FANGS, RANDY

Just wanted to take a moment and thank you for all the tremendous outpour of love for Lucy and I. I know I say it a lot, but the support you all have given/ continue to give means the world to us. I’m so lucky to have such a beautiful community of wonderful people in my life, and you’re all a part of that.

• If you’ve ordered any handwritten lyrics from this last drop, thank you for being so patient as I’m getting these all done. Each one is written in real time, so it’s taking me a second to finish them all, but those will all be going out in the next week.

STUDIO UPDATE

Last week absolute shredder of a drummer Dylan Moore, my homie/producer Henry Chadwick and little ol me went into the studio to start working on some new tunes for an upcoming EP. This is the same team that brought you Morbid Little Thing, and it feels like we’re really coming into our own with these batch of songs . Without revealing too much, we’re all taking the SHREDDER in Bones Shredder very seriously. I am SO EXCITED to share what we’ve been working on. We’ve been experimenting a lot and trying out weird stuff. STUFF AI COULD NEVER DO….but thats a rant for a different day. Like I said, VERY EXCITED. Next week we’ll finish the vocals and extra fun stuff then it’s off to get mixed.

ALSO!

Wanted to share something that’s near and dear to my heart. In January 2025, I helped produce and played on a new record from my best friend Jaake Margo’s band, Sweet Gloom. It was such a fun time getting to work on these rad songs with such rad people. Sweet Gloom also features MEGA HOMIE Avery Okamura (of Bones Shredder) on guitar. So if you like the two guitar rippers of Bones Shredder, LA’s toughest rhythm section and a king of rock n roll heartthrob, SWEET GLOOM IS FOR YOU! SO WITHOUT FURTHER ADO, enjoy Sweet Gloom’s Box Dye:

You can pre-order the record at Sneak Dog Records HERE

As always, thank you for everything you do to support Sunken Teeth, Bones Shredder and our world of music friends. WE ALL LOVE YOU!!

I’ll be sure to send another newsletter sooner rather than later. We still have merch over at Sunken Teeth if you wanna pick something up!

PS. if I were to start a pateron/podcast what would you want from it? side eye emoji

Hello fiends!

I hope you’re all doing well!

First off, I just wanted to apologize for how long it’s taken me to ship the shirt pre-orders. BUT I’m happy to report that as of this email, all orders should be on their way. Thank you for patience! YOU RULE!

I do have some good news and some bad news.

I’ll hit you with the bad news first. Unfortunately, this last week, Lucy and I were involved in a wicked fender bender which resulted in BOTH of our cars getting totaled. Someone cut off someone else, Lucy breaked, I breaked…CRASH!

Thankfully everyone involved in the 5 car collision is OK and safe, but Lucy and I’s cars got the brunt end of it. Miraculously, the only person to sustain an injury was me. My left hand ended up hitting the windshield resulting in some pretty gnarly cuts and scraps. Thankfully no stitches, no broken or missing fingers, just a lot of blood…pretty on brand hahaha. I can still shred which I will be doing next week as Bones Shredder goes into the studio to record a couple ~new~ songs *side eye emoji*.

One of the worst parts about the crash is that it happened on LUCY’S BIRTHDAY!! I FEEL TERRIBLE! If you feel like supporting Lucy / helping her sad birthday blues, PLEASE check out her art store here: Lucy's Art Round-Up or picking up some merch from her band’s store here: DogPartyLive.com. If you’ve never checked out Lucy’s creative endeavors, PLEASE DO! She’s a rock n roll queen that’s responsible for so many amazing songs AND art designs!! Art designs which include 99% of all Bones Shredder designs! SHE’S THE BEST!

If you’ve read this far, I LOVE YOU!

ON TO THE GOOD NEWS! SunkenTeethCo. is fully stocked with Bat and Count shirts. We also threw in the show leftovers of our NEW BOO-ty shorts and exclusive Kiki Painmaker designed shirt!! SO RAD!! I also added the lyrics back in the store for anyone who missed out on this last run.

If you’ve ever thought about ordering something from me or Lucy, now would be a rad time given the cost these car wrecks. But as always, I greatly appreciate any and all forms of support for me, Lucy or anyone in our little creative circle. It truly means the world to all of us. Thank you.

I’ll probably send out a more Bones Shredder focused newsletter soon since this one is SO LENGTHY! And once again, if you’ve made it this far, I LOVE YOU!!

Will update you with better news soon <3

SHIRT UPDATE: I’m starting to ship out some of the shirts we have on hand while we wait for THE BIG SHIPMENT to come in this weekend. Thank you all for being so patient and rad!

Also just wanted to take the time and thank you all for all the support you’ve given Bones Shredder, Sunken Teeth or anything else I’ve been a part of. This whole operation is 100% DIY. Not only are you supporting me, but you’re supporting; Bruce and Cole who help print our merch, Lucy who does all the art and design, Zach who makes the videos, Dylan, Kayla and Avery who play IN Bones Shredder, Ryan who records us, Lizzie who helps spread the word about our little project we have going over here. Your support means so much to all of those people, to me…AND MORE! All this to say, thank you. For everything. You are what is keeping us going.

That being said, I’m excited to share that Bones will be hitting the studio later this month and I can’t wait to show you what we come up with.

On a separate note, this upcoming Friday (6/5) we will be releasing an exclusive Bandcamp cover that will only be available for the weekend. After that, POOOOF! GONE! Never to be released on streaming. So be on the look out for that!

Thanks again for all the support and as always, for being on this list. WE LOVE YOU! Talk soon <3

I am truly speechless over the amount of excitement around this latest drop of merch. Your support means so much to me and everyone involved in the Sunken Teeth family. It fills my heart with graciousness and gratitude. Being an independent creative can be a lot of hard work, but you make it all worth it.

Pre-orders for the shirts are still running now until Monday at midnight.

Get yours here if you haven’t yet: SUNKENTEETHCO.COM

Even if you didn’t pick anything up, but just shared the news or poked around to see what’s up…THANK YOU! You all rule. It’s hard to put into words how much you all mean to me.

I’m finally going to be home in the crypt for awhile, gearing up for new things coming up. New music, new merch, more shows…WHO KNOWS!

Rock n roll has given me a wonderful life and I have you to thank for it. Talk soon

Bones Shredder is stoked to announce we will be playing MOTHFEST 2026 in SANTA CRUZ, CA!! Tix here: Moth Fest 2026 https://www.ticketweb.com/event/mothfest-2026-tribute-to-dan-moes-alley-tickets/

This years line up includes Rezurex, Band of Orcs and our dear friends in Dark Ride celebrating the release of their new record, ‘Blade Manor’! I actually helped write three songs off it; Coffin, Fever Dream and Do or Die! Always fun to make music with Emilio.

Mothfest honors the passing of a dear friend Dan Lamothe. Dan, Emilio of Dark Ride, Kyle of Band of Orcs and I played together in a band once upon a time. That’s why I’m so stoked to be able to share the stage with my blood brothers and remember the legend that is Dan ‘Big Moth’ Lamothe.

For those of you familiar with ‘Morbid Little Thing’, 3 Dots and A Dash is dedicated to Big Moth specifically. That was his favorite tiki drink and one of the last tattoos he got before passing away. The Sky Is Falling music video was also shot in Santa Cruz and features a lot of the places Dan and our friends would hang out a lot.

We hope to see you there if you can make it! I know Bones Shredder hasn’t left California yet, but that’s something we’re working on to change!

Aside from the announcement of this show, you can expect a merch drop coming up in the next couple of weeks. As always you ghouls on the mailing list will be updated first before any social media platforms. SO THANK YOU FOR BEING HERE! YOU RULE!

Be back soon with more updates! Big Moth Forever!

fangs, randy

The show last week was SO much fun! I can’t thank you all enough for coming and making it such a memorable night. The band and I are so appreciative and had the best time. When you sing with us, there’s no better feeling in the world. THANK YOU! To be able to rock out and meet you was an absolute honor! Thank you for being so kind and supportive of this goofy vampire boy. It really means a lot that so many of you came out to show some love for DIY music and local art spaces. Music rules and so do you! Thank you again Alex and everyone at The Planetarium for having us. BONES SHREDDER LOVES YOU! If you want to donate for the expansion/continuation of The Planetarium you can HERE via Venmo.

I put some leftover shirts and merch in the store from the show which you can check out here! SunkenTeethCo.com. We restocked the Bat shirt and there’s only 12 Sunken Teeth tote bags left! WILD! Y’ALL RULE!!

First dibs goes to you for being on this mailing list CUZ I LOVE YA!

What a year 2025 has been.

This last year has been filled with so many highs and new heights I never thought were possible. Bones Shredder released it’s first record, we put out two rad music videos, made some rad merch designs, pressed vinyl and started playing shows! It’s hard to put into words how much happiness this whole process has brought me. From recording the album to making and releasing the videos to seeing so many people singing along at the shows. It’s made me feel really special and I appreciate each and everyone of you immensely. If you’ve come to any of the shows, ordered merch, listened to the record, told your friends to check it out, absolutely anything to help support this operation, THANK YOU! None of this would be possible without you.

The new year has a lot of unknowns and open ends…and that can be scary! But reflecting on all that we’ve accomplished this last year has given me a lot of hope and inspiration for the future. You’re the reason to keep creating and moving forward. Thank you for caring about the art I’m making. It truly means the world to me.

On a different note, this is the last week to put in any Sunken Teeth orders before I exit the crypt for about 6 weeks. January 9th will be the last day I ship out orders until I come back at the end of February. The store will remain open, you’ll just have to be patient as I go on a little adventure hehehe. ALSO! There’s only about 60 copies of the splatter variant of Morbid Little Thing left, so if you’ve been waiting, now’s your chance! SunkenTeethCo.com

Once again, I just want to thank you all for supporting everything we’ve done the last year and being on this list. I can’t share any solid plans yet, but there will be new stuff on the horizon…always. That’s a promise. Thank you all for being on this journey with me, and I can’t wait for you all to see what’s hiding in the crypt next.

You’re all the best

fangs, Randy

I’ve added more Bat and Blood shirts back in the store!

I’m gonna save the sappy end of the year newsletter for the next week or two!

Just wanted to update you all on this list about the restock!

First 50 orders get an exclusive sticker we only had at the shows! COOL!
