“T^4 scales super fast...” - Elon Musk (@elonmusk)

■ TERAFAB:

- There are 2 new Grimes County Clerk filings with a total of about 23 acres for Terafab via WIT TECH. All recorded on October 30th. This puts total parcels at 49 and 9,099 legal acers. Pending parcels deeded to WIT TECH under the seller is now at 8 for 562 acers. Here the 3 new filings:

• Wallace Tract is for a 15-acre house tract at 3734 Luthe Rd, Bedias. It sits on the edge of existing WIT TECH land, plus driveway/road access. Tracts 2–4 are access easements only (~4.27 + 0.37 + 3.69 ac), not owned land.

• Middlebrooks tract is for a 7.24 acers small strip that plugs into the main Terafab holdings.

■ SPACEX ($141.31, +3.62%):

- SpaceX and Tesla objected in writing to OKXICE TSV listing third-party tokenized versions of their shares. They joined Amazon, Netflix, Lam Research, and SoFi in that batch, bringing disclosed objectors to 56. OKXICE is a 50-50 joint venture of NYSE parent Intercontinental Exchange and OKX’s U.S. holding company. It plans 24/7 tokenized U.S. stocks via Uniswap v4 pools on OKX’s XLayer and settled in stablecoins under the SEC’s innovation exemption. A timely objection bars that venue from offering unaffiliated tokens of those stocks, but issuers can still tokenize their own. Of 62 names originally pitched, about 49 (79%) have objected; Apple is still among those without a disclosed objection. Former N.Y. Governor Andrew Cuomo is OKXICE co-chair.

- German startup Orbital Matter’s Replicator 2, launched aboard Falcon 9 Transporter-17, printed a ~0.5 m rigid cylindrical beam in open vacuum by extruding resin and curing it with UV light; first for a free-flying spacecraft. Why is this important? If beams can be printed on orbit for solar arrays, satellites (and eventually orbital data centers) can grow power without folding more origami into the rocket. That means more capable payloads still needing Falcon / Starship rides, and it sits next to SpaceX’s own push for high-power sats and Starship-scale structures rather than competing with launch itself.

- Vermilion United obtained the fully executed Cooperative Endeavor Agreement (CEA) between the State of Louisiana (Louisiana Economic Development) and SpaceX via public records request. It governs the 125,000-acre land sale for the Starbase Louisiana site. H/T Tricia (@LouisianaModelY).

New are key terms from the agreement (some were already known):

• New jobs must pay at least 150% of the statewide average wage.

• SpaceX must contribute at least $25 million to the Community Foundation of Acadiana by Dec. 31, 2030.

• Reasonable efforts to prefer Louisiana suppliers and contractors when competitive on price, quality, and delivery.

• LED to provide FastStart workforce training and High Impact Jobs Program support.

• Approved uses include a rocket launch spaceport plus related manufacturing, compute, power generation and storage, and employee housing/amenities.

• State to establish long-term funding for permitting agencies; permit and FAA licensing delays pause deadlines on both sides.

• SpaceX must file budgets, twice-yearly progress reports, quarterly payroll reports, and a sworn yearly compliance certification with LED.

• The $100 million land payment goes into LED’s Site Investment and Infrastructure Improvement Fund; the State can buy the land back only in narrow cases by refunding the full amount.

• Rebates of state and local sales and use taxes on aerospace equipment and materials for 20 years, renewable for 10 more if SpaceX creates 200 jobs and invests $1 billion.

• Agreement runs through August 25th, 2037.

- Check out RGV Aerial’s latest flyover!

• Masseys expansion work includes a new fiber/tempcrete staging pad. Soil prep and a drilling rig are on site for possible Masseys 2.0 flame-trench foundations. “Milky Wa”” heavy-haul road fill is going towards the Huddleston site. The hosts noted SpaceX is not filling the water gap between Masseys 1.0 and 2.0... for now.

• Starship Park retainer walls/seats are in, the stairs sit in a rough walking area where hosts expect an access ramp and road base for wheelchairs/walkers. Crews were actively spraycreting the artificial “Mars rocks”. They still expect Rocket Garden Ship and Booster hardware to sit sideways as a full stack, not upright.

• Gigabay has about five stands with legs in, only one ring so far. The connector section to Starfactory has its first centerline truss column.

• Pad 1 continues flame-trench buildout

• There is a road closure from the Wharf to the Port of Brownsville posted for tonight at midnight to 4 a.m. CT.

■ TESLA ($398.50, -1.32%):

- Let’s fly! New video dropped from the POV of the Roadster from the reveal event. Sick!

- For October, Tesla China sales were up +10.3% YoY. YTD they have sold 810,889, up +21.4% YoY.

- Per the Electric Vehicle Council, Tesla Australia delivered 4,050 vehicles for October, up +342% YoY! The Model Y led with 3,105 deliveries, but the Model 3 had 945, up +420% YoY!

- Today Dutch type-approval authority RDW approved changes to Tesla’s FSD (Tesla Assisted Driving (TAD)) on the display, manual, and driver info. For HW4.0+ cars with TAD, the driver-set speed margin above the limit drops from +50% to a max of +10%, resets to 0% at every start, and other speed-related functions default off. Tesla asked for the assessment; RDW found no adverse effects and kept the existing type approval. Belgium, Croatia, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Slovakia, and Slovenia were notified. The update goes out OTA. EU-wide approval is still before the European Technical Committee on Motor Vehicles (TCMV).

- IMC Logistics, the largest asset-based marine drayage operator in the U.S., announced that a new Tesla Semi has arrived and entered service as part of its order of 50 for California operations. The order includes Standard Range models for port drayage and Long Range models for routes between Southern California and inland destinations. Pacific Region President Jim Gillis said the trucks support a blended sustainability approach that also includes hydrogen fuel-cell and renewable-diesel vehicles, enabling zero-emission service on longer-haul lanes.

- Giga Texas has added capacity with two 12-hour shifts, day and night, for car production at least through year-end. General Assembly stays Monday–Thursday; much of the rest of the factory still runs the full week and some weekends. H/T Joe Tegtmeyer (@JoeTegtmeyer).

- About two dozen Cybercabs are testing in Metro Detroit out of Tesla’s Southfield collision center. They have been spotted on I-696, M-10, Telegraph, and Eight Mile. No Detroit service announced yet.

- Cybercab will be on display in South Korea at Starfield Anseong from November 12th – 15th.

- The new Brookshire Megapack FTZ doesn’t waive China tariffs. Tesla’s own Subzone 84AM application says parts hit by Section 301, 232, or 122 tariffs still pay them, including the 25% tariff on Chinese LFP cells. It gets duty deferral until a Megapack leaves the zone. There is no U.S. duty on direct exports and a lower finished-product rate on other parts. The 14-month authorization runs to about the end of 2027, when LG Energy Solution’s Michigan LFP cells are due under a $4.3B deal.

■ THE BORING COMPANY:

- Michel (@Mic_VegasSphere) is at the LVCC for opening Day of SEMA 2026. He took the above pic showing the Vegas LOOP Tesla’s in action. He will check the Central Hall station on Friday!

- TBC’s Vegas LOOP using a hitch carrier rack for mobility scooters.

■ NEURALINK:

- NP22, Zach Mcmanus (@DeadManRolln), and Matic showing off mind control of their robot.

- Zach Mcmanus (@DeadManRolln) also drop post implant-op pics.

■ STARLINK:

- SpaceX’s Starlink published a support page titled “Standard Circular Kit Replacement” stating eligible early customers still on a first-gen Standard Circular kits can get a free Standard 4X kit, free mount, and optional free install. This is by email invite only. The old dish deactivates when the new one comes online or 14 days after delivery, whichever first. It can’t be transferred and doesn’t need to be returned. The 4X box has the Standard 4X dish with kickstand, Router 3, power supply, Starlink cable, and power cable.

- Heavytech MRO supporting Brussels Airlines with installs of Starlink on their A320 fleet. “We are more than proud to put our expertise into action... our team brings together the technical expertise, hands-on experience and commitment required to deliver these modifications to the highest standards.”

- Ottawa bet billions on Telesat Lightspeed as their alternative to Starlink, now Telesat’s aging GEO business is shrinking and can’t even cover the ~$1.7B–$2.3B due on December 6th. Lightspeed isn’t even a commercial product yet and won’t be until maybe early 2028. Creditors say the company moved ~62% of Lightspeed equity out of their reach, then offered a dilutive ~$3.2B rescue Telesat hasn’t taken. So the whole “Canada’s own LEO” political pitch to dump reliance on Starlink ended up putting public loans and contracts next to a refinancing fight and lawsuits instead of a working constellation.

- Air Tahiti Nui announced from Papeete that it has an agreement with SpaceX to put Starlink on its fleet of 4 Boeing 787‑9 Dreamliners. There will be free access in all cabins. Rollout is expected in 2027.

Per Lionel Guérin, CEO of Air Tahiti Nui, “Our passengers place their trust in our airline. They expect us to provide a flawless in-flight experience. Since high-speed connectivity is now a fundamental part of a successful trip, we are naturally investing in this service—which truly matters to them—so that Air Tahiti Nui remains synonymous with excellence, comfort, and innovation, in line with the most rigorous standards of our industry.”

- Starlink ad on Great Western Railway in the UK. Per David Holland, founder of Giant Compliance Ltd, “I’m currently dreaming of a GWR and Starlink advert: “High-speed internet on trains.” On my way to speakall things AML at the NARA training day tomorrow. Four hours to Manchester, no wifi and £30 an hour.“ Sounds like GWR needs to adopt Starlink.

- Swiss railway surveying and monitoring firm Wild Ingenieure AG (Küssnacht am Rigi) used Starlink and solar to automatically geo-monitor a railway tunnel at roughly 1,700 m above sea level through the summer season. No mobile reception, no grid power, no problem.

- Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam will chair a meeting tomorrow, November 4th, at the Grand Serail on Starlink, with Telecom Minister Charles Hajj, IT/AI Minister of State Kamal Shehadeh, and other TRA and company officials. Focus is Alfa’s initial Starlink offering to businesses and institutions. Strarlink is only available to commercial companies, maritime/aviation in Lebanese territory, and listed official/civil-society bodies. Residential, individual, and tourist roaming are not permitted.

■ 𝕏:

- X for Android now shares video posts straight into Instagram Stories as playable video, not just a post card with a thumbnail. In Stories you can reposition and resize both the video and the X handle overlay. H/T SandyX (@ThengaChutneyy) and @howfxr.

- Democrat Senators Catherine Cortez Masto of Nevada, Jacky Rosen of Nevada, Adam Schiff of California, and Richard Blumenthal of Conneticut sent an October 30th letter to Rob DeCampos, X Chief Compliance Officer, alleging Polymarket ads on X can’t be reported through the usual interface. They cite Donald Trump Jr.’s Polymarket advisory-board role and his firm 1789 Capital’s investment. They ask whether advertisers can buy report exemptions and whether Polymarket or Trump-family representatives sought that. They set a November 30th reply deadline.

- X Girls (@thesoragirls) posted that X now shows a “Made on 𝕏” badge on videos edited on phone or given a custom thumbnail; tapping the badge on mobile opens a CTA screen. Other users noted the label can also show after simple in-app crops on photos.

■ SPACEXSI:

- SpaceXSI Gun Range data center cooling tower buildout off Stanton Road in Southaven, Mississippi.

- When Elon said, “Yup, T^4 scales super fast,” he is pointing at the Stefan-Boltzmann law that the heat an object radiates rises with the fourth power of its absolute temperature. Run the radiators hotter, and each square meter dumps a lot more waste heat into space. No atmosphere to carry heat, so cooling ends as infrared radiation into the cold of deep space. A vacuum blocks conduction and convection, but it does not block that radiative dump. Point a high-emissivity radiator away from the Sun and it can shed on the order of a kilowatt per square meter. That is the reason for Starmind. Move GPU heat through liquid loops to large deployable radiators, reject it into vacuum. Hotter chips help because of T^4, so the same heat load needs less radiator area. High-power AI cools cleaner off-planet.

“Yeah, much easier to cool in space. ~1300 W/m^2 is easily achievable for an aluminum radiator pointed away from the Sun, as it is mostly just seeing cosmic background radiation at ~3 degrees above absolute zero! Solar panels generate ~250 W/m^2, so you should expect them to have ~5 times the area of the radiator. Most of the mass of the satellite is solar panels...”

- SpaceXSI via MZX Tech LLC is running eight ProEnergy PE6000 turbines at its Southaven, Mississippi, behind-the-meter plant for the Colossus campus. Missouri-based ProEnergy converts GE CF6-80C2 jet-engine cores; each unit is rated about 50 MW. Mississippi’s March 2026 PSD permit for 41 permanent turbines, includes those eight, and sets a higher VOC limit of about 25% higher (2.5 ppm vs 2 ppm at 15% O₂ for the PE6000s than the Solar units.

- Grok Bot may offer usage resets in exchange for training data. A prompt spotted in a Grok Bot preview build offers users who hit 100% of their usage a reset if they let their interactions train SpaceXSI models. H/T @blankspeaker.

■ SPACEX ($136.37, +1.22%):

- SpaceX published a dedicated Starfall page at spacex.com/starfall offering routine access to microgravity in low-Earth orbit for manufacturing, research, and testing. The listed specifications are a 1,000 kg payload capacity, 1 kW of payload power, an Ethernet data interface, mission duration tailored to the payload, and continuous connectivity via Starlink. The page targets three areas: biomedical research, pharmaceutical discovery, and materials science for next-gen materials and semiconductors using the vacuum and microgravity environment. Starfall is designed to launch on Falcon 9 or Starship.

- On Friday, October 30th, launch 125 of Falcon 9 Starlink 15-18 took place from Space Launch Complex 4E (SLC-4E) at Vandenberg Space Force Base, California. This was the 18th flight for first stage booster B1093. It previously launched SDA-T1TL-B, SDA-T1TL-C, Transporter-16, and 14 Starlink missions. The booster landed on drone ship Of Course I Still Love You in the Pacific Ocean. 27 Starlinks were deployed. This was the 700th lifetime Falcon 9 launch!

- Brandon L. Simmons (@ChairmanSimmons), Professor of Business at Wiley University and former 23rd Chairman of the Texas Southern University Board of Regents, visited Starbase, Texas, as a highlight of a trip with the University of Texas at Austin’s Governor’s Center for Management Development at the LBJ School of Public Affairs. He noted the jobs SpaceX, Saronic Technologies, and other technology companies are bringing to South Texas, creating career opportunities for Texans.

- Gwynne Shotwell (@Gwynne_Shotwell), SpaceX President and COO, posted that she and her husband Robert are distributing their gift of over 2 million shares of SpaceX stock to children’s Trump Accounts in December. The initial tranche targets 11- to 17-year-olds in zip codes with median family income of $57,000 or less, or zip codes too small for an MFI to be reported. An additional gift is being finalized for military families overseas, foster children, and more children with MFI of $90,000 or less in counties near their Texas home.

Per Gwynne, “Thank you to the incredible team SpaceX, the Treasury, IRS, The Dell Foundation, Greater Horizons, Invest America, and the legal firms of Morgan Lewis and Gibson Dunn for working over the past few months to make this happen. We are deeply grateful for the groundbreaking work that Brad Gerstner (@altcap) and Michael Dell (@MichaelDell) have done for the long-term financial security for millions of kids. God Bless America!”

- The City of Starbase (@StarbaseTX) announced SpaceX will again sponsor the Brownsville Police Officers’ Association’s 40th Annual Surf Fishing Tournament at Boca Chica Beach on Saturday, November 7th, from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. CT. Tickets are $25 at the event (kids free), with prizes, live music, family activities, and Learn to Fish sessions.

■ TESLA ($403.82, +1.00%):

- Unsupervised Robotaxi is now live in Fort Worth, Texas. Rides opened at 6:00 a.m. CT today. The service area is about 143 square miles (Saginaw to Benbrook) This is Tesla’s third-largest unsupervised zone, the seventh US city, and fourth in Texas.

- The Texas Robotaxi roster reached 1,204 vehicles. The roster shows 573 Cybercabs and 631 Model Ys. Only 55 behind Waymo’s 1,259 in Texas.

- In Europe for October, Tesla increased registrations YoY in Sweden by +248%, Norway by +131%, and Denmark by +34%!

- Tesla Europe (@teslaeurope) announced that the Cybercab is touring Europe starting November 5th. The confirmed schedule includes the above 12 stops in nine countries.

- A November 2nd Federal Register notice (2026-22301) from the Foreign-Trade Zones Board authorizes production of Megapacks and Bento Inverters by Tesla at its facility in Subzone 84AM, Brookshire, Texas. Tesla submitted the notification on May 20th; the Board notified the company on October 28th that no further review was needed. The authorization is limited and runs for 14 months and subject to the FTZ Act and Board regulations. This allows deferred or reduced duties on certain imported components used in the Brookshire Megapack operation.

- On Friday, October 30th, the San Francisco Standard reported that Tesla would open customer reservations for Optimus in early December, specifically timed to the Humanoids Summit on December 1st – 2nd in San Mateo, California. - Tesla filed public comments with the U.S. Trade Representative on July 2nd in the Section 301 investigation of Vietnam’s intellectual-property practices (docket USTR-2026-0364). The company asked USTR to “take into account the supply chain needs of American manufacturers,” stating that certain advanced components and precision manufacturing equipment still cannot be sourced domestically at the required scale, quality, or cost, even after major U.S. investments. The filing seeks consideration of those needs in any potential tariff measures rather than a blanket exemption. The USTR’s IP probe, launched after Vietnam was designated a “priority foreign country,” is set to conclude by November 29th. Vietnamese goods currently face a general 12.5% U.S. tariff imposed in July following a separate forced-labor investigation; the IP probe could result in additional duties.

- Tesla software update 2026.32.300 adds several undocumented changes. Seat heaters can now automatically turn off after 20 minutes to protect the heating elements. Grok is expanded to Israel, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Morocco, and Jordan on AMD-equipped vehicles only. Owners can check Powershare support under Controls > Software > Additional Vehicle Information. The in-car browser gains an ad blocker.

- Japan’s Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT, @MLIT_JAPAN) is preparing to revise vehicle safety standards under the Road Transport Vehicle Act to uniformly certify Level 4 (fully autonomous under specific conditions) and Level 5 (fully autonomous everywhere) vehicles that lack steering wheels, brake/accelerator pedals, rearview mirrors, or driver monitoring systems, applying to vehicles produced from December 2026 onward and replacing prior case-by-case approvals. The plan will be discussed at an MLIT vehicle safety study group meeting on November 4th and aligns with June UN World Forum for Harmonization of Vehicle Regulations (WP.29) standards expected to become international in December.

- Tesla will show the European-spec Semi for the first time in France at Connect Trucks 2026, held November 3rd – 4th at the Hôtel du Golf Barrière in Deauville. Jean-William Dubal, Tesla’s Business Development Manager for Semi in France, confirmed.

- NP Alex Conley (@Bcidesign) using his N1 implant to control his wheelchair with his mind through a hospital to radiology!

■ STARLINK:

- Dutch flight instructor Sam Guichelaar (@SamGuichelaar) received a Paramount copyright infringement notice through Starlink within two days of torrenting an episode of Dexter: Resurrection. He noted it was the first warning in 24 years of torrenting and that Dutch ISPs have generally refused similar data requests from rights holders. Starlink forwards these notices under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. Rights holders monitor public BitTorrent swarms, log participating IP addresses, and submit reports including IP, port, protocol, and timestamp. Starlink matches the IP to an account and forwards the notice. Starlink uses Carrier-Grade NAT (CGNAT), assigning the same public IPv4 address to multiple users. This can result in notices for activity by others sharing the IP. First notices are typically warnings only.

- Norrtåg @Norrtag_AB), the regional train operator in northern Sweden, is set to become the first in the country to equip its entire fleet with Starlink. After running the system as a test project for two years, technical chief Linus Sedlacek Åkerlind said it has worked “grymt bra” (really well). The full rollout is expected to finish in the first half of 2027. The operator is owned by the regional public-transport authorities of Sweden’s four northernmost counties and has been run by VR Sverige.

- The Washington Post states SpaceX is in talks with EchoStar about either buying Boost Mobile or gaining access to its network to support a hybrid Starlink Mobile service. Elon met EchoStar chairman Charlie Ergen last month. Neither SpaceX nor EchoStar has publicly confirmed or denied the meeting and no deal has been announced.

- Celver, a Spanish telecom firm, deployed Starlink in Urda Toledo to support the live field broadcast of Telemadrid’s “120 Minutos” program covering the October 28th high-speed train collision near Urda/Los Yébenes. Starlink enabled the Telemadrid team (@telemadrid, @120minutosTM) to report from the scene where terrestrial networks were disrupted.

- X refreshed the alternative app icon set for X Premium subscribers using iOS. No date mentioned for Android. It is under Settings → Subscription → App Icons.

- X (@XOpenSource) announced that Under the Hood now lists the specific posts that received a visibility-limiting label. A prior September 19th – 22nd expansion already added visibility of legal/government demands that restricted reach, including which country issued the demand. Eligible accounts can view the report at x.com/i/under_the_hood or download it as JSON. The visibility-limiting label is shown when fewer than 5% of an account’s posts in the report period carry that label.

- Similarweb data for September shows X led major social media websites in average visit duration at 13 minutes 25 seconds, ahead of Facebook (10:15) and Instagram (8:38). The figures cover all traffic to the websites worldwide (desktop + mobile browser) and exclude native mobile app time.

Per Elon, “Maximizing for long-term unregretted user seconds.”

- X Business (@XBusiness) announced that Lead Gen Ads are generally available to all advertisers worldwide, including small businesses and self-serve users in X Ads Manager. Users can submit a native form without leaving the platform; leads go to a Leads Center for export or CRM handoff. The format supports image, video, carousel, and Timeline Takeover creatives.

- X Payments notified account holders that starting December 1st eligible Stored Value Accounts earning the 6.00% APY will receive that rate only on the first $150,000. Balances above $150,000 will earn 4.00% APY. The same notice limits ATM operator-fee reimbursements to $4 per transaction, up to two times per calendar month; X Money itself continues to charge $0 in ATM fees. This applies to accounts eligible for the 6% rate. New York residents still earn 0% APY.

■ SPACEXSI:

- Say hello to Gun Range and Spam, the two new clusters coming to the SpaceXSI campus in the Memphis–Southaven area. Gun Range is named due to teh location being a former local police department gun range. It will hold 220,000 Nvidia GB300s configured for training with 800-gigabit networking, matching Macroharder and Minihard, and is tracking for operation by the end of November. Spam is in a former Hormel building, hence the name. It will hold about 200,000 GB300s set up for inference with simpler networking and less than half the fiber, targeting December.

Per Elon, “I hope Spam doesn’t produce too much spam!”

- SpaceXSI published a November 2nd blog “Giving every team a data scientist with Grok Bot”. Data Bot is a shared Team Bot inside Grok Bot maintained by the company’s data science team. It queries the warehouse, runs analyses, builds charts, and can create Databricks or Hex dashboards. Teams can also add it to Slack channels for questions and scheduled reports. The company estimates it handled about 70 hours of data-team work last week. It draws on shared skills (metrics definitions, analysis methods, visualization standards) and memory maintained by the data team, so improvements benefit everyone rather than relying on individual users’ knowledge.

- US District Judge Debra M. Brown of the Northern District of Mississippi denied SpaceXAI’s motion to dismiss the NAACP’s Clean Air Act lawsuit late Friday. She ruled that the plaintiffs have statutory standing and that the gas turbines at the Southaven, Mississippi site are not "mobile sources" under Mississippi’s state implementation plan. The case will proceed. This order is separate from the October 20th ruling that rejected the Department of Justice’s attempt to end the suit.

- Grok API text is getting an invisible statistical watermark starting November 7th. It is on by default for grok-4.7, grok-4.6, grok-4.5, grok-4.3, and the three grok-4.20 variants (reasoning, non-reasoning, multi-agent). The mark slightly shapes token selection without adding characters or visible labels; responses include an x-watermark header. Team admins can turn it off per model in the Console only after confirming a legal exception applies. The company cites compliance with the EU AI Act. Consumer Grok apps and X subscriptions are not affected.

Per Elon, “The cost of serving Grok Bot was unsustainably high relative to revenue... Just being sensible...”

- Galatiq (@GalatiqAI) Co-Founder & Co-CEO Tom Abbott (@tomabbott18) and the Galatiq and SpaceXSI teams hosted a Grok Bot Hackathon and invite-only Executive Dinner at Pershing House in East Austin. More than 120 builders spent three hours creating Grok Bots that perform real work. The same evening, 50+ executives and clients joined a fireside conversation under string lights with Barric Reed (Galatiq CTO) and Adam Ghetti. The SpaceXSI team attended and brought customers. Galatiq is the Austin-based forward-deployed engineering firm that embeds teams to move enterprise customers from Grok pilots to production systems.

■ ELON NEWS:

Per Elon, “Tesla and SpaceX have created meaningful wealth for hundreds of thousands of employees over time and improved the retirement savings of hundreds of millions of people...”

- Elon posted that he bought his grandfather’s “old Bellanca from a collector” and is “having it restored to flyable status.” His maternal grandparents were Joshua Norman Haldeman and Winnifred Haldeman.

- The post responded to Sam Altman’s (@sama) comments from the Cheeky Pint podcast. Altman said it is “quite terrible” from a global allocation view for scarce DRAM to sit in personal computers where it is used only about 5% of the time, arguing that maximum utilization belongs in the cloud amid the AI-driven memory shortage.

Per Elon in reply, “Look at how generic and banal day-to-day corpo fashion and cars have become for over 2 decades! Time for a total reset in fashion. To quote my son, Saxon, “Why does everything today look like 2015? The future should look like the future!” We will make it so.”

- Two new Terafab/WIT TECH land purchases showed up in the Grimes County deed records totaling about 539 more acres. The WIT TECH total is now at 51 parcels / 9,638 acres. Here are the clerk filings (4 records, 2 purchases):

MRC Ventures LP tract at 349.15 acres. It matches all three of MRC’s parcels, so the whole MRC holding.

The Dusold’s tract at 191 acres. It matches the Dusolds’ three parcels. It is matched by seller and approximate acreage, meaning part of the survey, and the deed text itself wasn’t reviewed, so it may cover a bit less than all three parcels.

■ SPACEX ($134.72, -6.37%):

- Last night Super Heavy Booster 23 left Massey’s and returned to Megabay 1.

■ TESLA ($399.81, -0.87%):

- Ji Hoon Heo (@jihoonheo), CEO of DIY Wrap Club (@diywrapclub) got to checkout the Tesla Semi Atlas in Chattanooga. He reviewed the exterior for wrapping potential, the center-seat cab layout, and components shared with other Tesla models such as the Model Y, Model 3, and Cybertruck. They took a ride in the truck, and interviewed Matt McLelland, VP of Sustainability & Advanced Technology at Covenant Logistics. McLelland’s team tested the Semi for three weeks; the driver reported strong performance and confidence on the Grapevine (I-5 Tejon Pass), with discussion of charging options and operating costs. DIY Wrap Club YouTube video is in the sources section.

- Looks like Globe Logistics Inc of Calhoun, Tennessee, has order at least one Tesla Semi. In a post, Globe said “Our future Tesla Semi reflects what drives Globe Logistics: embracing innovation, investing in our drivers, and putting the future of transportation on the road today...” They highlighted the truck’s electric performance, efficiency, driver comfort, and zero tailpipe emissions. No specific order quantity, pilot, or delivery timeline was stated, and no independent confirmation of a purchase has appeared.

- Tesla announced a U.S.-only FSD referral program where existing owners who subscribe to FSD or purchased it outright can share a referral link from the Tesla app under Refer and Earn. The recipient gets a one-month free trial of FSD. If they subscribe during the trial, the referrer receives one free month of FSD, or $99 in Tesla Credits if they bought the software outright. Rewards are capped at 12 per calendar year. Recipients must not have subscribed to FSD in the prior 12 months.

- Robotaxi now operates from 6 a.m. to 2 a.m. Other new or recently added features include a rear-view camera feed viewable during the ride, the ability to share trip details with a friend, a redesigned Live Activity experience, Calm Mode (which dims the screen and sets cabin lighting to a relaxing state), and Grok availability on Model Y vehicles. Accessibility updates add an improved vehicle-locating arrow in the app, haptic feedback to help users find their vehicle, and music control via Screen Reader.

- Tesla Australia submitted a formal response (Submission 258) to the Australian Senate Select Committee on Productivity. In the submission, Tesla asks the Commonwealth to support autonomous vehicle trials on public roads in 2027 through temporary permits and to accelerate the proposed Autonomous Vehicle Safety Law (AVSL) from the currently expected 2029 timeline to 2027. The company states that Tesla vehicles have completed over 160 million kilometres on Australian and New Zealand roads with FSD activated since September 2025, and that advancing the AVSL by two years could unlock more than A$10 billion in safety, productivity, environmental, and economic benefits while saving hundreds of lives. H/T Kian Chong (@kianchong).

- Tesla China launched a new financing plan for orders placed from October 30th - November 30th cutting the minimum down payment for five-year 0% interest financing on select Model 3 and Y variants to 39,900 yuan (~$5,940), half the previous 79,900 yuan level. The six-seat Model Y L requires a minimum down payment of 59,900 yuan. The plan includes a balloon-payment option that defers a final payment of 39,900 yuan to the end of the term to lower monthly installments. Limited-time cash discounts of 10,000 yuan on the Model 3 and 4,000 yuan on the Model Y also apply.

- Tesla filed a Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) Permit under Tesla Semiconductor, LLC by Rule No. 185814 (project 416941) for a “SEMICONDUCTOR MANUFACTURING FACILITY.” The filing lists the company as owner and operator of the regulated entity “AUSTIN SEMICONDUCTOR FAB” (RN112555263). This is the Advanced Technology Fab at 1424 Robotic Ave, Giga Texas. Don’t be confused due to the LLC and two different addresses on other permits. Other permits have used 1 Harold Green Road and the Cortex addresses. Pic from today by Joe Tegtmeyer (@JoeTegtmeyer).

- Tesla Energy announced that Heat Pump Optimization is available for Powerwall 3 and Powerwall 3P in Europe. The feature directs compatible Smart Grid Ready (SG-Ready) heat pumps to increase heating (Boosted mode) when surplus solar is available or electricity prices are low, storing energy as heat in buffer tanks or hot water storage so the system draws less power during higher-rate periods. In Self-Powered mode it activates on excess solar; in Savings mode it also activates on low prices. It returns the heat pump to Normal mode when solar drops or rates rise. Tesla’s documentation and support pages list requirements including Powerwall firmware 26.26 or higher, an SG-Ready heat pump with an accessible SG-2 contact.

- Karn Budhiraj, Tesla’s VP of Supply Chain, will speak at the Global Semiconductor Alliance’s (GSA) 2026 Asia Pacific Executive Forum in Tokyo on November 4th. The event brings together global semiconductor executives and technology leaders for discussions under the theme “Advantage, Multiplied: Advancing AI and Innovation Through Global Semiconductor Collaboration.” Topics include AI infrastructure, Physical AI, advanced computing, quantum technologies, and intelligent systems.

- Cambridge Xploration published an analysis on October 24th showing that solar now supplies about a quarter of Spain’s electricity. In 2026, average day-ahead prices were €22 per MWh at midday versus €111 per MWh in the evening, and roughly 41% of midday hours were at or below zero. The analysis of Spanish battery permits found that Tesla Megapacks account for about two-thirds of standalone storage capacity listed, though Spain had less than 200 MW of batteries operating as of April 2026 and none of those permitted Megapack projects were running. The piece notes that batteries can capture the midday-to-evening price gap by charging when solar output is high and selling later, while solar farms selling into the midday market face low or zero prices. Independent reports confirm rising curtailment (2.5 TWh in the first half of 2026) and falling solar capture prices in Spain, with multiple projects specifying Tesla Megapack equipment in official filings.

■ THE BORING COMPANY:

- The “Tesla Colorado River Tunnel” site has received more equipment and tunnel liners. TBC crews are installing forms for a Prufrock thrust ring in the large pit. Pics by Joe Tegtmeyer (@JoeTegtmeyer).

- Per TBC Recruiter Alicia Scuderi (@alicia_at_tbc), *”Civil Engineering is one of the most important teams at TBC and criminally underrepresented!” *They are hiring for their 2nd Civil Engineer in Texas. Jon link in sources section.

■ NEURALINK:

Per Elon, “Neuralink’s first product is called Telepathy. It enables high-speed communication with computers or humans simply by thinking. Output bandwidth will vastly exceed the fastest human speech or typing in a few years. Read that sentence again... Our second product is called Blindsight and it will, as the name suggests, enable even those who are completely blind or have never seen to see. It is ready from an engineering standpoint. Just waiting on regulatory approval... Hopefully, in a few years, we will be able to shunt signals from the motor and sensory areas of the brain to the limbs and enable people to use their hands and walk again...”

- YouTube creator Cleo Abram (@cleoabram) published a video titled “Neuralink’s Newest Brain Chip Isn’t What You Think,” covering Neuralink’s N1 implant, Next Gen R1 surgical robot, and brain-computer interfaces. We get to see inside of the Main Building at Del Valle, Texas, campus; hear from Neuralink Principal Investigator, Dan Adams (@Dan___Adams), and Neuralink co-founder, President, and COO, DJ Seo (@djseo). Great informative video and worth the watch. Link in the sources section.

- Zach Mcmanus (@DeadManRolln) posted this image of his Neuralink scar.

■ STARLINK:

Per Arlyne Pardo of DASH BPO, “On my way back to Panama, and this time I can stay connected if I need to, because Copa Airlines now has Starlink Wi-Fi! Shout out to Copa Airlines, so proud of this Panamanian company!”

- KAYAK (@KAYAK) now allows you to filter flights by “Ultra-high speed Wi-Fi (Starlink)”. Travelers can select the option under the “Flight quality” filter or use the platform’s AI-chat feature.

- SpaceX is notifying Residential service customers of a price adjustment via email or app message. Beginning with the next billing cycle on or after November 30th the monthly price for the Residential service plan will be adjusted to $156. Starlink states prices are set dynamically based on supply of capacity and customer demand, and may change as the constellation grows and network capacity changes. Customers will continue to receive unlimited data for 4K streaming, video calls, and high-speed connectivity.

- A solo Swedish sailor whose 12-metre sailing yacht suffered mechanical problems about eight nautical miles offshore of St Lucia, KwaZulu-Natal, used Starlink on October 26th to contact the Ocean Sailing Association of South Africa (OSASA). OSASA alerted the National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI) Richards Bay duty crew. NSRI station commander Norman Rautenbach said the crew launched the rescue craft Ocean Guardian from Station 19, rendezvoused with the yacht, found the sailor safe, and established a tow. Strong south-westerly winds slowed the operation; the yacht was accompanied by two fellow yachts and brought safely into Richards Bay with assistance from Transnet National Ports Authority Port Control, completing the operation in the early hours of October 27th.

■ 𝕏:

- X’s Global Government Affairs team (@GlobalAffairs) announced Irish citizen journalist and political commentator Kirk Loco (@Polito_loco), of Wicklow, was acquitted on October 29th at Bray District Court of a charge under Section 4 of Ireland’s Harassment, Harmful Communications and Related Offences Act 2020. The charge stemmed from a single June 21, 2024, post on X that included a photo and relayed a teenage girl’s account of an intoxicated migrant Palestinian asylum seeker housed at the Trudder House IPAS centre in Newtownmountkennedy exposing himself to her on a Bus Éireann 133 service between Dublin and Wicklow. Loco was arrested at his home and faced up to two years in prison. Judge John Cheatle dismissed the case after finding the State had not proved it beyond a reasonable doubt and that the complainant’s evidence was not credible. X funded Loco’s defense.

- This went live a couple of days ago, but X added a “Post Image” option. Just long-press any image to repost it; original author is credited automatically. This also applies to videos, “Post Video”. Reposter and original creator both get the impressions.

■ SPACEXSI:

Per Elon, “I know it’s taken longer than expected, but Grok 4.8 will not be a disappointment. We’re not optimizing for benchmarks and I really don’t care how Grok does on those, but it will be incredibly useful.”

- SpaceX’s Cursor disclosed a security incident involving a modified Claude Code VS Code extension available on its extension marketplace. The company said the malicious version, which was not developed by Anthropic, affected at most 5,000 users. The extension was available for roughly 11 hours on October 29th and attempted to collect host information (such as hostname, username, operating system, and IP address) and set up remote access via an attacker-controlled SSH key. Cursor temporarily shut down the marketplace, worked with providers to neutralize the malware, confirmed no further risk, and restored the marketplace. It advised affected users to update to Claude Code for VS Code version 2.1.314 and follow remediation steps.

- Grok Bot added an Import Memory feature that lets users bring preferences, instructions, and context from another AI assistant into their primary Bot. In Settings → General, users choose Start Import under Import, copy a provided prompt into a chat with the other assistant, paste the assistant’s reply into the second box, and select Add to Memory. The imported content is sent to the primary Bot and that chat opens for review. The feature requires Grok Bot 0.75.2 or later.

■ ELON NEWS:

-Per Elon, *”My biggest concern is that if there is a clean sweep by Democrats of the House, Senate and Presidency in 2028, they will: *

Make DC and Puerto Rico states to gain a strong majority in the Senate.

Open the borders and legalize everyone living in America illegally to cement a permanent majority.

*Increase the size of the Supreme Court to gain an immediate majority. *

*This would result in America becoming a permanent one-party state and the end of democracy in any meaningful sense of the word. *

All that is needed to ensure this doesn’t happen is 51 Republican senators in 2029. That is why you should vote for Republican senators this election. Other reasons are irrelevant compared to this one...

It would be game over for America.”
