Settings, System: choose Stable or Beta (nightly) updates - #317

Conversation
The update channel is now a choice of two, each with a line on what it means: Stable (releases that ran as a beta for a day with no reported problem) and Beta (nightly) (each night's build of the latest changes, a day before Stable). It replaces the Preview option; an updater from before that still reports "preview" shows as Beta (nightly). A nightly release shows a Beta chip and says why this install gets it.

src/app/settings/system/page.tsx: the channel row is a radio group (Stable: releases that ran as a beta for a day with no reported problem; Beta (nightly): each night's build, a day before Stable). The help says moving to Stable never goes back to an older version. A nightly release shows a Beta chip and why this install gets it. An updater from before that still reportspreviewshows as Beta (nightly).src/lib/api.ts:AutoUpdateSettings.channelis"stable" | "beta".e2e/update-states.spec.ts: the beta chip, the oldpreviewvalue, and the two choices with their lines.Verification
