Just as I am starting to get used to weekly dividends, we are now talking about daily dividends.

I remember years ago finding a list of stocks that paid monthly dividends. At the time, it felt like discovering a secret that Wall Street didn’t want me to know.

The idea of monthly dividends was a complete game changer. I could actually take steps toward building my passive income , no matter how small the beginning or today’s deposits.

Up until then, I had always associated cash flow with rental properties. If you wanted income, you bought real estate, collected rent, and hoped your tenants paid on time. Stocks were for growth. Real estate was for income.

Then I discovered monthly dividend stocks. Total game changer for me. Couple of my favorite monthly Dividend payers include:

💰 The Private Credit MELT Down — and How We Profit from It.

Hey SIS Crew,

I hope this letter finds you in good spirits. As of Friday’s Open, the ranking of the wind:

The top preforming asset Energy followed by Gold.

I have received more than one concerned message about the absolute brutal assault ass-kicking private credit related stocks, especially CLO’s and BDC’s have taken the last few weeks digest AI disruptive effect.

Throw in the Fed not cutting rates along with the War in Iran. We got a perfect storm. The good news is we get to have a real-world stress test.

Examples of CLO funds would be ECC, EIC, CIFF, and BDC’s REIT would be positions like PNNT and BIZD.

What is a CLO?

CLO = Collateralized Loan Obligation

It’s a financial structure that:

• Buys hundreds of corporate loans (usually below investment grade)

• Bundles them together

• Slices them into different risk levels (called tranches)

• Pays investors based on that structure

Think of it like this:

👉 A CLO is a machine that turns corporate debt into cash flow

If you remember from my training on the SIS Strategy, there are three numbers that matter most:

1️⃣ Estimated Income – yearly, monthly, weekly, and daily.

2️⃣ Available Withdrawal (AW) – 30% of your account balance.

3️⃣ Account Balance - How much skin in the game.

Those three numbers tell the real story.

What is happening in the markets right now is actually the purpose of the public stock markets. Markets move in four directions — up, down, sideways, and violently down.

I realize it can be tough to watch paper profits and share values collapse on your screen. I’ve been in these markets since 2001, and I’ve made every big mistake more than once.

Chances are, you’ve made a few of those mistakes yourself.

Maybe right now you were over-margined and got hit with a margin call. No big deal, sell something. Raise cash even if you have to a temporary loss.

For a while, it was beautiful — double-digit yields, smooth payouts, minimal defaults. But that story’s changing fast.

Software stocks are cracking. Public names like Salesforce (CRM), ServiceNow (NOW), and Workday (WDAY) are down about 20% this year.

Private credit funds have a ton of exposure there — roughly 20% of their portfolios, sometimes more. When the software sector sneezes, private credit catches pneumonia.

That’s exactly what we’re seeing. The VanEck BDC Income ETF (BIZD) — a basket of BDCs — just hit a 52-week low, now yielding around 12%.

Here’s the setup:

BDCs make loans to private, often leveraged companies. To juice returns, they borrow against their portfolios — often $1 of debt for every $1 of equity. That leverage looks great when things are stable, but it magnifies every loss on the way down.

Example: BlackRock TCP Capital (TCPC) had a few portfolio companies go south. The portfolio itself only dropped 8%, but because of leverage, their net asset value fell 19%. The stock dropped 20%, now trading at a 30% discount to its NAV.

That’s what happens when “income” meets “leverage.”

And you’re still paying 3–5% annual management fees for the privilege. Ares, Blue Owl, and the rest charge hedge-fund-level fees for taking on private loans.

But this is where opportunity shows up.

Investor sentiment in BDCs is the worst it’s been since 2022. Prices are beaten down, but the underlying income streams are still strong. The market’s giving us a shot to buy these at a discount.

🎯 Where to Look:

• Morgan Stanley Direct Lending (MSDL)

• Bain Capital Specialty Finance (BCSF)

• Nuveen Churchill Direct Lending (NCDL)

All three trade around 25% below NAV with 13%+ yields and focus on senior secured loans — top of the capital stack. That’s where the pros hide when the market gets shaky.

Now, contrast that with private funds like Blackstone Private Credit (BXSL), Blue Owl Credit Income (OCIC), and Apollo Debt Solutions (ADS). They trade at full NAV — 100 cents on the dollar — while similar BDCs are selling for 75 or 80 cents. Makes no sense.

Worse, redemptions are rising. Blackstone’s private credit fund saw $2 billion in withdrawals last quarter. If that keeps up, expect them to start capping withdrawals, just like their Blackstone Real Estate Income Trust (BREIT) did a couple years ago.

So, here’s the move — skip the private funds. Go where the liquidity is. Go where the discounts are. Go where you can buy $1 of assets for $0.75 and collect a double-digit yield while you wait. We can buy $3 of a company paying 15% yield for $1. That 15% basically turns into 45%… minus the cost of interest.

🧠 GP’s Take:

Buy quality BDCs at a discount, focus on management you trust, and stick with senior loans. Leave the fancy private funds to the “smart money” — they’re the ones about to get locked inside their own gates.

You only get so many big price corrections in the stock market during your lifetime.

A typical recession — if there is such a thing — lasts about 1 to 2 years. That’s the “bear market” style correction. When people talk about a recession, this is what they really mean: prices drop, volatility spikes, and high-quality companies get cut in half.

They lose 40–50% of their market cap. Some may even cut their dividends. But most of them figure it out. That’s literally what CEOs get paid millions of dollars to do — navigate through chaos and rebuild.

Outside of those bear markets, you’ll see shorter-term price drops from earnings misses or weak guidance. These are standard pullbacks — what we in the Money Flow call a Stage 4 decline.

In both cases, it’s all part of the cycle. Money flows, prices correct, and new opportunities are born.

Thankfully these types of price corrections are rare. And sometimes not so rare. Sometimes you have a couple 500-year floods in a decade. This isn’t taken into account for individual recessions. Sometimes it’s an economic shock that is contained in one or two sectors of the economy.

When a stock misses earners and it goes down hard, $7-$15 on a $50 stock hurts. That’s where diversification comes into play. How and why, it works this way I don’t know, but for every big loss I take I have big winners. Learn, study, and practice your skill until you find your zone.

Guess what, most black swan events come completely out of the blue. It’s called a black swan event.

A black swan event in financial markets is an unpredictable, rare, and high-impact occurrence that causes severe, widespread disruption and is usually rationalized only in hindsight

Popularized by Nassim Taleb, these events often cause massive stock market crashes, such as the 1987 crash or 2008 financial crisis.

Nassim Taleb's Black Swan theory describes extremely rare, unpredictable events with massive consequences that humans try to explain away in hindsight, making them seem predictable, like 9/11 or the 2008 financial crisis, emphasizing our vulnerability to the unknown and the need are to build robustness against such shocks, not just forecast them.

Then the market eventually turns and starts climbing another wall of worry. I was front row witness to this in 2008. I started trading daily in 2003. by the time of the financial crisis, I had years under my belt. It was far from obvious like it’s made out to be today.

Logic rarely works. Blind faith does. How you handle a market pull back, a correction or even more rare a recession can greatly affect your net-worth over your lifetime.

1. Market Snapshot

U.S. stocks pulled back sharply today

• S&P 500: −1.1%

• Nasdaq Composite: −1.9%

• Dow Jones Industrial: −0.8%
  Tech/AI mega-caps led the decline after a brief rebound earlier this week.

2. Tech Valuation Worries

The yesterday’s rebound fizzled as investors focused on stretched valuations in AI and mega-cap stocks. High expectations remain a key risk.

Stretched valuations happen when stock prices get far ahead of a company’s actual profits or growth. It’s like paying $100 for something worth $50 — the market can stay expensive for a while, but the risk of a pullback rises. High P/E ratios or prices well above historical averages are the main warning signs.

Private payrolls rose 42,000 in October, slightly above expectations. Services PMI hit 52.4, signaling expansion. But employment growth within the sector remains weak, and input-price pressures are high.

PMI (Purchasing Managers’ Index) measures the health of the manufacturing or services sector. A reading above 50 signals growth, below 50 signals contraction — it’s a quick snapshot of economic momentum.
