, not make strides in dental care.

Over the last ten years, I have adapted many different trial/error toothpaste recipes. See my current fluoride-free toothpaste recipe at the end of this article. It’s super easy and cost-effective to make. And, it’s way better for you, your teeth, and especially… your brain. Careful, though… it may make you awake from the Matrix and get off the couch. Sleep-walking relatives and friends will likely stop talking to you. Especially if they were trained in Fluoride-funded dental colleges.

What Has Changed?

There seems to be a swell of change on a myriad of controversial topics these days. In some ways, the age of Trump’s MAGA/America-First movement is partly credited. It has empowered grassroots activists to get off the couch. If that’s you, Get Involved NOW! Trump is not going to fix your local problems. In fact, to those who say “Trump got elected, we can relax and go back to sleep on the couch”, you are not the solution, but the problem. This movement will be short-lived, and barely effective. The Deep-State will just bide their time, until the next Uniparty popular President, and reinstate themselves as your overlord and master.

And, whether dealing with local, state, or national politicians, we must NEVER praise or condemn the individual politician. We must praise and condemn their behavior. For example, I both “praise” and “condemn” Trump’s behavior. The President is coming out strong on many fronts. But, then he’s flirting with AI mRNA tech and The American Gaza Riviera. To me… those are NOT good things.

My point is, even when dealing with your favorite County Commissioner or School Board Member… you must hold them accountable, without getting personal, or emotionally invested. They will respond more favorably, as is evidenced by the BoCC vote on 2/4/25.

RFK Jr.

Making America Healthy Again. Kennedy’s stance on mRNA first got me interested in his opinions. His stance on fluoride has brought this issue into the national spotlight.

Dr. Joseph Ladapo

Dr. Ladapo has come out against fluoride, both personally, and as FL Surgeon General, issuing guidance. He has stated that if you asked him 6-8 months ago, he would have said that it’s not really on his radar. He has attributed the Federal Court’s Order to the EPA as his wakeup call.

Dr. Malin accompanied him to the Tavares City Council Meeting on 12/18/24, where the vote to remove fluoride was successful. Their speeches were very instrumental, and can be found here and here.

Dr. Ladapo was gracious enough to attend the Lee BoCC meeting on 2/4/25, and was very well received by everyone (except two snowflakes wearing masks and carrying a “Resist” plackard).

Local, State, and National Organizations

Get involved with the movers and shakers. And, if you are in these organizations, remember that partnering with each other, instead of competing with each other or fighting for the spotlight, is crucial. When it becomes about our egos or own personal Glory-Story, we all lose.

Lee County Republican Assembly partnered with Stand For Health Freedom, and as a result, we had great success in Lee. Could we have done it without SFHF? Sure. We have enough members who are well versed on the topic. We have the connections to our local politicians. But, SFHF has been getting this done in other localities. The Kiley’s have a cookie-cutter campaign already in use. We didn’t have to reinvent the wheel, although we did slightly tweak it for Lee.

More importantly… We are stronger in numbers. I also want to give a shout out to Priscilla Gray from Collier County, who first contacted me about getting this started in Lee a couple months ago, and put this on our radar. Priscilla has been in the fight since the 70’s with Phyllis Schlafly. She is truly a treasure.

It’s Safe to Go Back in the Water Now, Right?

Well, not so fast. First, fluorosilicic acid has a half-life of roughly 20 years. Water treatment plants treat sewage, and put that water back into play. Treatment plants do not remove fluoride. So, ending the practice does not remove it from our water.

Fluoride is found in so many products, and I imagine that as we continue to win getting it removed from the water, the industry will look for new and innovative disposal methods of their industrial waste.

I recently heard they are looking at adding it to asphalt, presumably so when the sun heats the road, and the rain run-off soaks in the ground, they can continue adding it to our water by other delivery methods.

Many municipalities that no longer fluoridate are at 2 or 3 times the limit. Why? Is it getting in the water by other means? Did they over-fluoridate so much in the past, that it accumulated? Remember, waste-water treatment doesn’t remove it, so it’s like a closed loop system.

So, this is all just a first step at getting fluoride out of people’s bodies.

Bob’s Toothpaste

Everyone has heard of Tom’s Toothpaste. It’s a well known brand of fluoride-free toothpaste. I recommend it for those who are not DIY types.

Here’s my current recipe, subject to change, as I learn and grow…

Bob’s Toothpaste

I quadruple this recipe (easier to use an immersion blender when there's more volume), but if you want to try a small test batch first...

Whisk dry goods in bowl:

• 1-1⁄2 T. Bentonite Clay

• 2 t. Baking Soda

• 1 t. Calcium Carbonate (optional)

• 2 T. Xylitol/Erythritol (I use a mixture of both, 50/50)

• 1⁄2 t. Charcoal (optional)

Set dry goods aside.

In measuring cup, whisk:

• 2 T. Coconut oil

• 20 Drops of essential oil (cinnamon, tea tree, clove, rosemary, grapefruit, germanium, thieves, frankincense, or peppermint) I prefer cinnamon

Pour into double boiler

In same meas. cup, add and whisk:

• 1 T. Distilled Water

• 1⁄8-1⁄4 t. Lecithin (binder between water and oil)

Add to double boiler and heat liquid just enough to whisk

When liquid is well mixed, slowly whisk in the mixed dry goods

Blend with an immersion blender (or whisk), just until right consistency (like toothpaste)

(It can over-blend to a hard paste. Still usable, but less user-friendly)

Place in a sealable container.

I use an injector to refill old toothpaste tube, or keep in spare Magic Bullet cup.

Enjoy a fluoride-free, cavity-fighting brush

Free Bonus…

I also use Xylitol mixed with water and cinnamon oil in a small pocket dropper (reused ‘ICY Breeze’). It’s a great way to return the biome to normal, for fresh breath on the go.

The Drafted Adopted Resolution

This proposed resolution puts it all in simple terms, and was adopted at the Lee County Republican Assembly meeting Monday January 6th, 2025 at 5:30-7:30pm. We also had a presentation on the J-6 political prisoners.

Resolution to Oppose Single Member Districts in Lee County BOCC

1/6/25

WHEREAS, half of the Lee County Legislative Delegation have proposed legislation to change the Lee County Board of County Commissioners from ‘5 at-large members’ to ‘5 Single Member Districts plus 2 At-Large Members’, with the potential of an eventual 9 (or more) member Board; and may be attempting to create a new county manager/mayor/executive position; and,

WHEREAS, the proposed legislation would circumvent the wishes of Lee County voters, who voted for a County Charter form of government in 1996, and it would circumvent the Charter itself; and,

WHEREAS, The Lee County Charter Review Board meets every 8 years; and,

WHEREAS, The Lee County Charter Review Board met in 2024, reviewing the potential issue of Single Member Districts; and,

WHEREAS, The Lee County Charter Review Board voted 11-1 to oppose Single Member Districts; and,

WHEREAS, Lee County voters would lose representation under this proposed change; and,

WHEREAS, at the November 29, 2023 BOCC Special Meeting, the majority of the public spoke in opposition to this proposed legislation, citing increased inefficiency of government, increased costs by expanding the size of government, the potential for creation of internal conflicts, lack of oversight over an elected County Executive, and reduction of resident's rights to vote for each County Commissioner; and

WHEREAS, The Lee County Board of County Commissioners adopted Resolution 23-10-25 on Oct. 24, 2023; and Resolution 23-11-26 on Nov. 29, 2023, opposing Single Member Districts and elected county manager/mayor/executive; and,

Whereas, The proposed legislation further calls for only the 2 At-Large members being eligible to serve as Chairman, further limiting Lee County voter’s representation; and

WHEREAS, That proposal clearly signals that even the legislators admit that Single District Members should not serve as Chair, presumably due to one district holding an advantage over other districts, resulting in 2 At-Large members alternating who is chair every year, and therefore totally controlling the agenda in perpetuity; and,

WHEREAS, The Lee County Legislative Delegation should be concentrating on protecting citizens from obscure globalist initiatives; and,

WHEREAS, Florida citizens are in dire need of essential legislation protecting our borders from siege; our insurance(s) from price gouging; our economy from global digital currency; our bodies from bioweapons; our ballots from hacking; our patriots from languishing in political prisons; our liberty from the coming ‘15-minute’ lockdown cities; our communities from all forms of human trafficking; our youth from gender indoctrination, medication, sterilization, and/or surgical alterations; instead of legislation circumventing our adopted form of county government; therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED, that Lee County Republican Assembly (LCRA) calls upon the Lee County Legislative Delegation to once and for all forego the usurpation of the instituted Home Rule of a Charter County government that has considered and rejected the proposal of Single Member Districts; and,

BE IT FURTHER, that LCRA calls upon the Delegation to concentrate on their proper role, and draft immediate legislation to protect Floridians from the aforementioned globalist agenda.

I’m referring to the gloves coming off. And, it’s about time. I will be breaking down the lawsuit against the RPOF, which was recently filed by Duval County Assembly President and REC member Robin Lumb, amended to include the Florida Republican Assembly, and all members thereof, in an upcoming article. Today, I will just mention a few problems that the RPOF has, in their witch hunt against Trump supporters. More on that below.

How the Grinch Stole Christmas

And New Year’s Day… And Inauguration Day…

I was torn between portraying Evan as the Grinch, or the Tin Man… ♪if he only had a brain♫

Evan worked with cooperative REC boards

Why bring Lee County REC Vice Chair, Tara Jenner into this, you might ask?! Especially, since she reportedly insists she had nothing to do with it, right? The problem with that claim is that she was acting as stand-in for an AWOL chair, and only REC members from counties with cooperative county boards were harassed for having the “audacity to exercise their freedom of association” by also belonging to the Assembly. Let me say that again… Only Assembly members in counties with a cooperative REC board were targeted. Many Assembly members are still in their county REC’s.

Florida Republican Assembly, Est. 1998

I won’t waste much time on the insanity of the Republican Party attacking fellow members for belonging to a Judeo-Christian Republican organization, which has been in continuous operation in the state of FL, since 1998. I mean, I’m often asked why this is happening, and why the party would choose to divide, rather than multiply. The simplest answer is either they are really democrats trying to paint Florida blue, or they want control and power, and they don’t care if their behavior risks destroying the party.

However, the root claim leading to this attack is premised on the erroneous assertion by the RPOF that the FRA was in violation of F.S. 103.081, which requires organizations not chartered for 10 years, or more, to charter under the RPOF. But the Assembly has been in continuous use of the name Republican since November 1998.

So, then they claimed that we are required to always be the same corporation to maintain the same charter under the National Federated Republican Assemblies. This is not legally true. Every attorney knows this. Any Paralegal, or even third-rate research assistant, should know this.

Even still, the FRA has obtained ownership of the original corporation, which was replaced with a new corporate structure in 2018. This original corporation’s inactive status has been brought up to date, is active, and per FL statutes has the effect of law, as if it had never gone inactive. So, the chess pieces continue.

To be absolutely clear… the FRA has been in existence since 1998, continuously.

So, the next time Terror Jenner says “They’re in violation of F.S. 103.081”, ask her if she’s lying. After all, she’s a J.A.G. attorney, Constitutional attorney, and healthcare attorney, per her own claims. So, her legal assertions are above reproach, right? Attorneys are never wrong. Right?

If attorneys, and judges who are also attorneys, are never wrong, we wouldn’t have Appellate, Superior, or Supreme courts. Attorney’s are advocates for a client or cause. They are tasked with bending, twisting, and painting a legal matter in a way that benefits their client, to the best of their abilities. And, we have seen Tara’s best. Many times. She has been weighed and measured, and found wanting. If someone were an equally adept plumber… the toilets in their house would never flush, and they’d have to run the kitchen faucet to get the shower to run. If one were an equally adept electrician, life would be ‘shocking’. Tara is to the legal industry what Tim Taylor is to home repair.

Just think about it… does the word “attorney” conjure images of Angels and Saints, or snakes and cockroaches?
“If men were Angels, we wouldn’t need government” -{Hamilton/Madison/and of course, Sansone}.
By the same token, if attorneys were Saints, jokes would be written differently… “5,000 lawyers at the bottom of the sea” would be a travesty, instead of a “good start”.

So, again, next time you hear her pontificating… ask yourself what her motivation and skill level is. Better yet, ask her.

The Cease and Desist

Earlier in the year, the RPOF sent a Cease and Desist letter. Here was the FRA attorney response to that wad of toilet paper… FRA Response

The Lawsuit

I know Tara has told many people that there has been an ongoing lawsuit, but that’s simply not true… until now. But, it’s not the RPOF suing the Assembly, but the other way around.

The initial filing of this case can be read in its entirety by clicking here… Robin Lumb v. Evan Power/RPOF.

And, Mr. Lumb’s case is pretty damning against the RPOF. To break it down..
If the RPOF believed the Assembly was violating the law, they would have simply brought it to court and obtained an order from the judge, forcing the Assembly to stop using the word “Republican”. Instead, they rewrote the RPOF rules, in violation of several FL statutes, to concoct a contrived rule violation. Then, instead of targeting the Assembly itself, they chose to target their own members who belonged to both organizations.

But, let’s be clear… the RPOF and the 67 REC’s aren’t “clubs”. They are the party machine, whose members are duly elected representatives of the voters in their respective precincts.

Does this not boil down to subverting elections? Read the case history… they clearly removed members without due cause, and certainly without due process. These are irreparable harms. County board elections were subverted, by denying members in good standing the right to vote and choose the leadership team for the next 2 years. No matter how this turns out, the stain of this won’t wash off. The current LeeREC board will carry the stains with them for the next 24 months, no matter how many showers they take with Lava soap, or even Brillo Pads. A 10” grinder won’t even work.

Not only were the county board elections subverted, but the RPOF elections in January are stained as well. Because who wins the county chair elections makes up 1/3 of the electorate pool in the January elections, as well as potential candidates for RPOF Board.

Grievance Committee

The Grievance Committee was weaponized against conservative Republicans, even to the point of violating their own Committee bylaws. Grievances must be put on hold within 90 days of an election. That means 90 days before… until 90 days after, Primary, General, and I would argue… county board elections. And yet, these were fast-tracked anyway. Multiple other rules were violated by Evan Power and the Grievance Committee, also. Such as the number of days to respond, being presented with an actual grievance, and full due process including hearings.

One of the most egregious actions was to suspend REC members who submitted their affidavits, showing they were not members of the Assembly, including a few who had never even heard of the Assembly. They were suspended, anyway. This had nothing to do with the Assembly, but election interference at the core of the Republican Party. I remind you, the RPOF “leadership” also believes the voting machines are great, the 2020 Presidential Election was fair… Biden won fair and square, and that it should be a felony in FL to question the election results. Tallahassee, we have a problem.

Is the RPOF, under Evan Power’s leadership, painting themselves into a corner, covering up the red paint with baby blue democrat paint?

Republican, RINO, Establishment, Democrat?

Are these the actions of conservative, Judeo-Christian, Constitutional Republicans, or democrats? You decide. My money is on RINO, Establishment, Bush-League, Never-Trump, Deep-State, Uniparty.

I don’t know what else to call it, when you make up rules, to create lawfare against Pro-Trump Judeo-Christians, in order to maintain the status-quo in the Uniparty. More details to follow.

On Monday, December 16th, The Lee County Legislative Delegation held a Town Hall Meeting in Cape Coral. It was scarcely advertised, and woefully unattended. A room that could have easily fit 150 seats, was instead set up to only have 60 chairs. In addition to those seated, were approximately 10-15 people standing in the back. What’s so important, you might ask?! The topic was critical legislation they are proposing to pass in this next session.

What it’s not

Is this important legislation to stop the use of nanobot mRNA bioweapons? No. Perhaps to secure our borders or expel illegal aliens in FL and the U.S.? Nope. Is it important legislation to reinstate insurance premium caps, so we don’t get priced out of home ownership? I wish. Maybe we’re finally going to put a stop to stolen elections through use of machines, abuse of Vote By Mail, and stale unclean voter rolls? You wish. Could it be to create a FL State Banking system to hedge against the coming Central Currency Digital Bank that the globalists are rolling out, which will allow them to shut down your money with a flick of an AI-controlled switch? I’m afraid not.

What it is

This critical, emergency, groundbreaking legislation is a solution, in search of a problem; to place Single-Member Districts for Lee County Board of Commissioners on the ballots in Lee County in the General Election 2026.

Some common-sense reasons against Single-Member-District:

1. We will lose representation - Currently we meet with all Commissioners to discuss issues, before being dismissed and ignored. If we go to SMD, they will have a valid reason to direct us to only speak with "our" Commissioner.

2. The democrats tried this years ago. They want 7 single districts, and they’re not going to stop, until they get it. They feel with more, smaller districts, they stand a chance of redistricting to win at least one district. But why are our SupeRINOrity legislators doing the heavy lifting for democrats? This measure will tee up the democrats plan.

3. Across FL, democrat-majority counties are pushing for SMD. Are we now trying to turn Lee County blue?

4. We are a Charter County - Our Charter Review Board met this year, and this topic came up. The Review Board shot it down, again. Why are the legislators trying to circumvent our County Charter, and under what authority? Stay in your lane.

5. Even having a contrived audience; a pre-planned, stacked room, full of hand-picked establishment supporters speaking on behalf of SMD, the majority of the room was against it. It won't pass, so why are we wasting precious legislative session time to put this on the ballot in '26, when we have mRNA nano-bot bioweapons unleashed and shedding on humanity; porous borders ushering in enemy combatants; the globalists stealing our money and shoving us into behavior-controlling digital currency (fiat); stolen elections by abuse of VBM and machines; the entire housing market being turned into ‘Pottersville-style’ serfdom through the insurance industry pricing us out of our homes, and the deep-state scrambling to force us into a ‘It’s a Wonderful One World Order’?Follow the money - The Delegation was asked by a member of the public on Monday, "Who asked you to do this"... deer in the headlights, dancing to the sound of crickets. The truth is one campaign company is behind it, along with each of their clients (every member of the delegation) and they are doing the Nutcracker on the head of a pin. Right now, this campaign manager has to advertise on behalf of all 5 Commissioner candidates he runs, countywide. His advertising costs will be cut by 80%. If the legislators were truly God-fearing conservatives, they would be tackling these real, important issues, instead of inventing this manufactured crisis.

6. The proponents claim that we shouldn't be represented by all 5 Commissioners. That it equates to New Yorkers voting in FL CD-19, or voters in Georgia voting in the FL governor's race. But, that doesn't track... AT ALL. All 5 Commissioners vote on issues that affect all of Lee County, not just our districts. Their argument would only hold water if the FL governor's decisions directly affected Georgians, or if CD-19 directly affected New York City. Don't fall for their hollow arguments. If it sounds like a yarn and smells like a barn, don't step in it.

7. We endorsed Amanda Cochran. She and her supporters came to support SMD. Reportedly, Amanda won 15 of the 17 precincts in her district, but lost in the other districts. Yes, it may be true that in this case, it worked against the grassroots candidate, but this was the exception, not the rule. To assume it would be different with SMD is delusional. Terry Miller would simply divert all of his resources from safe districts, to the races with his weakest candidate, or against the strongest grassroots candidate. SMD benefits the establishment more than the grassroots. Do you want to know how I know this??? Because he and his clients are the ones pushing for it, when the public isn’t demanding it. Besides, with the fraud built into the elections, who’s to say they won’t simply cheat another way?

The Lee County Legislative Delegation Meeting is January 9th at FSW. Unfortunately, the deadline to register to speak was Dec. 13th, 3 days before this Town Hall. Now, isn't that convenient? So, since they don't want to hear from you at their Delegation Meeting, I strongly urge you to contact them directly, and let them know that you do not support SMD.

Santa was Both - a Super Hero, and a Political Bad Ass!

There are so many stories about the real St. Nicholas, as warrior, priest, Bishop, and especially… a political statesman within the early Church.

Here are several stories of the @realStNick which rival the grassroots work that we do in politics today, some of which have made it into Santa’s commercial story.

Foregoing Personal Wealth For Service to Humanity

OK, we know that some politicians get into politics to get the gold, and most end up mesmerized by it; succumbing to it, in the end. But, most warriors for liberty that I know do it for ideological reasons, hopefully never giving in to the easy path, or allowing themselves to be bribed into submission.

Nicholas was quite wealthy, but chose to enter into a life of service, instead of profit. That is quite the contrast to so many we see in the public square today.

Jailed

Nicholas was jailed by Emperor Diocletian for his Christian beliefs, until Constantine eventually became Emperor, and he was freed. He spent five years in prison, solitary confinement, and was beaten for refusing to renounce Christ.

Uniparty - Screaming For Unity

While serving on the Council of Nicaea as Bishop Nicholas of Myra (Turkey), an argument ensued with Arius from Egypt (the founder of Arianism - think Unitarian Church), who was arguing that Jesus was not Divine. Arius was demanding unity in the Church, behind his beliefs. This enraged Nicholas to the point of a physical confrontation.

Some reports put the confrontation in the Council hall, while others put it in a bar or tavern in town, after the day’s session. Some say he punched him, causing a bloody or broken nose. Others say it was merely a hard slap across the face.

All we really know for sure is… Jesus is Divine, and Nicholas ensured that the Early Church agreed.

Remember this the next time someone vigorously debates their point at a REC meeting. Uniparty-sellouts insist on “Unity”, and always behind their brand of BS. Real men and women can handle debate, and win on the merits of their arguments, not using their position to shut down dissention or discussion.

I don’t support physical violence in politics, and much less - false allegations of violence. Our discourse has to remain verbal, not physical.

Jailed again

Constantine had Nicholas arrested for his Slapsgiving to Arius. He was stripped of his Bishop title and garb and thrown in the clink overnight. In the morning, he was found praying, redressed in his confiscated Bishop garb, with his chains lying on the floor. The guards guaranteed Constantine that no visitors had been allowed to visit him. Constantine immediately restored his title, and dropped all charges.

Human Trafficking

One story I found about St. Nicholas revolves around saving three sisters from selling themselves into sexual slavery, because they did not have the necessary dowry to get married. This was a common problem in those days.

It is said that on three consecutive nights, he threw a bag of gold into the home, landing in stockings which were hung to dry, thereby providing the dowry for the father’s three daughters… and Santa-lore that “stockings were hung by the chimney with care…”

When the man went to thank Bishop Nicholas, he said “You must thank God alone for providing these gifts in answer to your prayers for deliverance”.

He Saved Three Boys From Being Eaten

Three lost boys seeking shelter happened upon a butcher’s shop. The butcher took them in, but then killed them and chopped them up, packing them in a vat of salt. Whether following the version of the story that claims this next part to have occurred seven years later, or the one that puts it occurring that same night, they were butchered… all accounts agree, Nicholas showed up and demanded to inspect the butcher’s salt stores. Praying over the vats, he asked God to raise the missing boys. As he supposedly said “Timothy, Mark and John - Put your fleshly garments on!”, his prayers were answered, and the boys came out of the vats, providing one of the miracles which led the Church to bestow him with Sainthood.

Taming The Sea

A ship ran aground, and the crew tried everything to break free. Unable to get off the reef, they prayed to St. Nicholas to save them. The story goes that Nicholas appeared on the ship and worked with them to free it. As soon as the ship was freed, the apparition of Nicholas disappeared.

Another time, Nicholas was on a ship, warning of an impending storm, which the crew ignored… until the storm came up abruptly. The crew and passengers then begged him to pray to God on their behalf. Instead, he commanded them to put their hope in God, and kneel down to pray with him. As he finished praying, the seas calmed, and a fair wind hit the sails and provided passage to Alexandria.

He Was an Exorcist

As Bishop, Nicholas traveled around the countryside, casting out demons and healing people of their various ailments. Carrying the Gospels in his left hand, he blessed them with his right hand, calling on God to heal the person.

I found many written accounts of Saint Nicholas expelling demons. Sometimes from one person, other times from several people at once.

One account I came across has Nicholas expelling demons from a Cypress tree in the village of Plakoma. Apparently, all he had to do was swing an axe and off they went. Hearing of this miracle, the people in the next village urged him to come and cast out demons living in their village’s well, which he did, causing the demons to flee away, shrieking.

After Christianity became the dominant religion under Constantine, many of the old Pagan shrines and idols became occupied by demons. Nicholas went about tearing them down, driving away the demons, and restoring peace to the people.

And, anyone who has attended REC or RPOF meetings recently, or read my article ‘Is The Republican Party of Florida Trying to Turn Florida Blue? Or Is Evan Power The Anti-Christ?’ knows that we could use some Santa-style, Christmas-Time Exorcisms here in FL.

Redistribution?

No, not in the reinvented AOC or Kommie-Holla way. But, there was a time when the southwest region of Turkey, Lycia, where he lived, was suffering from famine. One night, he appeared in a dream to a merchant in Italy who was about to set sail for Egypt with a ship full of grain. In this dream, Nicholas bribed him with three gold coins, and told the merchant to bring the grain to Turkey, and sell it there instead (yes, sell it, not redistribute it for free). When the merchant awoke, he found the coins in his hand. Surprised and scared, the man did as Nicholas asked, saving the Lycians.

Shopping Mall Santa, or Warrior for Christ?

Nicholas wasn’t some soft, jolly fat guy in a red suit, sitting in a department store, saying Ho-Ho-Ho, while a hundred kids sat on his lap and peed a little. He went about, speaking with authority, defending what was right, and defeating that which was evil. His presence was so strong that winds, waves, and demons shut the hell up and fled at his request.

We should all strive for just a little of that kind of unwavering strength in our lives. We are called to speak boldly to frightening circumstances in our lives, and tell those who need to hear it, to shut the hell up, from time to time!

The Moral of the Story

St. Nicholas wasn’t some namby-pamby, calling for unity. Quite the opposite. Santa was a badass, and so too should you be. During this festive holiday season, you’d better watch out, you’d better get pissed. Santa doesn’t hold his punches when it comes to the naughty list.

So, the next time someone complains that REC members are causing division… or that Santa Claus has nothing to do with Christmas… now you can tell them the rest of his story.

When we were children, we learned to speak differently to each of those different groups, and find the most effective way to build each of those relationships. That is the very definition of ‘politicking’. With that said, most of this article will just be a tribute to my dad and brother on their birthday, both of whom are looking down, and observing.

As I began writing this article, it started getting pretty long, even by my standards. But, in trying to edit it down, I realized this is a great way for me to pass on some family history to my daughter, and other family members. “You Can Catch More Flies with Honey, Than Vinegar”

I’ve always been a bit gruff and pushy, to my parents’ dismay. No, no, you may not think so, but hear me out…

My entire life since childhood, my dad would try to convince me that “You can catch more flies with honey, than you can with vinegar, son”. Finally I said to him “Who wants to catch flies? They make for horrible pets. They’re untrainable; they won’t sit, lay down, roll over, sit up and beg, or shake. I don’t aim to catch flies, I aim to swat them… hard”.

From my perspective, it isn’t that I have to change how I catch flies, but that people need to decide whether they wish to be a fly and get swatted, or be fellow fly-swatters.

My Father

My dad, Ted, was born on December 15, 1928. He was number 5 of 13 children (don’t ask… it’s a Catholic thing). When he and my grandmother came home from the hospital, she placed him under the Christmas Tree on Christmas Eve, like the Baby Jesus. A story I’ve heard a million times. OK, maybe not that many (although my dad would say “I told you a million times not to exaggerate”).

Early Years

When he was young, maybe 10-14 y.o., he had a dog named Skippy, who he was training to help him deliver papers on his paper route of a few hundred home deliveries. He trained him to take the paper all the way up to the second or third-story apartments. The problem was, Skippy would bring the paper back down with him. A technical glitch my dad was working on when Skippy went missing one day. My dad maintained that someone must have stolen him, because “he was the smartest dog that ever lived”. This is one of my favorite dad-stories.

After he finished his route, he would sell papers on the street, in front of a very large industrial complex in Endicott NY, which ran 3 shifts (There was a war on, you know). He would get up early enough to deliver the 300-or-so newspapers, and arrive at the shift gates by 6am, where thousands of employees were either finishing the night shift, or beginning the first-shift, before heading off to school, barefoot, uphill, in 3 feet of snow, apparently even in June.

Even the CEO of this factory (let’s call him Tom), pulling up in his chauffeured limousine, got his paper from my dad, who Tom called ‘Whitey’, because of my dad’s nearly white hair.

You see, papers were a nickle, and Tom would give my dad a dollar every day, and say keep the change, so it was a coveted gig. If my dad was running a little late from his route, other boys would try to sell the CEO his paper. Tom would tell them “Sorry boys, I only get my paper from Whitey”. That company was the original “Plant 1” of a business called “International Business Machines”. The CEO’s name was Thomas Watson, Sr., the Founder of IBM.

High School and Beyond

Dad attended High School at St. Francis Seminary on Staten Island. I think my grandmother’s hope was for him to eventually become a Priest. Luckily, my mother came along and that never happened, or you wouldn’t be reading this right now.

Although, his brother Arnold was Ordained as Fr. Stephen, and at some point was the Chaplain at the local college before establishing Mount St. Francis Hermitage in Union Center, N.Y. Fr. Stephen later worked as an investigator in the Vatican, routing out Communists in the Church (I think he missed a couple, one of whom wears a very pointy hat). Also three of my dad’s sisters, Eleanor, Lillian, and Chris became nuns. Although, all three later kicked the habit (get it?)

Family Life

Mom and Dad raised us with a good moral code of ethics, and a strong Catholic upbringing. The kind of thing you look back on, as an adult, and are grateful for, but maybe not so much at the time. Most of us went to Catholic School, at least through 8th Grade.

Our parents raised us as entrepreneurs. Most of our childhood, and all of our adulthood, dad had some business or another. As kids, each of us were ‘stockholders’, and we would hold stockholder meetings at the dining room table. Later in life, brothers Teddy and Bill, and I would become actual stockholders in the family businesses.

Before I was a twinkling in my dad’s eye, there was the Chuckwagon, a breakfast/lunch spot where the high school kids all hung out after school.

There was a time when a code enforcement officer came and threatened my dad with child-labor laws for having us kids work at the businesses. He went to the hearing and simply asked one question… “Would you rather my children were out on the street, getting into trouble, or learning the value of a strong work ethic?”
Case dismissed.

Then there was the Christmas Tree lot next door to the Chuck Wagon, which later became the car wash. No pictures of the tree lot, but here’s Michael, showing off the original plywood Santa from that lot, which my brother Steve still has. Last I knew he still had the real sleigh, too. I hear-told of some pictures of Michael showcasing Keith Richard’s house, but that’s another story for another time (Michael’s mom and Patty Hansen are cousins).

Then there was A-Z Vacuum in Endwell, where I grew up hanging bags and belts on the display rack, before learning to rebuild electric motors on the bench.

When my brother Ed was older, he convinced my dad to start a machine shop. My dad was the shop manager at K. Hein Machines, when he was around 21, so he was an experienced machinist. I remember the stockholder meeting, when we were coming up with the name. We came up with Val-Entaprises, Inc., a play on our name, but dad said it wasn’t available, so we chose Val-A Products. Later, in 1995, my then-fiancé/now-ex-wife and I started our wholesale sign manufacturing business, incorporating in FL as Val-Entaprises, Inc., but that’s a whole other story (which I’m in no hurry to relive).

Mostly we made “widgets” at the machine shop for other manufacturers in the area, many of whom had government or military contracts. We never knew what they were, just some component of a larger part of an even larger machine. Nobody ever really knew what they were making.

Universal Instruments had contracts with Singer-Link (aeronautical/govt/military). They asked my dad if Val-A Products did silk screening. We had never done silk screening, so naturally my dad said “Absolutely, we do screen printing all the time”. This was the one time that we knew exactly what we were making (even though they didn’t tell us), because it was in all the papers as to what Link was making… military flight simulators. So, we screen-printed the instrument panels for Link’s newest Flight Simulators. I mean, really, how many 12 year old’s can answer the question “What did you do after school today?” with “Oh, not much, rode my bike, shot some hoops, printed the Top Gun Flight Simulator Instrument Panels. What’s for dinner?”?

Val-A Products exploded due to a faulty gas meter, which was eventually proven in a suit against Sprague Meters. What a mess, but we rebuilt on the same location, keeping only the foundation and outer walls, and had a much newer and more modern office and shop floor.

We also had a pressure washing business, overlapping the machine shop and vac store era. You see, we rarely only had one business at a time, it seemed. And, when Nabisco announced they could no longer justify an outside contractor to clean their delivery trucks, my dad cut the price, and took some on barter. I can still taste the ‘Cheez-It’ and ‘Chicken-In-A-Biskit’ crackers that we got paid with.

Florida-bound

Reaganomics dealt a hard blow, even though it was probably a necessary fix to right the ship. So in 1983, we moved to FL for a fresh start (halfway through high school for me), bringing the pressure washing business, and purchasing a 50% interest in a small, 1-bay sign shop. Within a year, dad’s partner said he couldn’t keep up with a husband, wife, and 3 teenage kids, and needed to retire. So, we bought him out. We grew that sign shop into a 3,200sf operation with 20 employees and several crane/bucket trucks at its peak, and according to Lee County Permitting in the 80’s and 90’s, we pulled more permits than any other competitor, before finally closing in ‘96.

In 1989, needing to diversify, we started Janitor Depot in Fort Myers which added janitorial supplies to our vac shop experience. This eventually sold around 2003 or 2004, and the new owner got my ex-wife in the inventory. What a deal.

My Brother

I am number 7 of 8 children. My parents had a pattern… First they had a girl, then 2 boys, then 2 girls, then 2 boys. When my mother became pregnant with number 8, they were sure it would be a girl, to complete the pattern.

We weren’t wealthy, but having 8 kids requires a pretty big house. So, my dad built our house in 1969-1970, along with my 2 oldest brothers, Ed and Steve, who were teenagers. And, my dad’s Uncle Lou was a contractor, so that helped a lot, as well.

Junior

My mom had always wanted a Junior. My dad felt it was pretentious. But, every time since their first pregnancy, she tried to convince him. When she was pregnant with number 8, she said “Ted, this is our last chance and I really want a Ted Jr.”

Her due date was something like December 6th, I think. She usually hit her due date pretty closely. So, my dad acquiesced, subject to a couple simple stipulations. First, and most obviously… it had to be a boy. And based on their track record, he felt pretty confident it would be a girl. Secondly, “he” would have to be born on my dad’s birthday; not the day before, not the day after; but ON his birthday. He was confident this would never happen. Mom was never that far off the due date.

Anyone who thinks that God has no sense of humor is sorely mistaken…
Teddy, Jr. was born on December 15th, 1971, and the 2 were thick as thieves from that day forward.

Some Miraculous Moments

First, you have to understand that my dad liked his coffee ‘hotter than a lawyer suing McDonalds’. If it was still boiling in his cup, it was almost hot enough. Many a times one of us would have to go reheat his coffee on the stove.

One day my dad was playing with 10 month old Teddy on the family room floor, and my mom brought Dad his coffee and put it on the floor near him. Somehow, Teddy managed to plunge his entire hand all the way in the cup. Third degree burns over his entire hand. The doctors initially thought he might lose the hand. But, Teddy’s hand healed very fast, never got infected, and didn’t even show much permanent scarring.

When I was 8, and Teddy was 4, my parents went out for date night, or some event. They asked their good friends, Mr. and Mrs. Judge to babysit Teddy and I at their home. They had dogs, and Teddy and I were playing with the dogs.

For just a moment, we accidentally crowded one of their dogs from different angles, and made the dog nervous. He nipped hard at Teddy’s face, catching his lip and cheek. It was pretty serious. His upper lip was cut open all the way through, and there was an enormous amount of blood. Luckily, the Judge’s daughter was a nurse and performed some first aid until he got to the Emergency Room.

The ER couldn’t work on Teddy until they had my parents’ permission. I don’t have to remind you that cell service hadn’t been invented. Heck, Al Gore hadn’t even invented the internet, yet.

They eventually reached my parents, got the necessary permission, and performed some surgeries to repair his lip. He healed quite miraculously, with a slight scar on his lip, much less than half as obvious as Joaquin Phoenix, for reference.

Close Family

The Valenta clan are a very close-knit family. In fact, when we used to have regular Family Reunions every 2-3 years, there would be over a hundred in attendance. We were very close as siblings, and with cousins.

The Miniature Man

Teddy had an “Old Soul” quality about him. Even as a kid, he seemed to be wise beyond his years. My sister’s boyfriend, Dan, nicknamed him “The Miniature Man”, and it really fit him to a tee. Here’s his Confirmation picture…

Sharing Birthdays

From the start, the Ted’s Birthdays were a big deal in our house. You have to understand that if “Dad-isms” and “Bad-Dad-Jokes” are a thing, my dad was a connoisseur. For those of you who know me, I come by it honestly, as I am my father’s son. So, the next time I’m making a bad dad joke… go with it. I’m honoring my dad. Somebody has to do it, and my sisters are no good at bad dad jokes.

So, that leads us to the jokes. Right after Halloween, my dad would get a very young Teddy, maybe 3-5 y.o., to call up our brothers and sisters who had already moved out into adulthood. My dad coached him to say in a very serious tone “Dad and I have been searching the house, we’ve looked in every closet and under every bed, and we can’t find our birthday gifts, anywhere. We are beginning to get a little nervous. There’s less than 2 months to our birthdays”.

Dad’s birthday favorite was strawberry glazed pie, and Teddy’s was cherry cheesecake.

This Life is But a Drop in the Bucket

Teddy’s Passing

Teddy, myself, and our next eldest brother, Bill, were quite close. At the time of Teddy’s accident, we were working late on a Friday night at our family sign company, EWP Signs in Fort Myers (Page Park). Bill had an apartment in a 4-plex we owned, I lived in North Fort Myers with Michelle (Mom and Dad were not amused), and Teddy, being 17, still lived at home in Cape Coral. Bill and I went home by the east exit from the industrial park, and Teddy by the west, otherwise Bill and I would have been on the scene of Teddy’s accident. His truck went off the road and hit a fence, and the horizontal pole broke apart and went through the windshield, steering wheel, and his throat. Michelle’s brother in law was on the scene as a fireman, and told us that it took less than 5 minutes to arrive on scene, and another 15-20 minutes to free him from the fence with equipment. Teddy was revived several times on the way to the hospital.

Organ Donor

While I recently removed ‘Organ Donor’ from my driver’s license for what I can only describe as political reasons… back in 1989, our family firmly believed in the practice of leaving behind that which we couldn’t take with us, anyway. I don’t want to politicize the issue here, but if you want to know why I made this recent decision, there are plenty of links, such as Organ Donor Wakes Up and Whistleblower Allegations on the Organ Transplant Network. I suppose if I didn’t know what I now know, I would feel differently. In my own form of cognitive dissonance, I choose to believe that the current practices recently revealed were not occurring in 1989.

Teddy’s accident was in late July of 1989. On his way to the hospital, the EMTs had to resuscitate him in the ambulance several times. Once at the hospital, they put him on a respirator to keep him alive until an organ harvest team could arrive. This process took until Aug 8th, for a myriad of reasons.

On Aug 8th, the entire family held a meeting, and a sort of vote, to make the decision to remove Teddy from the respirator. We sat with him through the night, and into the next day, before he finally passed on Aug 9th, 1989 which became known as ‘Eight-Nine-Eighty-Nine’, an easy way to remember the date. Around the same time, school was getting back in session, where Teddy would have begun his senior year at Bishop Verot High School.

Throughout his stay at Lee Memorial Hospital, doctors would come in, look at Teddy, sign his chart, and walk out. By the time the hospital bill came in the mail to my parents, you would have thought that Teddy spent 6 months in Intensive Care.

Some months later, the Organ Donor organization sent a letter to my parents, condoling them for their loss, and thanking the family for Teddy’s contributions. They listed how many people were helped by various organs, which were not as many as most donors, due to the damage sustained in many organs from his time on the respirator and many resuscitations.

My father replied, thanking them for their kind words, but chastising Lee Memorial for the exorbitant hospital bill. My parents soon received a response that the hospital bill would be taken care of.

Dad’s Passing

My dad received heart bypass surgery in the early 90’s, after stents failed to do the job. He never really rebounded physically, and also suffered from pulmonary disease, which is what eventually took him in 2008. My parents were on vacation, back in Endicott, when he fell ill and was taken to the same hospital he was born in, almost 80 years earlier.

Ultimately, Dad’s last endeavor was to join the Lee County Sheriff V.O.I.C.E. volunteer unit. He was scheduled to go out on his first patrol when he got back from vacationing in NY, which never happened.

When Dad passed, I made a video for his Memorial Service.

Uncle Davey was Still in the Navy

Throughout my childhood, all my aunts and uncles would call me “David, I mean Bob”. Apparently, I resembled Uncle David in appearance and behavior, compared to him when he was that age.

David was a career Navy man, and was COB (Captain of the Boat) on I can’t recall which ship, but when he retired he was up for possibly getting his own ship to Captain, but chose to retire and go into business with his brother Jerry. He could never quite find his land legs and ended up missing it so much, he re-enlisted. But, the drop in rank he had to take, and no prospect to Captain his own ship soon had him retiring again.

He spent the next couple of decades working in a shipyard, which was the next best thing. After years of being subjected to asbestos, both on the ship, and in the shipyard, David developed pulmonary disease as well.

My Uncle David passed away this past week. I was lucky enough to recently have 2 good phone calls with him. We talked about politics. We are very like-minded that way. I shared with him some of the battles we’re fighting in Lee County, Florida, and the nation.

I would have really loved to have attended the funeral yesterday, but my mom and sister Ann are there, representing. I learned today that David will be interred at Arlington in the spring. What a great honor for his service to this great nation.

I bring David up, because it dawned on me that with the funeral yesterday, and Dad and Teddy’s birthday today, it sort of reminded me of 2003, when my sister Ann was getting married in California. My daughter was to be the Flower Girl. We were all just a few days away from flying out from all over the nation, when my brother Ed was killed on a tractor on his property. So, now instead of a wedding in California, we were heading out to a funeral in New York. So, here’s a little insight into Valenta tenacity… we decided to have the wedding on the original day, but in NY, instead.

This was a monumental task. My daughter’s Flower Girl dress was back in FL. Ann’s Wedding Dress was back in CA. The CA Marriage License was worthless, when getting married in NY. Let’s just say that neighbors had to break some windows to gain entry, and ship dresses to NY. A New York Marriage License had to be obtained, and NY doesn’t move quickly when it comes to gov’t red tape.

We had the wake one day, the funeral the next, and the wedding on the third day.

In your honor, I will make a strawberry pie and a cherry cheesecake. I’ll save you a slice. Happy birthday. I miss you both very much.
